Vielen Dank für diesen wunderbaren Aufenthalt! Das Gästehaus ist liebevoll eingerichtet, mit viel Liebe zum Detail und absolut sauber. Es ist alles da, was man braucht, und als besonderes Highlight gibt es sogar einen Hot Pot zum Entspannen mit traumhafter Aussicht. Die Lage ist perfekt, um die Umgebung rund um Borgarnes zu erkunden. Ob Natur, Sehenswürdigkeiten oder kleine Ausflüge , alles ist gut erreichbar. Ich habe mich rundum wohlgefühlt. Auch die Gastgeberin war sehr sympathisch, reagierte schnell, klar und freundlich auf alle Fragen, auf Deutsch und Englisch. Ich habe sie kurz kennengelernt und den Eindruck einer sehr herzlichen, hilfsbereiten Person bekommen. Ich würde jederzeit wieder hier übernachten und kann dieses Gästehaus zu hundert Prozent weiterempfehlen!

Wir haben die Unterkunft geliebt! die großen Fenster, der Tolle Blick in die Ferne. Man merkt dass jemand Freude am Dekorieren hat. Das Haus ist sehr "Aurora-Freundlich", alles Licht draußen kann ausgeschaltet werden. Wir würden sofort wieder dieses Haus mieten wenn wir in der Gegend sind!

We had a magical time at Sabrina’s cabin! Sabrina was incredibly helpful, kind, and responsive. The cabin was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed as well as close to many sights. We saw the northern lights from the cabin our first night! Unforgettable :) Book it!!!

We rented one of the Gladheimar cottages for our brief stay at Blonduos as we were doing clock-wise on the ring road. We were swept away by the beautiful Blanda river nearby. The stay was perfect for our group of 8 including small children. Larus was very cooperative and helpful during our check-in. However, we had to do a local call during check-in, so be prepared to make an international call if you are visiting. Larus met us near the cottage and made sure the rooms were clean and thorough. We really enjoyed the outdoor hot tub that offered the much-needed relaxation after the tiring drive. Overall, the stay was pleasant, and relaxing. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable and inviting stay.

We had a lovely time in the cabin, it was just a shame that the weather wasn't good enough to use the hot tub. The cabin had everything we needed for the week (plus much more) and we would love to go back again one day.

Bjarney et Manuel sont des hôtes merveilleux et ils proposent une cabane tout équipée et isolée comme nous le souhaitions. Nous avons visité la péninsule Snaefellsnes et le centre de l'Islande du côté des glaciers : l'emplacement était idéal pour ces excursions. Je recommande ce logement et j'espère pouvoir y revenir lors de notre prochain séjour en Islande !

What a great cabin just outside Borganes. Robert was helpful and friendly. His place had everything we needed. The hot tub was amazing and we even caught a glimpse of the Northern Lights. It was the perfect base for exploring southwest Iceland, making a day trip to Snæfellsnes Peninsula for seal watching.

Over the top effort to make the home lovely, comfortable, and packed with every imaginable kitchen appliance, cooking utensil, pots & pans, and dinnerware, Netflix, Prime video and much more.

Gudny's place was amazing and the photos didn't do it justice. My family of 5 were very comfortable. We loved the updated bathroom and use of the hot tub.

This is a nice comfortable cottage for a small family of of four with small children but a bit of a squeeze for four full grown adults. That said, its beautiful and has all the amenities for a comfortable stay. Even the sofa bed was comfortable and afforded me a good quality sleep. There are black out curtains for this time of the year when its daylight 24:7. Thatnk you for making our stay comfortable and great!

We had a lovely stay in the cabin. It is located right on the waterfront and we were lucky to see seals swimming by from our window. The hot pool was very soothing after a tiring day! Only improvement suggestion : one of the window glass was slightly damaged and cold air was coming through. It would be better to fix it. Overall we had a good stay!

Preciosa casita de madera. Muy agradable con todo lo necesario. Estuvimos muy a gusto y nos sentimos como en casa. Rodeados de un precioso entorno vimos a los caballos de lejos, debido al mal tiempo no pudimos verlos más ni pasear, pero si tenemos la oportunidad volveremos para hacerlo. ¡Muy recomendable!

We had a lovely stay at the summer house. We were in a great location to see so many wonderful areas in the northwestern parts of Iceland. The nearby town has everything you need. The house was beautiful and clean. The hot tub was wonderful as were the surroundings. There was a lovely garden and flowers which made it very relaxing. And, unlike many places you will find in I eland, there were many mature trees. Really a wonderful experience. I would recommend it strongly for families with three or fewer children.

Saubere, einfache Unterkunft. Sehr ruhig gelegen und friedlich. Schöne Umgebung, fernab vom Trubel mit viel Natur. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt.

Við dvöldum í bústaðnum um páskahelgina og vorum afar ánægð með allt. Bústaðurinn var frábær í alla staði — rúmgóður og snyrtilegur, með fullt af plássi fyrir alla fjölskylduna. Það var sérstaklega gott að hafa gestahúsið. Heiti potturinn var dásamlegur – fullkominn eftir göngutúra og til að njóta rólegra kvöldstunda undir stjörnubjörtum himni. Allt var til staðar sem við þurftum, og samskiptin við eigandann voru mjög góð og greið. Við myndum klárlega koma aftur og mælum eindregið með þessum bústað!

Quiet and peaceful summer house next to a sweet horse farm. Very comfortable beds and homey atmosphere. Green grass as far as the eye can see. I wish I were there right now!

Our stay at this charming cottage in Borgarbyggð was absolutely perfect! The house had all the essentials. It felt like a true home away from home. The cottage itself was beautiful and peaceful, providing a serene escape after our days exploring West Iceland. Its location was ideal as a base for our adventures, allowing us to easily visit all the stunning sights in the region. We particularly appreciated the tranquility of the surroundings; it was so quiet and relaxing. The host was also very responsive. We highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful and well-equipped place to stay while exploring West Iceland. We'd love to return someday!

We very much enjoyed our 2 night stay at this beautiful cabin in Borganes! It was a great location for us to be able to spend a full day on the Snaefellsnes Peninsula! The cabin was very clean and cozy and the host was very welcoming! They had a lot of recommendations for the area that was much appreciated. We would recommend this cabin to other travelers!

Very quiet and comfortable apartment with a beautiful view. It has all necessary equipment even for a longer stay.
