Very nice place to stay. Highly recommended!

The home was beautiful and clean, in a close proximity to Hofn. It had a really gorgeous sunroom to enjoy and was in a peaceful location. We would not hesitate come again!

This place is completely secluded from civilization. One hour from town, along an unpaved road. The scenery is stunning and beautiful. This house is at the end of a fjord, in a village of less than 10 people. No stores, restaurants, or traffic!!!! Peaceful and a place in this world to be one with nature. The house is amazing! Beautiful view of the fjord!! Waterfalls in abundance on the drive down and up.

Hilmir was amazing and his apartment was fantastic

5 star hosts. You are renting there actual house and they welcome you in like family. They were very responsive and provided information on Hofn as well as house details. We were so tired after all our hiking we simply showered and went to bed. We did however do a few loads of laundry. Would definitely recommend to a friends coming to Hofn.

Aðalheiður is a wonderful host out of all the Airbnbs I have been to. She is extremely friendly, considerate and quite supportive through our stay. She even left a message to check if everything is ok, as she realised we didn’t check in before midnight as we are driving from south Iceland. She is quite communicative and does respond quickly whenever we have a question. She even left a message to call her even though it is late in the night if we need anything. The place is amazing with beautiful surroundings. The place is so peaceful with breathtaking views. We had the previlige to play and spend time with her amazing sheep and horses.

Grandma's place was very clean and cozy, we also saw the aurora.I will recommend my friends to stay

If you’re looking for a peaceful remote location in comfortable surroundings this is the place. As described, it’s 30 km on a gravel road, and will be a bit difficult in winter weather, so don’t plan to leave the valley on a daily basis at those times. However, the atmosphere is part and parcel of this, and I’ll be glad to go back someday. Also, Oskar was very concerned and helpful about making sure we knew when road conditions were slippery, and was willing to hook us up with locals if we were concerned about getting out (which we were not).

Fun surprise was heated floors in the bathroom. The hot water pressure was quite low, but that was likely due to the building being so much higher than rest of town (with really nice view off balcony.) Overall, we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again! Very clean!

Great location in Hofn. It was very clean and cozy. It was nice to have a full size refrigerator to store our food. Check in was a breeze.

I traveled alone this time and was very lucky to stay in this beautiful place for a long time. From the first day I felt absolutely comfortable and at home. The apartment is quiet, modern and furnished with a lot of care, immaculately clean and well equipped, ideal even for longer stays. Especially beautiful: the fantastic view of the Lagarfljót and the surrounding mountains. With its separate entrance and self-check-in, the apartment is perfect for those who appreciate tranquility. At the same time, it was nice to know that Heiða and Andy live in the same house with their family. Both are very welcoming, open and helpful – and just to the right extent. Her kindness really made my stay special. It was difficult for me to say goodbye and I would have liked to have stayed. Thank you so much for everything, Heiða and Andy. I look forward to seeing you again!

If you are looking for a relaxed stay in an apartment with a really pretty view on the mountains, look no further. All amenities are really clean and everything you could need is there.

Justyna was a great host - easy to communicate with and kind. Her place was as described, beautifully decorated and clean. We were able to prepare meals in the well equipped kitchen. Highly recommend Justyna's place!

Wonderful space with everything we needed. Lovely views and a bonus for us of visible northern lights the night we were there.

A lovely spacious apartment on the east coast.

Very clean and good communication from host. Very conveniently located and easy to find/ check in. Being British the only thing we’d have liked was a kettle to make hot drinks!
