Kid-friendly holiday rentals in IJmuiden

This house is absolutely amazing. If you’re looking for a peaceful stay in the woods in a beautiful home then this is place. The house had everything we needed and more. A short drive into the town which had great restaurants and grocery stores. Only a 30 minute drive into Amsterdam. Would absolutely stay here again!

Die Unterkunft ist wirklich sehr gemütlich und einladend gestaltet. Durch die vorhandenen Rituals Produkte hat das Haus zudem sehr gut geduftet. Zu der direkten Umgebung kann ich nur gutes berichten. Es ist schön ruhig und idyllisch gelegen trotzdem kommt man innerhalb von gut 20 Minuten mit dem Auto nach Zandvoort oder Amsterdam. Ruud hat uns hierzu wirklich sehr hilfreiche Tipps mitgegeben. Zudem wurden wir vom Parkplatz aus persönlich von ihm zur Unterkunft begleitet, was einen sofort positiv ankommen lässt. Wir haben die Zeit hier sehr genossen. :)

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in dem charmanten Haus. Das Haus ist mit allem Notwendigen eingerichtet und alles war sehr sauber.

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit in Wenjas schönem Beach House. Es war so liebevoll und schick eingerichtet, die Küche komplett ausgestattet. Die Beschreibung der Wohnung trifft absolut zu. Die Kinder hatten große Freude im Pool zu schwimmen und die Sauna hinterher war eine Wohltat. In ein paar Minuten ist man am wunderschönen Strand mit netter Beach Bar. (Zu erwähnen ist vielleicht, dass ein Abschnitt ein Hundestrand ist. Für unsere Kinder eine Riesen Freude so viele freundliche Hunde anzutreffen. ) Von der Wohnung aus sind es nur ein paar Minuten mit dem Auto zum Shopping Center im Ort und viele Sehenswürdigkeiten (zb Keukenhof, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Zandvoort usw) sind in 20-40 min erreichbar. Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen und werden definitiv wieder kommen. Vielen Dank, dass du dein schönes Haus mit uns geteilt hast, liebe Wenja. Absolute Empfehlung ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Logement assez petit. 14 voyageurs sont possibles mais c'est vraiment aller chercher jusqu'à la dernière place disponible. Serviette assez vieille ainsi papier toilettes en très petite quantité. Dommage de n'avoir qu'une seule double pour 14 personnes. Il faudrait l'indiquer dans l'annonce et réduire le nombre de personne possibles dans le logement. 2 places dans un abri de jardin qui n'était pas indiqué

Even though this lovely home was located so close by the beach, a walk of 5 minutes, it felt very private and the surroundings are quiet. The home was exceptionally clean, beds were extremely comfortable. It was tastefully decorated and felt like a cozy home. We enjoyed walking to and on the beach, had a delicious dinner in the village and in nearby villages as well. The hosts were very proactive with communication and responded quickly to questions. I am recommending this 100% to anyone interested a stay in Wijk Aan Zee and I am hoping to book this again on my next visit. Thank you Jan and Femke for making this family trip so wonderfully comfortable. Monique

Excellent séjour chez Eva qui nous a accueilli car on était arrivé de l'autre côté de l'endroit où il fallait passer. Calme, reposant avec la terrasse extérieure et le petit chemin. On peut aller à la plage par le village, SPAR à côté, beaucoup de petites attentions bonbons, tulipes, du thé, des gâteaux... Très pratique pour stationner devant le SPAR beaucoup de places gratuites, un vrai plus, zéro stress. Pratique pour visiter le kekeunhof On recommande

Wir haben uns das Haus gebucht weil es uns von den Bewertungen sehr angesprochen hat. Unsere Erwartungen wurden aber weit übertroffen. Wir kamen in einem Haus in dem wir uns sofort wie zuhause gefühlt haben. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden was man für den täglichen Gebrauch benötigt. Alles ist sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Kommunikation mit Saskia war problemlos möglich. Wir haben uns das Haus mit einem befreundeten Pärchen gemietet und sind nach einer Woche sehr gut erholt nach Hause gefahren. Wir können das Haus bedenkenlos weiter empfehlen. Wir möchten nächstes Jahr im Herbst wieder kommen. Danke für alles Saskia und Flip.

Es un apartamento precioso, cómodo y súper bien conectado con el transporte público. La habitación principal tipo loft es ideal y la segunda es elegante y maravillosamente cómoda. Los baños y la cocina estaban impecables y cada detalle es bonito y agradable. Hay total autonomía y Gonny es súper amable y respetuosa. Hemos disfrutado de 5 días maravillosos en familia!

