Great cabin in the woods, only one hour from Oslo

Idyllic cottage in beautiful tranquil surroundings in the middle of Hurummarka. Rødvann is located right outside the door with the possibility of paddling and swimming, as well as hunting and fishing. One canoe is included in the rent Toll road, with about 10 min walk on nature trail from parking in the summer. The path is not straight forward, but a little up and down, so I recommend a good backpack. In winter it is about 3.5 km with ski slopes from parking and into the cabin. Poor on-site mobile coverage. Perfect place for board games and family coziness!

Peaceful and quiet at the edge of the forest

Peaceful residence on the edge of the forest, 5 min from E-18 Birds, squirrels and deer in the forest. We want quiet and peaceful guests, due to the health situation with the host. Unassuming, with private entrance and access to terrace and garden. Plenty of space for parking. Fiber. Nice apartment with kitchenette and dining area (no stove), separate bedroom with double bed, pleasant living room with comfortable sofa bed and extra bed. Bathroom with shower. Possibility to rent washing machine, dryer. Smoking is not permitted inside or outside.

Amazing view 1 h from Oslo

Magical views, fresh air, great hiking trails and amazing swimming area only a stone's throw from the cabin! Partially newly renovated cabin for rent between Filtvet and Tofte, short way to the sea with parking space for two cars on the premises. Short walk to nice beaches and cliffs, and there are good opportunities for great walks along the coastal path or in nice hiking terrain. The cottage has several large terraces in different levels with barbecue and outdoor kitchen where you can make the evening dinner while enjoying the view.

Cozy and well-maintained cabin with stunning views of the Oslo fjord. Open and bright living room, 3 bedrooms. The cabin is south facing and has sun all day. It is located high and free in a quiet area. Nice and undisturbed outdoor areas. Few minutes to the lake and nearest beach. Only 1 hour from Oslo by car. Easy access by bus. Walking distance/3 min by car to Tofte city centre with several shops. We use the cabin ourselves a lot all year, but want to rent out some weekends and holiday weeks when we are not using it.

A great place to get away, enjoy the peace and quiet and still only be a little hour from Oslo and 45 min from Drammen. Great beaches or miles of trails and forest car roads. Two minutes away has “everything” you need, including great eateries. Windsurfing on Storsand, and southern idyll on Holmsbu. Animals welcome, NO smoking in the house! Dog park 10 min by car. Cosy cabin with a great view. 200 meters to the nearest beach and 800 meters to a big public beach. Sun from 8 am to 10 pm in the summer. Large terrace on three levels. Kitchen holds a modern standard. Main cabin holds to bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with a single bed), living room, dining area (with a kitchen sofa that can be made in to a double bed) and kitchen. Second cabin is the bathroom and third cabin is a bedroom. Note: The third cabin is without electricity.

Small gem on the sea all year

We had a great weekend at the cabin in October. Bente and Pål were very helpful and met us there to make sure we were comfortable. The cabin is quiet, cozy and has everything you need. It is amazing to wake up to the sounds from the fjord. We went for a walk and tried hard fishing 😊 We hope to be able to come back sometime.

Beautiful house on the fjord, the location was perfect, very quiet and my evening view of the fjord was really great. By car you can do a lot and explore the area. The house is spacious, the beds are very comfortable and in the kitchen you will find everything you need for cooking. Jostein responds very quickly and is friendly and helpful. I enjoyed our stay very much and will remember the fjord for a long time.

Awesome apartment with everything you need and so on. Fully equipped kitchen with cutlery and crockery, drawers full of spices (and organic sugar!). Coffee maker ready to use (i.e. didn't have to buy with coffee). Should you get bored, there are both Jon Fosse and Jo Nesbø in the bookshelf - in addition to useful tour books, games and much more. The apartment is carefully decorated, you feel well taken care of. Free use of the pool was great. Free parking and super nice location. We will be back! A tip for other guests is to shop before you get to Holmsbu, as there is only one shop there.

We rented the house in connection with a company. The place is beautifully situated in the nicest and sunniest part of charming Svelvik. Those who stayed here appreciated that it was an excellent location with a play park for the kids right next door, while having swimming conditions and a cozy marina in the immediate vicinity. There is a short way to restaurants and shops. Lene was very helpful along the way and communicated quickly and easily. Nothing was missing. We would make a strong recommendation for this place.
