Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Highland Council

Me and my parents booked this place for a night on the way to isle of skye and had the most amazing experience. The airbnb itself was way bigger than expected and was extremely clean. And then the grounds around it were even nicer. I was initially drawn in by the pool but we ended up spending the whole night in the billiard room that’s in the old refractory. The staff at the club is super nice and gives you a tour explaining all the history of the place while showing you to the room. Fort Augustus is also a really cute town to explore. overall the best place I’ve stayed so far in Scotland!!

My mom and I had a lovely stay at The Highland Club! Pros: -Wonderful property -Good location -Cozy -Well equipped -Plenty of parking -Good home base to explore the area Cons: -Beds were on the firmer side Tip: -Restaurants in the area are limited so I would recommend making reservations.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in der alten Abtei sehr geliebt - wir haben uns ein bisschen gefühlt wie Harry Potter in Hogwarts. Die Wohnung war sauber, gute ausgestattet und sehr geräumig. Die Außenanlage der Abtei ist ein Traum und der Pool ganz wunderbar!

A wonderful location at the south west tip of Loch Ness. We had a peaceful stay to celebrate Hogmanay. The Boathouse Restaurant food was great and the staff at both the restaurant and Highland Club were friendly and welcoming. The apartment was beautifully appointed with good quality furnishings and fully equipped kitchen. Highly recommended.

This place is so amazing with Loch Ness and so cool Abbey. Beautiful environment. Feeling Harry Potter life.

Fantastic stay! Great accommodation, great facilities, restaurant on site and over at the courtyard were fantastic. Hot box spa is a must if in the area!

We had a fabulous stay! Gorgeous flat, fully stocked kitchen. The grounds and public places of the Highland Club were amazing. We enjoyed sitting by peaceful Loch Ness in the evenings, as well as the easy walk into town for shops and restaurants. Highly recommend, and would stay again!

We had a lovely stay. Really spacious. We were not in the house much which was a shame. The pool room made for added fun.

This place is fantastic. House was faultless, hot tub is brilliant, and you can’t beat the location. It's only a few minutes walk into the centre of town yet we heard no noise coming from the main street. Jack is an amazing and thoughtful host. Knowing that the trip was for my wife's birthday, he'd left a gift for her and also a present for our dog. Both were delighted. Jack definitely cemented his superhost rating! We thoroughly recommend staying here and are likely to do so again ourselves.

I was staying in the area for work and Ian's place was perfect for my needs - comfortable, easily commutable, had all the facilties in place and was great value for money in an area that is highly in demand. Ian himself was very helpful, responding quickly to my queries and going out of his way to provide a chopping board when I asked. An excellent service all round * I'm glad I rebooked for my next work visit!

Eine ruhig gelegende, empfehlenswerte Unterkunft! Die Wohnung hat uns positiv überrascht – sie ist sogar noch schöner als den Fotos abgebildet. Es ist wirklich alles vorhanden, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt braucht. Die Lage ist perfekt, der touristische Ort ist bequem zu Fuß zu erreichen. Unser Aufenthalt war sehr schön und erholsam. Wir können diese Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen!

The house was absolutely stunning — everything was spotless, the hot tub was huge, and the pool table area was a great touch. The entire place had a luxurious and stylish design. We were genuinely impressed by how amazing the house was for the price. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

Franks Cottage was a lovely, cozy haven to celebrate a low-key Christmas in the rugged beauty of Skye. Ina and Allen helped us make right at home, even putting up some decorations and buying some mince pies. We appreciated the hospitality and the beautiful space!
