Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Holland

This house is BEAUTIFUL! We stayed for a long weekend when my daughter was graduating form Hope College. It was the perfect house for several family members to stay and connect - and yet there were lots of space for people to get some "alone time" if needed. It's right near (not on) the water, bike and running trails nearby - close to the beach... and qucik 10 minutes drive to downtown Holland. The hosts were excellent - great communication, clear instructions - I highly recommend this place as a TOP NOTCH place to stay with family!

Debs place was the cutest and most cozy Airbnb I have stayed in! She described it well and it was the perfect location for a chill fun girls bachelorette weekend! We found that the coffee machine at the time was leaking and messaged Deb so that she would know (even though we planned to go out for coffee each day) and she was there with a whole new machine in 30 minutes! The place was clean, charming, and was filled with all the amenities you would need!! We would definitely book here again!

Quant house. I enjoyed the space and the old floors in the original part of the house. We felt at home. Close to everything which was great. Host was accommodating when asking about boat parking. Easy to get in and out of the house. We enjoyed the back porch on the warmer days. Hosts did mention that other guests have complained about the outside noise and yes it is a noisy corner. We unfortunately also stayed in the room with no blinds and that was annoying with not only the sun in the morning, but also the lights at night. The blinds were delivered during our stay, so I am sure that will no longer be a problem. The stairs going to the 2nd level are very narrow and steep. Difficult to get luggage up and down. All in all, it was a nice home and we enjoyed our stay.

This place was perfect for a weekend get away. It’s the perfect distance from downtown south haven. If you are looking for a quiet place away from the downtown then this is the place you’re looking for. Bill was very nice to give us recommendations on what to do as well!

I am still going to give a 5 star review regardless of a couple issues we had. First of all the house, amenities, and outside area are excellent and as described. The location feels very private and it is what we were looking for. We had 3 total issues during our stay, and 2/3 minimum were outside of the owner's control. During our drive in the Benton Harbor area had 60-70mph straight line winds that blew the outside furniture into the driveway. This storm also caused water to bypass a window and get the floor a bit dirty. Owners drove out early next morning and replaced outdoor furniture and I wiped up the water in the house. In the morning we realized the hot water was out. Owners immediately drove back out and investigated. They happened to have a property that was vacant at the time, and gave us access to it to drive there and shower. Overall communication and response was excellent. Owners made us whole, and I would recommend.

We stayed here for a bachelorette girls’ trip and had the best time! The place was clean, cute, and had everything we needed. Great location and super easy check-in. The host was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again!

We loved staying at this house, it was perfect for our party of 8! Just a short walk from the beach where you can see the most beautiful sunsets and we really appreciated the host providing beach chairs, beach umbrellas, a wagon and even bikes. We loved grilling in the backyard and having a fire. The beds were even all super comfortable, we will definitely stay again!

Loved staying here! It was comfortable, had more than enough room, and it wasn't far from town or the beach-so there was a lot to do! Diane left us some suggestions on restaurants and places to visit, made sure there were some welcome snacks, and was an all-around great host!

It was overall a great place to stay. It was walking distance to all things; shopping, restaurants, the water, etc. We had 4 guests and fit perfectly in the space without running into each other. All neighbors and surrounding places were respectful, however, we could hear upstairs resident walking and noice from those next door, but despite that it was still a very nice stay. When we first entered, the place was comfortably cool and stayed a comfortable temp through out the day, but we found that at night when windows were open and the space wasn’t kept open, the bedroom got quite warm. Again, it was still an amazing place to stay and the only things we had “problems” with were very bearable and worth it.

The apartment was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and the surrounding was so quiet and peaceful. Gary was an outstanding host, always quick to respond and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. We had a great time staying there and would definitely come back again!

The apartment was clean, cozy, and cute. It was comfortable, and we had plenty of amenities. It’s in a beautiful neighborhood that’s very walkable to great restaurants and cool shops.

Our stay here was great! It was in the perfect location for us to take a short drive to neighboring towns. Downtown South Haven was a quick drive to get to with restaurants/bakeries/cafes/beach that were recommended by Amy! We felt right at home and it was an ideal pick for us to catch some sleep in between our adventure days! The place was clean and provided everything we needed for a quick weekend getaway! Having a responsive host ensuring we had everything we needed has me looking forward to coming back again!

Saugatuck is a darling town and Robyn’s condo made it even more delightful. Wonderful neighborhood, very walkable to shops, restaurants and the water!

This was a great location. very close to downtown. You could walk downtown rather than trying to find a parking space. The view was great. we didn't have a problem with noise, but we stayed in February so there weren't neighbors. The shops and restaurants were still vibrant and had a good amount of people. The place was very clean and comfortable. had some trouble finding the place. There is a different address on the front of tow building. the correct address was on the door. The hosts were repaonsive and helpful. We had a great stay.

Nice condo in heart of Douglas. Would be great place during the "on season". I was there due to a power failure and its the off season so there's not many people around. Very clean place, newer appliances and great internet. Would rent again.

This was my third stay at The Loft and there’s a reason I keep coming back for more! The Loft is the perfect little place to stay for a South Haven trip, right in the heart of downtown you are within walking distance of literally any and everything you could possibly want on your trip and the Loft itself is SO cute and cozy.

We had a great stay overall—the condo was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. Everything inside was as expected and made for an enjoyable visit. The only real disappointment was that we weren’t informed ahead of time that the building was being painted, which meant the balcony areas were completely covered in plastic and unusable during our stay. It’s likely the building notified residents in advance, so a heads-up would have been appreciated. Aside from that, everything else went smoothly.

Brendan was very responsive, helpful and super nice. The place was perfect, the beds were comfortable and the condo was in a great location!!! A short walk to everything. I would definitely stay here again.
