Holiday rentals with lake access in Hovden

Great place to relax, in winter and summer. We would love to come here in summer.:)

The two of us had the whole yellow house. Large living room, large kitchen, large bedroom. Cozy furnishings. The sun warms the living room wonderfully. We enjoyed the sun on the large terrace. No noise from the nearby street. The railing from the Airbnb pictures was missing during our stay. No problem for adults, be careful with children. The bathroom with toilet is on the first floor near the bedrooms and requires climbing stairs during the day. The Joker supermarket is directly opposite. Also open on Sundays and public holidays until 8 pm. We had a pleasant stay; highly recommended.

We had a very nice week in Terje's home. The house was nice and lived up to the description. We were 6 adults and 2 children, it worked really well, several had probably been a little squeezed 😄 Terje gave really nice instructions, and it worked easily to get in with the key box. The place was easy to find, if you just remember to read the fine instructions and not just follow google maps, because then you end up a little too far up. 😆 We had brief contact with Terje during the stay, due to problems with a bathroom, and the response was quick and nice. Very nice place, super good as a base for motorcycle holidays as we used it for. We'd love to come again!

Had a great vacation! Beautiful surroundings, wonderful house. Unfortunately, the stove/open was not so easy to use. PlayStation 4, gym and kayak were not available (as advertised). Too bad!

Awesome rustic place to stay with modern conveniences! We were traveling through and Aasmund had a fire going for us and showed us around. We absolutely loved the rustic feel and decor and would have loved to stay longer.

We had to travel to Odda on short notice and be there for several days for family reasons. We were lucky enough to rent Orinta's house, and it was a perfect fit for us who are a family of five adults. The house is almost right in the center of Odda and there is free parking close by. Located in a garden (which is safe in the summer), the house is nicely decorated. Everything was clean and tidy and we had everything we needed. We would gladly come again!

We had a wonderful stay and Johnny was delightful.

Very nice and clean accommodation. Beautiful and well located. Plenty of parking, which was good for us who came with motorcycles. The host is very quick to respond. We are very satisfied and can recommend this home.

We had a good stay at Lene's place. The apartment is clean and very comfortable. The resort itself is private with beautiful surrounding. It is close to Røldal Skisenter and only 25 drive to Odda. It was really a cozy stay :)

Loved this place, we even extended our stay. First we were hesitant to book because we didn’t have our own bedding, but after texting with Kristen he recommended a cheap place to get some linen. Which was totally worth it! The bed was big and comfy, however too soft for my BF. The kitchen is well equipped and everything you’ll need. Water pressure in the shower is otherworldly lol (in a good way). The views of the mountains from the balcony and kitchen table are incredible. We loved the concept of cleaning the apartment for the next guests, felt like a real Airbnb. Also all the personal stuff of Kristen and fam made it feel right at home.

We've had a lot of fun with Judith and Bouke. We felt very welcome from the first moment. The house is delicate and well-equipped and the view is simply magical. It was very pleasant to cycle Gamleveien to Folkestadbyen and relax on the beach near the house. Judith's gallery was the very highlight of Folkestadbyen. The finest place there. We have acquired two fine works that we took home and hung on the walls. How lucky we are to have such wonderful memories from our trip! Our daughter got to play with the cat and she had a lot of fun out on the sunny terrace. Many thanks to Judith and Bouke for their hospitality and kindness! This place is highly recommended!💖

Very nice apartment, part of a cozy hotel with nice & warm lobby and fine restaurant. Perfect for a family. Very beautiful surroundings with a nice walking path starting just in front of the hotel. Everything goes through the hotel reception so it's very flexible. Beware that bed sheets and cleaning are not included, but can be requested at the reception for an additional fee.

Can’t recommend this beautiful cottage enough! Hosts were so helpful and welcoming. Perfect spot for a peaceful stay. Hosts cats were super cute and friendly!!

We had a lovely stay at Gullborg's place. Everything lived up to expectations, and we felt really lucky to have found such a lovely place. Both children and adults enjoyed the beach, the garden, and the beautiful terrace with beautiful views. Vrådal offers great hiking opportunities - also for small children. We would love to come again!
