Villa holiday rentals in Hersonissos

We stayed a week in june in this amazing villa. This modern villa has a beautiful view from the balcony. The villa is located in a calm village, with many good restaurants with walking distance. Also a shops is located near the villa. The villa has a big private parkingspace, which made it easy to explore the island by car.

Very nice new villa, with a great pool area. An outdoor kitchen with play area for the children is also available in the lower part of the complex. Good opportunity for activities. Not far to the beach.

We really enjoyed our stay. The accommodation had everything we needed. Our host was very communicative and even brought us breakfast one morning – a very kind gesture! Within 5 minutes, you can reach the beach, a café, a restaurant, and a supermarket. Other than that, there isn’t much in the immediate surroundings, but the location is perfect for a relaxing stay.

Large villa in the characteristic village of Piskopiano, about 5-10 minutes drive to Hersonissos and the nearest beaches. Very large and spacious, spread over 3 floors. It has a large living room with two sofas, a well-stocked kitchen with everything you need (fridge, freezer, stove, oven, dishwasher..) and a large covered terrace overlooking the sea. There are 4 bedrooms, one single on the ground floor, two doubles and one single on the second floor and another bed on the third floor. Air conditioning is present in only one room, in the others there are fans. There are 3 bathrooms in all. There is also a washing machine. There is also a well-stocked gym in the basement and ample outdoor parking. Host Emmanouil has always been available, helping us with airport transportation, car rental and giving us valuable tips about the island. Recommended stay!

We had an amazing stay here, 6 adults and 2 babies. The villa is beautiful and we really appreciated the separate baby pool and children's toys, as well as being provided with a travel cot and high chairs for both babies. Eleni was a great host, she was very responsive and organised a cleaner to come half way through the stay which was great. The location is good as it isn't in the main town. It is a 10-15 minute walk to the restaurants and bars in Piskopiano and Koutouloufari, the first 5 minutes of the walk is uphill. We hope to return next year!

Maria is a particularly warm and friendly hostess. She is very responsive and gave us many addresses of restaurants, beaches and places to visit. The house is nice and the beds are very comfortable. The garden and terrace are a real asset and we have taken full advantage of them: parasol, garden furniture, fruit trees providing very appreciable shaded spaces, aromatic plants. The welcome gifts were also very much appreciated. A big thank you to Maria for her kindness. We recommend Casa EleMar with our eyes closed.

Our stay was perfect all around! Upon arrival, we were greeted with a lovingly prepared welcome gift. Communication was clear and straightforward from the start, and thanks to the great restaurant recommendations, we discovered some culinary highlights. The house has plenty of space. Furthermore, there were some amenities for the kids such as a trampoline, baby chair, crib, etc. We felt very comfortable and can highly recommend this accommodation!

We were eight women who spent a week at Villa Rodea. Had an amazing time, the view is wonderful and we had an uncomplicated care by the Komos team. We'll be back.

Me and my family had a great week at Villa Aires. The house is very special - set on a mountain side with incredible views up and down the valley. The sunsets each evening were perfectly framed by the landscape and some of the most beautiful we have seen. We hired a vehicle for the duration of the holiday and I would say this is essential for a holiday here - the price you pay for the stunning surroundings is that the house is quite remote, only the local village is walkable (charming but just a couple of restaurants and a small shop on offer). A car also gives you the opportunity to explore this area of Crete which has lots to offer with beaches, history, markets, harbours, beautiful towns. As long as you’re happy with the location, this villa is a no brainer. We would stay again without hesitation!

We had a wonderful holiday. The villa is lovely and was perfect for a big family. Audrey is a great host who was so helpful throughout but especially with the challenges of the late arrival and checkout. Location is great and facilities were also great and exceeded expectations. A special mention for Wayne (the handyman), he took care of the garden, pool etc and is a bit of a legend👏. We would definitely look to book here again.

Giorgos was a great host. Flexible with our demands and very responsive whenever we had any issues. For example, we had a hot water problem, which he resolved quickly after we informed him. The villa is very beautiful with a 360 view of Heraklion and the surrounding area. It has a great living room space for social gatherings, outside tables for dining and a grill. The kitchen was also well equipped with a large fridge+freezer, dish washer, microwave oven and gas hobs. The gym was well equipped and the swimming pool water was very clean. There was a washing machine with a lot of drying space. Several of the rooms have private bathrooms. The villa was not easily reachable by foot but that is the case for most places on Crete. It had however plenty of parking space and remotely operated gates. We didn't try the jacuzzi so can't comment on that and the piano was locked. Overall our stay was amazing, we're very happy and would recommend Giorgos as a host :)

We really enjoyed our stay in Thomais´resort. Thomais did everything to make us feel welcome and welcomed us with homemade cooking and wine. Located on the mountain top the distance to shopping and restaurants is several kilometers, but excellent taxi service solved this so we dropped our plans to rent a car.

One of the best places ever stayed! The villa is just 20 mins car ride from Heraklion airport and is very easy to find. The villa is exactly as shown in pictures; very clean and with all the kitchen amenities for cooking your meals as well as air-condition and TV in every room. The garden & pool areas is just beatiful and the puff sun loungers were great for our relaxing evenings by the pool (max 1.30m deep). The two bathrooms are spacious. The hosts have filled the fridge with breakfast, drinks and healthy snacks for us and there was house cleaning after 3 days of stay. The villa is secluded - so you can really disconnect and there is enough space for family / couple / group of friends as well as parking space for at least 2 cars; lastly, the villa is in walkable distance (8mins) to Analipsi village city center, the beach promenade and couple of restaurants, pharmacy and supermarkets. Host arranged for us a great van drive to airport on fair price. I will definitely stay there again!

We had a fantastic time. The villa is stunning and had just been freshly renovated. Everything about it is designed to maximize the beautiful views, the airflow, peace and tranquility. The hosts were communicative, kind and generous with flexible check-in and out. The fantastic pool area, stonework, bathrooms, kitchen, linens, sauna/steamroom, washer & dryer, game room -- all were top quality. This was easily the most beautiful AirBnb we have ever stayed in. It was a good home base for exploring Crete. We were also happy to save one day for relaxing at the villa. We were only a family of four, and the villa could have easily held twice as many. Would love to return one day. Made wonderful memories here.

We had a great stay! The location was perfect – very quiet, yet ideal for exploring the island. Everything was clean and exactly like in the photos. Communication was flawless, they responded immediately and were very helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family!

We had an amazing stay at this villa Everything was absolutely perfect. The place is brand new, super clean, and beautifully designed. The outdoor area is such a gem - the yard is peaceful and the pool is the perfect size, with sunlight all day long. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better. It’s just 15 minutes from the airport (a huge plus!) and there are plenty of attractions and cool spots nearby, all within a short drive. But what really made our stay special was the incredible hospitality. Agron and his son were beyond helpful - they were always available for anything we needed, at any time. Truly above and beyond! They even offer a shuttle service, which came in super handy. Highly recommend this place – we’d absolutely come back!

Excellent experience! The house was spotless, comfortable and very welcoming. The location is quiet and ideal for relaxation, with absolute privacy. I would choose it again without a second thought!

Great villa, Beautiful spacious spaces. Looks really nice. Unfortunately, furniture needs to be replaced. Swimming pool fantastic. We had a great holiday in the villa.
