Within walking distance of bars, restaurants, coffeehouses, bakeries, and local ski and snowmobile trails our guest home is a perfect place to explore all the Keweenaw peninsula has to offer. Guests have 24/7 access to the host, when necessary, as I live in the detached main house.

Beautiful home with 4 bedrooms on the waterfront. This is the best you will find. All the amenities - fast wi-fi, 3 TVs (satellite), full size kitchen, washer/dryer, and plenty of parking near the snowmobile trail. Mont Ripley is right nearby for skiers. Two full bathrooms and two half bathrooms. New grill added on 6/19/2020. The home is being updated as needed. From new oven mitts to anything else needing an upgrade. Check out the pictures. Nice, clean apartment just 5 minutes from Michigan Tech and a view of Portage Lake (lake access too!). One stall of garage parking available so you can go right from car to apartment without dealing with the snow. The driveway is plowed. Wifi, heat, keurig coffee selection included. Washer and dryer are in the spacious bathroom with a shower. Full kitchen and electric fireplace. Handicap accessible with stairlift from garage. Full sized bed with additional pullout couch.

Waterfront in Houghton

This 4 bedroom 2 bath home is located next to chutes and ladders located on portage canal next to Houghton beach, Chutes & Ladders, and Houghton public docks. Home is a short walk to Michigan Tech and historic downtown. There are two kayaks and 2 bikes available for you to use and explore the canal or downtown. We love dogs and do welcome them but do charge extra. Please send me any questions. Auto booking opens 1 year in advance. please do not send a request earlier.
