Matthew’s place was perfect for our family visiting for a graduation party! The house was spacious, clean, and close to everything we needed! Would definitely stay again if available when visiting our family again!

This is a beautiful property tucked away in the hills of farmland above Norwich. It was perfect for an extended family getaway. Kids loved the pool, ping-pong table and pool table and we loved cooking in the well-appointed kitchen. Great little hike with outstanding views about 20 minutes away on Gile Mountain.

As described. Great location / convenient to highway. Owner has dogs - so did find dog hair. Totally get it - I have had dogs and know its pretty impossible to avoid. If you are allergic, may be an issue. Some other minor cleanliness issues - I cleaned their microwave and oven. One of my party members found a random clean sock in their bed (we had a giggle over it, probably just got stuck in the whole laundry situation). Overall, I understand its a house actively lived in and was not discouraged or disappointed in our stay. Internet is stable - was able to work remotely as needed.

This place was perfect for our family of three for a long weekend. The room had everything we needed and the views of the village from the balcony were amazing. Lots to do in the village and plenty more just a short drive down the road to Stowe. We’d love to come back in the summer when there are more outdoor activities available.

A perfect few days and one of the best Airbnb's that I ever stayed in. The hot tub, as well as the fully stocked kitchen - the best; and the plunge pool was so refreshing. You really feel that you are floating on the water while sitting on the adirondack chairs overlooking the lake. Everything in this Airbnb was a 10++++++!!!! We will definitely be back. This mini vacation was prelude to a longer on Cape Cod, and it was very painful to leave. Thanks for a little piece of Heaven. Ange

Look no further if you're traveling with toddlers—this Airbnb is a dream for families! The location is perfect: tucked just outside of Stowe, it offers peaceful country vibes, a spacious backyard, and stunning mountain views from every window—all while being just a short drive from town. What really sets this home apart is how toddler-friendly it is. It's a BabyQuip heaven—stocked with everything from a high chair and nugget couch (iykyk!), to Fisher Price Little People toys, coloring supplies, a train set, games, and more. Our toddler had a blast and was perfectly content spending evenings at the house, thanks to the endless entertainment options. The host went above and beyond—the home was spotless, and the kitchen was fully equipped with all the essentials. Highly recommend for any family looking for a relaxing, kid-friendly escape in Vermont!

Great location and lots of space. We were able to ski in/out (look for "Cliff's Road" sign when skiing back) fairly easily, which was nice. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks!

Haven in the Hollows was the perfect spot for a relaxing weekend with friends for my husband’s 40th birthday. The house was incredible and we were sad the weather wasn’t nice enough for us to make use of the private pond & firepit! We did get some use out of the hot tub which was pristine! House was very clean and looked just like the pictures in the listing! The host was very responsive to questions making things super easy. We will definitely be keeping this place in mind for future trips to VT!

We had a such a great, relaxing stay. Hayden was helpful and echoed the warm and hospitable charm of Vermont. The house was exactly as described and we enjoyed our time inside just as much as we did out. We initially booked this place to be relatively close to Burlington but realized Waterbury is wonderful! There’s a ton to enjoy, great restaurants but if you want a cozy night indoors, the house is fully equipped to meet your everyday comforts. One of our favorite moments was stepping outside during the evening and looking up to the stars. No light pollution - just a view that’ll brought an easy, simple joy. Really, really great stay. Enjoy!

The house, sun porch, and back patio are lovely. It was great to have the giant dining table for big family meals and game night. The sun porch was great -- in sun, rain, and a hail storm! -- for hanging out and relaxing...a beautiful setting. Parking is ample. Kitchen is very well-stocked. Stephen was super kind, communicative, and accommodating -- very helpful with local recommendations and check-in time. With a little planning, this is easy to deal with -- but just a heads up that the downstairs (which offers five beds in a great kids room) only has a half-bath...so they all need to share the shower/bath upstairs. Thank you for a wonderful family stay during UVM graduation. Great place!