The space is amazing with natural sunlight coming into the living room area. It is definitely big enough for 2 or 3 people. The kitchen has all the basics that are necessary for basic meals.

“My stay at Evert’s place was 10/5 stars. The location is wonderful - right on the canal, down the street from a lovely cafe and flower shop and central to popular and nontouristy attractions alike. Evert is a wonderful and warm host who has meticulously curated a beautiful and homey flat. He provides extensive resources on the artistic hidden gems of Amsterdam within the flat’s book collection, which I found helpful and charming. The flat is on the second floor of the building owned by Evert and looks onto the canal. Evert welcomed me and showed me how to access the property so I could come and go as I pleased and had the independence and privacy that I desired. Would be a dream to stay here again.

Die Wohnung ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Für zwei Person ideal für eine kurzen Aufenthalt in Zandvoort. Die gastgeberin sind außerordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir bedanken uns nochmals für den schönen Aufenthalt.

Maaike und Marko waren super freundlich! Wir könnten spontan früher einchecken, die Wohnung war schön eingerichtet und gemütlich. Wir haben uns sehr Willkommen gefühlt und freuen uns auf ein Wiedersehen.

Das erste AirBnB, das sich für mich wie ein richtiges zuhause angefühlt hat. Es steckt sehr viel Liebe drin. Man hatte das Gefühl, dass man in einem Märchenhaus gewesen ist. Die Lage ist perfekt, um für ein Wochenende abzuschalten. 30 min mit dem Fahrrad nach Zandvoort und 5 min mit dem Fahrrad nach Harlem. Ich war von Harlem auch sehr überrascht, da es für mich wie eine bessere Version von Amsterdam angefühlt hat.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt bei Annette. Die Unterkunft liegt sehr schön zentral und Annette war sehr freundlich! :-)

We had the most wonderful stay. The Garage was perfect for what we needed. It was beautifully done, Sanny and Dennis had thought of everything. It had a lovely feeling to it, was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Check in was really easy. We used the bikes (thank you!) and the location was a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Alkmaar. We would not hesitate to return. Thank you for creating such a cool and beautiful space. Das Haus liegt in einer wunderschönen und ruhigen Umgebung. Es ist für Naturliebhaber leicht zu erreichen und dennoch nur 25 Minuten vom Stadtzentrum Amsterdams entfernt. Wir vermissten lediglich eine größere Spüle zum Abwaschen des Frühstücksgeschirrs. Insgesamt war es aber eine sehr sympathische Erfahrung.

Wonderful space! Beautiful interior, very well equipped for everything you might need over a long weekend stay. Marina was lovely, very helpful and communicative. The bed was extremely comfortable, location excellent, every part of the space is well thought out and would highly recommend it to anyone!

Wle spent 4 nights in very clean, cozy apartment, in peaceful canal area. Away from all the noise and traffic but still very walkable. good restaurants nearby. Our host was very friendly and responsive. Great communication. Big bed very comfortable too. Would definitely recommend!

This place was wonderful! It was just as described. We enjoyed listening to the birds (wild parakeets and others) as we sat on the balcony in the mornings. The stairs are steep and narrow but that is just part of being in Amsterdam. One thing to note, there are 2 showers, 2 sinks, but only 1 toilet. It didn’t cause any problem for me, but those staying in the first floor bedroom will have to climb up stairs in the middle of the night. Overall, I highly recommend!

Our stay with MorningStar in Amsterdam was absolutely exceptional. The home was pristine, beautifully designed, and full of luxurious touches that made our three-night stay unforgettable. We arrived to find thoughtful treats like fresh fruit and chocolate waiting for us—such a warm welcome! The location was perfect: central, quiet, and incredibly walkable, which made it easy for our family of four to explore the city. Every detail exceeded our expectations. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again—highly recommend!

Staying at Tess’s place felt like being at home, in the best way. The interior is just like the photos; colorful and spacious and cozy. Tess was a wonderful host, giving space but always responding quickly. The location was perfect, I found walking the streets and canals nearby to be so peaceful, while the city center (few minutes walk away) was invigorating and vibrant. It is a pleasant 15 minute walk to train station, and grocery is right around the corner. Lots of small coffee shops as you wander around. I loved coming home at the end of the day (or in the middle of the day just to enjoy the sunlight and the space). Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Kleines aber feines Apartment, Strand, Parkplatz, Zentrum und Naturschutzpark fußläufig zu erreichen. Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit in Maries Apartment! ☀️
