Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Helen

This is my second time staying here (April '24 being my first) and let me say, it's sooooo dreammyyy!!! Everything about this place, the creativity, comfortable, overall uniqueness from other Airbnbs, and stunning views were AMAZING!!! The master bedroom bathroom floor and window views are so beautiful. The laundry equipment sings to you when finished, and the hot tub was fireeee!!! The kitchen had EVERYTHING you could have in any kitchen. Top notch. Loved the floors and Nest thermostats on both levels! The communication with Ashley & Brad was next level fast and effective, super friendly and professional and extremely understanding on late checkout. My friend wanted to take a day trip that would've taken all day. I told him "You go on ahead, I need my rest time here." No one was prying me away for anytime I was there! I will be dreaming about this house for a bit as it's wired in my DNA now lol! Overall, splendid visit!!! Will definitely be visiting again!!

Nothing but great things to say! Our host was super nice and responded quickly when we needed to communicate! The cabin is on the side of a mountain so you get beautiful views! With that being said I wouldn’t recommend driving at night if not used to driving mountain roads and the description of the road is accurate it’s a one way with some pull off areas for traversing. You don’t have to have 4 wheel drive during non winter season but there are people with cars that live there but we wouldn’t have felt comfortable to do that. The stairs to go up to the master bedroom are steep as she said but they have a non slip grip tape on each step and there are gates at every level for children/pets. The hot tub was so nice and was already up and running when we arrived. There were towels, dishes, some condiments, and a decent amount of kitchen utensils and such. Downtown blue ridge and ellijay are both pet friendly places! Amicalola state park is beautiful with an easy hike to the waterfall.

Absolutely unreal stay. The views were next-level—pure Appalachian magic. The house was beautiful, spotless, and peaceful. Jeff was an amazing host: super responsive, thoughtful, and gave us great local recs. One of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had.

Barry and Tricia are both so lovely, they were always very professional and extensive with their responses which I appreciated. The house was gorgeous and very spacious. It was very clean with an amazing view of the lake behind. We met the previous owner and he was very kind as well. The only thing I could think to ask of them is to include more pictures in the listing! You are gatekeeping your gorgeous home! lol This is a worthwhile stay with a group of friends or family. This house was a perfect mountain getaway! The listing is far enough away from town that you can enjoy your morning coffee on the front porch, listening to the rooster and cows across the road, but it is close enough to amenities that you can easily pick up dinner or get groceries in Hiwassee quickly. Helen is only about 30 minutes away if you want to tube down the river or enjoy some German cuisine too! The house was very clean and the house rules were easy and reasonable. Amanda did a great job communicating check-in procedures and quickly answered questions we had before our trip. If you're looking for a cozy home away from home in the North Georgia mountains, I would recommend staying at Granddaddy's Farmhouse. We're already planning our next trip!

This mountain cabin rental was exactly as advertised. The description and photos matched the actual property. Brittany was terrific to deal with and was proactive in providing us with needed information in advance. This was a fun place to stay, and the lower level with pool, darts, other games, etc. was a nice way to spend a rainy evening. This was a good value and fair price for the property. Highly recommended.

Beautiful, amazing and perfect for a getaway with friends or romantic stay. Architecturally stunning. Great example of mid-century modern with lots of cut outs, glass and details. Not for the mobile challenged (stairs and a bit of a walk from the car parking) and lots of glass (you give some privacy with other house mates) so if that is not your thing, I wouldn't recommend it. Very quiet except when you open the doors to the waterfall. First day, some water cascading over but after a rain it was all white and mesmerizing. Beds are small but very comfortable. I was able to cook some great meals and they had a lot of items you don't always have, like aluminum foil. Took the hosts recommendation for a vineyard (distillery was the highlight) and a stop in Toccoa, GA. Just book it and enjoy.

Staying at Mill Creek Cottage was much like visiting a beloved friend’s house. We’ve stayed in some Airbnbs that were almost antiseptic and boring. Not Joan’s place! It was wonderful and quirky and comfortable - and had absolutely everything we needed. We spent five days hiking, grilling out, playing games, and just sitting on the deck watching the birds and enjoying the mountain air. If we ever head back to Hayesville I will check to see if this cottage is available!

Would definitely recommend this cabin. Super convenient to Helen, easy access, not too far up the slopes, and easy exit with the lower driveway. This is not a luxury cabin. It is compact and enough for a couple and a pet. But the value for the stay is spot on, Roy is super awesome, and I would stay again.

Great spot for a weekend getaway with my wife. Easy walk into town and cool little sitting area next to the river. Kendra was extremely helpful with fun things going on and local insight. We would certainly stay there again when back in the area! Awesome trip!

This cute little downstairs apartment was perfect for our anniversary trip! It’s a great space for two people to relax and enjoy each other’s company. We spent our mornings on the porch swing drinking coffee and at night would head into town to eat at the recommended restaurants. The place was cute, homey, and had amazing views of the mountains!

The resort is lovely! It’s a nice get away. Just keep in mind cell service is limited in this area! It’s beautiful. 😍

Loved Russ’s place cozy, private and close to everything. Russ was very friendly ma responsive. I would stay here again for sure .

The place was honestly a bit smaller than I had expected, but it was my first time ever renting Airbnb so I didn’t even read descriptions before renting, so that’s on me. Everything felt pretty comfy and my favorite part was definitely the sound of the river at night, gives an extremely peaceful vibe to the stay. It’s also a great location to find waterfalls for those wanting to hike. Excellent location, would definitely rent again.

Five Stars! I had a wonderful stay at Kimberly’s place. The location was perfect—quiet, private, and in a peaceful area that made it easy to relax. The home itself was beautifully decorated and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. It was clean, cozy, and felt very welcoming. I would absolutely stay here again if I’m ever back in the area. Highly recommend!

I enjoyed my stay. The unit is a 5 minute walk to the heart of Helen. Quiet in the evenings. They provide a book with treat information. Parking is right in front of the unit. Would definitely stay here again for sure

Great place, good management, and reasonable prices. Barely interacted with the owners, which was ideal for my group. You are trusted to check in and out without supervision. The location is beautiful, and there are PLENTY of beds.

We highly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking. We enjoyed the covered screened in porch, as it rained for much of our stay. The property is beautiful and in a great location. Damien is helpful and friendly and responded quickly. Overall this is one of the nicer Air Bnb's we have stayed in. We will definitely be back and stay at one of his properties in the future.

We had 14 women for a weekend getaway. The property is just as the photos indicate., stunning! The river is a distance away but you can hear the rush of the river clearly. The walk down to the river is not “ a walk in the park” it is a nicely cleared path down a mountainside with ropes at the steepest parts with a nice layer of gravel which helps. They provide walking sticks for 10, and I found the one I used to be very helpful ( 64 y.o.) The kitchen was well equipped and made it easy to prepare for 14 people. The living areas were very comfortable and the dining area was spectacular. The sofa beds were, well sofa beds. I probably wouldn’t plan for us to use those for adults again, but that is literally the only “con” I could find because everything else was just perfect!

We really enjoyed our stay in Bent Tree. The place was very clean and well stocked. Loved the covered decked downstairs, and the enclosed area off of it worked very well for our small dog.

We will definitely be back. Love, Love, Love Jeanna’s Place! It was beautiful and very clean! The yard was peaceful and had total retreat vibes. We were in town for work and it was so great coming back to such a restful sanctuary in the evening. The only thing to keep in mind is you do have to take your trash bags to the local recycling center so you have to be sure to plan your schedule around their operating hours.
