Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Hiawassee

Nothing but great things to say! Our host was super nice and responded quickly when we needed to communicate! The cabin is on the side of a mountain so you get beautiful views! With that being said I wouldn’t recommend driving at night if not used to driving mountain roads and the description of the road is accurate it’s a one way with some pull off areas for traversing. You don’t have to have 4 wheel drive during non winter season but there are people with cars that live there but we wouldn’t have felt comfortable to do that. The stairs to go up to the master bedroom are steep as she said but they have a non slip grip tape on each step and there are gates at every level for children/pets. The hot tub was so nice and was already up and running when we arrived. There were towels, dishes, some condiments, and a decent amount of kitchen utensils and such. Downtown blue ridge and ellijay are both pet friendly places! Amicalola state park is beautiful with an easy hike to the waterfall.

This is the perfect place it is 7 to 15 minutes away from amazing hikes, water falls and down town as well. I was really on vacation as I didn’t have to drive far. Vogel state park is 7 min away and many of the water falls are about 10 to 15 min away. The house is beautiful the host is amazing. I will be coming back and I never like to visit the same place twice but this spot was just amazing.

We enjoyed a relaxing 3 night stay in Bobby and Dina’s beautiful, river house and they were the perfect hosts! They were very responsive to questions and even offered area suggestions including a wonderful local butcher, for our BBQ night on the deck, listening to the peaceful sounds of the river. This home had everything we needed to prepare meals, very clean and tastefully decorated. We highly recommend this home for your trip to the Murphy area and would love to return when we have more time to fish & kayak!

We really enjoyed our stay! The home and surrounding area were both beautiful. Loved having a peaceful, private place and still being just a quick drive to so many places. Would recommend staying here if you are visiting anywhere in the area!

Mario's place is a true mountain hideaway. Rustic and comfy with enough bathrooms for a large family. Big living room to gather in, and spacey enough to get some time to yourself if needed. The place is well-stocked and clean. The vibe is clutter free and relaxed, homey and spacious. Woodsy with lots of birdsong and no neighbors within sight of the house except way down the mountain far away. There wasn't really anything we needed that we didn't find...extra blankets and pillows, toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, etc. There was even a chalk marker to mark our initials on our water bottles. Really can't say enough great things about this stay, and don't have anything negative to say. Mario is an excellent host and really flexible, with very few rules other than to respect his property. Highly recommend all the way around!

Enjoyed our stay. The photos showed bedroom 3 as a queen bed but it was two twin beds. Not a big deal but a need to know. Beds were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay again. Great bbq just down the hill too!

Will be coming back to this space!! So beautiful, every detail and amenity was available and thought through. Felt right at home & was able to bring the pups! We forgot a water bowl & Lindsey had one ready for us when we got there with plenty of paw towels and doggie bags!! Also, expect a pretty steep driveway! We have a 4-WD and AWD vehicle and had little to no problems. Thank you to Lindsey for offering this amazing space !

Great location! Small cozy guest house. Parking spot was tight for our large 2500 but we made it work. Recommendations were great.

This was our first time booking Airbnb. Anne and Frank were absolutely amazing hosts. The suite was perfect, clean, and spacious. We will definitely be back. We could not have asked for a better first experience. Highly recommend!!!

We had an absolutely amazing time staying here, from the home itself to the outdoors surrounding it was exactly the peaceful, serene environment we were needing. The house literally had everything that we could’ve possibly needed cookware wise and even cleaning wise because although we were on vacation in a neat freak and with 2 boys the messes are sure to follow. Our host was so kind and responsive and gave us so many wonderful recommendations for things to do with our sons. We did not want to leave 💕 thank you so much for having us.

This place is phenomenal! Even with bad weather there were a ton of games and enough space to be warm and cozy. We have so much fun inside and out. North Georgia has beautiful places to visit and, if you like stones and crystals, fun places to do simple mining. The house is wonderful, very clean, well equipped, just bring your food. Corey, the host, is great communicator and always responds my messages quick. This was our 2nd time and we are planing the return.

Tree Oasis!! Bird Dog Lodge is perfect for a getaway. Very clean and great when traveling with pets. Bobby is super responsive and helpful. Highly recommend a stay here! We’ll definitely be back!

Nancy made us feel welcome from the start! She was so prepared for any question that I asked and made me feel that I was more than a guest - I was a new friend. Hoping to revisit with more family - the home and location are beautiful!

What a sweet AirBnb right on the Cooswattee River. Rachel our hostess was just awesome. Proactively making sure, if we were doing good. Loved the log cabin feel. Super clean rooms. Since we were only 2 people, we never used the upstairs. What I also loved was each room had extra electrical extensions which I never experienced in other Airbnb. The owners had kayaks & tubes for us to use but out of the 3 nights, we had only 1 afternoon of sun. It was crazy rain for the rest of the days but we loved the way the river raged. Loved the hot tub. Best of all we heard and saw nature from the bathtub. Deers, geese & ducklings walk past the windows & hot tubs. We also saw groundhogs to & from the cabin. To hear the peace, quietness of nature is irreplaceable. We are grateful to our host for allowing us to stay. We will be visiting many more times. Thank you!

Sauna, cold plunge & hot tub were perfect after hiking nearby. Hosts were very responsive & we had an excellent time, thank you!

After staying in some really nice properties this on stands out. I give it 10 out of 10. Denise and David are super nice people ready to accommodate any requests. The apartment is a perfect size for us and our two dogs. There's an easy walk to the lake where you can bank fish or fish off the dock. A kayak awaits the younger guests at no charge. it's quiet an very restful. We will visit again sometime in the future.

Very beautiful spot. Clean and all of the amenities needed, washer, dryer, dish washer etc. The chalet even had a Panjo which was a cute addition.

Everything was great, the driveway was a litte difficult to get up with a van but the view was well worth it. Ten minute drive to town was really helpful to have.

Wow. I don't even know what to say. If you're looking for the perfect getaway and a hidden gem, this place checks every box. What a gorgeous and fun home! The creek behind the residence is peaceful and beautiful. You're not surrounded by neighbors. It's truly a beautiful cabin hidden in the Georgia mountains. 10/10 for anyone looking to stay here. You will NOT be disappointed. The host was immensely helpful and responsive. Of all the AirB&B's I've stayed at from CA to GA, this if by far my favorite!

This is a great place to stay if you are looking for peaceful surroundings and a beautiful place to relax. This tiny home was the first we had stayed in and was pleasantly surprised by all the room. The decor was beautifully done and spotless. Jodi and Marylou are great hosts and we were so glad we were able to meet and talk with them. We have walked away with new friends! Thank you so much for the wonderful vacation and can’t wait to see you both again.

We had a great time in our STAY and Tanya‘s two bedroom one bath cottage. It was basic is exactly what we needed pet friendly important to us and very very clean and well stopped. I found Tanya and her husband to be very responsive and communicative. I came to the area because I love the mountains and hiking and this is a beautiful area of North Georgia that I have not explored with some wonderful wineries and hikes. I cannot wait to come back and bring my husband. Thank you so much for a great trip.

Beautiful view. The house was clean and Maryam was quick to respond to any questions we had. I hope to go back in the summer to enjoy the lake.