This place is peaceful and gorgeous, with stunning views galore and inspiring design inside. Jordan was a communicative, friendly, and lovely host. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely loved staying here!!! Using this space as a get ready location for a wedding was the perfect venue for that! We got married just up the street and it worked out so so so well. Absolutely beautiful spot and the airbnb was bigger than it looked in the photos so we were all so comfortable and not cramped on top of each other! Thank you so so much again, we appreciate this all so much!! ❤️

We had a beautiful stay at this Airbnb and our host was incredibly helpful and gracious. The surrounding area was absolutely beautiful. The morning bird song and evening fireflies were a delight. Loved the art work, books, and fun antique decor. Highly recommended!

My sister and I stayed in Tatanka’s charming house during the weekend of my son’s graduation from Middlebury College, but it would have been a great place to stay just for a peaceful base to spend time in one of the most beautiful parts of Vermont. The property is completely private with a view of nothing but green lawn, green trees, and the Green Mountains. All its furnishings and appliances are solid, good quality, and work. The owner generously left us food in the freezer, milk in the fridge and ample supply of Green Mountain Coffee. A 5 in every aspect.

Scott's place is very quite and peaceful, ideal for couple looking for a romance getaway. We have everything we need in his place. Temperature dropped the weekend that we were there, so Scott was nice enough to prep the indoor fireplace for us and it was amazing! The kitchen was nice and he had left a few items for us in the fridge. Overall a really good stay, definitely recommend!

Warm, peaceful home in a beautiful little town. We stayed in winter with a big snow storm, house was Very comfortable, with delightfully chosen furnishings. Two nice coffee shops just down the street and wonderful restaurants in the area

It was a wonderful home for our family to gather and celebrate my daughter’s recent graduation from Middlebury College. I just wish we had discovered Kathryn’s house before now, as we would have frequented the place on the many trips we made to see our daughter. If you are coming to the Middlebury area to see family or just to take in all that Middlebury has to offer, we would highly recommend The Birch at Barnum Hollow.

Erika was so responsive, friendly, and helpful! She knows I traveled with an 8 year old so she prepared some chicken treats and left at the door as a surprise to let my daughter have some feeding fun. She also helped us set up the fire for my daughter to do the s'more. She shared the fresh eggs with us as well! When I notice some condiments were short, she sent them right away! The house is big having plenty of room to enjoy. Outside was huge to take a walk and to explore. My daughter could have fun inside and outside by herself. We love Erika and we love this house. My daughter told me this was her favorite house ever and wants to come back soon! Highly recommended!

The house is well cared for and in a beautiful location! The hosts made sure the driveway was cleared, salted, and sanded which was very appreciated as we had a lot of snow. The town of Richmond is very small but has some solid restaurants and a great little market. Close to Bolton Valley and Stowe. The house was very comfortable and pretty much had everything we needed, including sleds in the garage! Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful house in an amazing location, secluded with a large deck and a waterfall in back yard, close to groceries, restaurants, coffee, trails and a lake. The house is spacious, full of character, sparkling clean, and well stocked up with food items & toiletries. Truly a hidden gem!

The house was perfect for our stay with everything we could want for cooking and relaxing. It had amazing views from both inside (big windows!) and outside of Shelburne Bay. The upstairs deck was a wonderful place to sit and watch the lake, all the boats, and lots of waterfowl. Sunsets were spectacular. It was very close to the Shelburne Farms and Shelburne Museum which we enjoyed. Nearby Shelburne Bay Park was a great place to walk on trails or launch a kayak if you bring one. We plan to come back!

Had some problems with the keypad initially but Jackie was responsive and very helpful throughout the process. 10/10 would stay again.

Beautiful location, certainly glad I have an AWD car to get up the hill but very worth it. Plenty of nice restaurants in the area including mad taco in Waitsfield and the reservoir in Waterbury. Absolutely gorgeous view!

This was the perfect place for us over the weekend. Everyone had their own space and the house has such great character and charm. Jolene was so kind and responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. The location is close to small restaurants and a park. The house was the perfect home base while we explored Vermont.
