Thank you for this wonderful stay! The guest house is lovingly furnished, with great attention to detail and absolutely clean. Everything you need is there, and as a special highlight, there is even a hot pot to relax with a fantastic view. The location is perfect for exploring the area around Borgarnes. Whether nature, sights or small excursions, everything is easily accessible. I felt completely at ease. The hostess was also very likeable, responded quickly, clearly and kindly to all questions, in German and English. I met her briefly and got the impression of a very warm, helpful person. I would stay here again at any time and can recommend this guest house one hundred percent!

We loved the place! The big windows, the great view into the distance. You can tell that someone enjoys decorating. The house is very "Aurora-friendly", all light outside can be turned off. We would rent this house again immediately if in the area!

A great log cabin in the middle of nowhere with an excellent hot tub. We only stayed for a night and loved how well the space was used inside the cabin with all possible amenities catered to. Sadly, we didn't see the Northern lights when we were there but would come back again at the next chance.

We had a magical time at Sabrina’s cabin! Sabrina was incredibly helpful, kind, and responsive. The cabin was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed as well as close to many sights. We saw the northern lights from the cabin our first night! Unforgettable :) Book it!!!

Fabulous place with breath-taking views of the mountains, short stroll to a peaceful lake, soothing mineral water in the hot tub, and a well-stocked kitchen. We loved our time here and wish we could have stayed longer. Perfect for a 2 or 3 family visit, with toys and books for kids. A great home base for exploring Iceland. Ragnhildur and Astridur are gracious hosts.

We had a lovely time in the cabin, it was just a shame that the weather wasn't good enough to use the hot tub. The cabin had everything we needed for the week (plus much more) and we would love to go back again one day.

Over the top effort to make the home lovely, comfortable, and packed with every imaginable kitchen appliance, cooking utensil, pots & pans, and dinnerware, Netflix, Prime video and much more.

Gudny's place was amazing and the photos didn't do it justice. My family of 5 were very comfortable. We loved the updated bathroom and use of the hot tub.

This is a nice comfortable cottage for a small family of of four with small children but a bit of a squeeze for four full grown adults. That said, its beautiful and has all the amenities for a comfortable stay. Even the sofa bed was comfortable and afforded me a good quality sleep. There are black out curtains for this time of the year when its daylight 24:7. Thatnk you for making our stay comfortable and great!

We had a lovely stay in the cabin. It is located right on the waterfront and we were lucky to see seals swimming by from our window. The hot pool was very soothing after a tiring day! Only improvement suggestion : one of the window glass was slightly damaged and cold air was coming through. It would be better to fix it. Overall we had a good stay!

Beautiful wooden little house. Very nice with everything you need. We were very comfortable and felt right at home. Surrounded by a beautiful environment, we saw the horses from afar. Due to the bad weather, we could not see them more or walk, but if we have the opportunity, we will return to do so. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay at the summer house. We were in a great location to see so many wonderful areas in the northwestern parts of Iceland. The nearby town has everything you need. The house was beautiful and clean. The hot tub was wonderful as were the surroundings. There was a lovely garden and flowers which made it very relaxing. And, unlike many places you will find in I eland, there were many mature trees. Really a wonderful experience. I would recommend it strongly for families with three or fewer children.

Clean, simple accommodation. Very quiet and peaceful. Beautiful surroundings, far away from the hustle and bustle with lots of nature. We felt comfortable.

We stayed at the cottage for Easter weekend and were extremely happy with everything. The cottage was great in every way — spacious and tidy, with tons of space for the whole family. It was especially nice to have the guesthouse. The hot tub was wonderful – perfect after a day of hiking and to enjoy quiet evenings under the stars. Everything was there that we needed, and the communication with the owner was very good and easy. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this cottage!

Quiet and peaceful summer house next to a sweet horse farm. Very comfortable beds and homey atmosphere. Green grass as far as the eye can see. I wish I were there right now!

Our stay at this charming cottage in Borgarbyggð was absolutely perfect! The house had all the essentials. It felt like a true home away from home. The cottage itself was beautiful and peaceful, providing a serene escape after our days exploring West Iceland. Its location was ideal as a base for our adventures, allowing us to easily visit all the stunning sights in the region. We particularly appreciated the tranquility of the surroundings; it was so quiet and relaxing. The host was also very responsive. We highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful and well-equipped place to stay while exploring West Iceland. We'd love to return someday!

Very quiet and comfortable apartment with a beautiful view. It has all necessary equipment even for a longer stay.

This Airbnb is a little ways off the main road, but after a long week of travel, we liked the quiet calm and privacy. The hot tub was especially nice after a long day of hiking. The hosts were great as well. Overall, just a really nice place to stay.
