The house was great and there’s plenty of space, if there was anything we needed Skylar was responsive and good with communication. We will definitely be staying again.

The Tuckamore is perfect! Little things like a blanket on the couch, ice in the freezer, coffee, oatmeal, popcorn made my stay so enjoyable. Lily was quick to respond and saved me from having to search for some place to stay! I want to go back and explore Lincolnton!

Old home but well kept and up to date on the essentials. Very cozy and clean. Terry was an amazing host and very responsive and flexible when we found ourselves in a pinch. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay! The outdoor patio and screened-in porch were definitely our favorite features—we spent so much time relaxing outside and enjoying the peaceful setting. The home was also very pet-friendly, which made traveling with our dog so much easier and more enjoyable. We appreciated the thoughtful touches for pets! On top of all that, the location is great—just a short drive to downtown Hickory, which made it easy to explore local restaurants and shops. Highly recommend this spot for a comfortable, convenient, and pet-welcoming stay!

Jamie was an exceptional host! This Airbnb home is in its own beautiful private area, that is well maintained. The inside is extremely clean and very tasteful decorated; it is beautiful and well designed. We instantly felt at home. Jamie truly thought of everything when stocking this house. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and then some. Check-in and check-out were very easy. Jamie was so easy to contact and was an exceptional host!! We were in North Carolina to surprise some family members and ran into a hiccup with the venue that we were to surprise them at. Jamie stepped in and helped us keep the surprise by letting us have the family over at the house. She even left a note on the chalkboard wishing our cousin a Happy 16th Birthday! We all had a blast! We all truly enjoyed the stay at her Home Away From Home and hope to visit again in the future!

Amy’s place was perfect! Exactly as shown in photos, had everything we could’ve possibly needed, & she left water bottles on the counter for our arrival :) We had a quick one night stay and Amy’s rental was great for us.

The place was great, even though it was a very quick stay. The mattresses were very comfortable, place was clean & inviting. My wife really admired their garden and has now decided we are adding a butterfly garden to our farmstead. We would def stay again.

Loch Norm Lair is beautiful and relaxing. Great neighborhood. Just the peaceful week we needed. Rick and Judy are extremely friendly. Rick loves to share his boat and will take you for a ride. We sat and talked with them on several occasions and shared a dinner at a restaurant. The place is well cared for and a great deal, very reasonable pricing. It was a shame the sailboat wasn't working, would have loved a ride. We are already talking about a return trip in warmer weather to fully enjoy the water. Thank you so much for the beautiful week. Johnny’s place offered everything I needed and more for a night. It’s easy to walk into and around the little town Banner Elk, but it also has beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Johnny and his wife are very friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed my visit!

This apartment fit our needs really well. The building is really quiet and the amenities were nice. The apartment was quiet and we never really heard the neighbors. I think if the whole place was freshly painted and the carpet was replaced it would be ideal but would definitely stay again

I wish there were a rating higher than five stars to offer for The Spanish Studio and hosts Michelle and Esteve. This home away from home is beautifully furnished and decorated, and is squeaky clean. There are thoughtful touches throughout the space, and everything one could possibly need has been provided. The location is ideal for anyone needing to be in or near Black Mountain, Montreat, or Asheville, and the outside space is inviting and practical. Michelle and Esteve are kind and hospitable, and are model hosts.

Simon and Julia are super helpful and kind. The place was just as expected, kitchen was fully equipped, everything was clean - and beautiful views. You can hear the neighbors pretty clear upstairs - but you can’t do much about that - plus it was disclosed in the listing. So overall I give 5 stars to Julia and Simon because THEY were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING - super responsive, I will definitely be returning ❤️ p.s. my bro forgot his wallet in the bnb after we checked out and there was absolutely no issue going back to find it - they are a delightful couple.

Kyle was helpful and responsive. The place was very clean and the decorations were beautiful. My friend and I had a girl’s weekend and wanted different rooms (because we like to sleep in opposite temperature) and this fit us perfectly. We each had our own bathroom and the beds were very comfy. It was nice to have a kitchen and laundry option too. The directions were easy and Banner Elk is a 5 minute walk. The best part was the 180 degree view! I miss it already and didn’t want to leave! There were deer outside our window both days so that was a bonus. We would stay here again for sure!

Absolutely beautiful location! I’ve been wanting to check out the Art of Living retreat center and staying here was a perfect way to explore without having to attend a retreat. It’s just a short walk from the cafeteria, and there’s lots of drop in activities on the campus. It was stunning and perfect for a recharge!

I can not say enough about this beautiful little gem in the woods! It was so well decorated and all the little thoughtful additions, like a bag of local coffee and heated bed covers were just perfect and exactly what I needed for this get away to reconnect with myself and nature. I barely left the condo, because the view was so spectacular and how cozy the home felt! I was visited by a bunch of different birds on the cute patio where I painted a few of them as I sipped coffee and just listened to the breeze ruffle the leaves or rain shower that softly fell! Definitely hope to return very soon!

Trey’s place hit all the marks for what I needed - clean, cozy, comfy, and affordable. Bonus points for an amazing loose leaf tea selection, gorgeous mountain views at sunrise and sunset, and close to everything I wanted to do in the area. (Grandfather Mtn, Linville Falls, Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster were on my list - did them all in a day.) All instructions were clear and easy, and I had everything I needed for an enjoyable weekend away in the NC mountains. Go stay here and support western NC!! I hope to come back again soon :)
