Family-friendly holiday rentals in Headington

We thoroughly enjoyed the house and location. Although not Sians issue, construction near the train station makes it difficult to get into town by taxi because you have to go around the city. However, if you don’t mind walking and bicycling, there are exceptional bike and walking paths right out to the house from Oxford. I’d stay again in a heart beat.

We had a wonderful week, great for the family. Perfect location to get around the Cotswolds and the hot tub was a real hit with my kids. Thank you again, we will be back!

What a lovely weekend we have just had here. Super instructions made everything a breeze. Location and accommodation was fab. Hot tub was lush and the proximity to Woodstock shops / pubs and Blenheim made this place perfect for us. Slightly quirky layout (low ceilings / beams etc) but full of character. Topped off with gorgeous handwash / hand cream and reed diffusers in every bathroom and a lovely bottle of fizz to welcome us to the house. We would love to return!

We had a lovely and comfortable stay at Liz's house. She has been very kind and really helped us enjoy our stay at her place. House was clean, communication fluent and the garden is amazing. Our kids loved playing the toys in the house

What a joy! Anna and I were here for her birthday week and we enjoyed everything from the welcome drink and chocolates to the ludicrously clean property, hot tub and close off road parking, warm feel and close proximity to Chipping Norton. All kitchen requirements on hand, fridge and freezer, washing machine and dishwasher with required cleaning materials. Hosts available but not intrusive. Did I mention the wonderful log burner? Altogether a first class place to stay whether just a couple or plus 2. We should've taken Lilly the Cat! Highly recommended, thank you. Would we stay again? Ohhhh, YES!.

We loved our stay at the house - we were five adults and so the three double rooms were perfect for us and we used the fourth bedroom to get ready (we were attending a wedding). Even better you can walk to Parks Road in town by going down the little cycleway a lovely 15-20 mins walk. We loved the feeling of homeliness and the extensive selection of plants and fab little garden. Absolutely wonderful.

It was beautiful experience. I am so glad I didn't book a hotel room. This stay made our little break unforgettable. Clearly, we had to learn how everything works, get used to boat toilet and switch engine on each time we wanted to make a coffee, but that's exactly what you get on the boat. The location is beautiful, beds comfy and I would like to thank you, Alan for a nice stay.

Nick is highly responsive to our queries and needs, very thankful for him. The apartment is very comfortable even as we stayed there for a whole month. The shower pressure is good. Would appreciate more supply of toiletries and toilet papers tho, as our stay is so long. The kitchen has lots of utensils and crockery. The Sofa bed is passable. Thought the apartment faces the side street, sound proofing is good, we weren't disturbed by any street noises at all. We actually missed this place when we went on a road trip afterwards. This place felt more homey and comfortable than the rest of the places we stayed in during the road trip.

A most pleasing cottage in a superb setting of an idealistic English village. Hosts excellent A cosy living area and spacious bedroom with adjoining dressing room leading to a superb bathroom with high quality curved glass shower cubical. In short the nicest private accommodation out of dozens we have enjoyed.

What a lovely house it was! Very clean and tidy and a great backyard to sit in. We loved our stay. Alison was a great host and answered all our queries promptly! Thanks for a great stay!

Had another great stay at the eco lodge. Ideally placed outside Wallingford in lovely countryside and convenient for the Ridgeway and associated places. The eco lodge is private with its own parking and despite the roasting weather the week we were there, it kept a comfortable temperature inside. lovely big bed, excellent space to relax and with it's own kitchen and bathroom and all the amenities you could want. Kunzi the owners friendly cat is on hand to meet and greet and the field adjacent the front of the lodge is alive with wildlife. It's a great place to relax or use as a base for exploration. Recommend Wallingford and Henley on Thames for exploration and the Ridgeway for great walking and scenic views.

Our stay at Pamela’s cabin was great! A peaceful farmhouse in a natural environment. The road in front of the house is rather busy with fast driving cars but mainly during peak hours. Furthermore a quiet area with lots of birds and flowers in our time of the year 🌺 Thank you Pam!

A quiet, quaint place with lots of light and space. After a busy day in Oxford, this was the perfect place to put our feet up. There are a lot of pubs, cafes, and restaurants in Jericho, but with a neighborhood vibe removed from the tourists in town. 10 minute walk from the station along the canal and an easy 10 minute walk to town.

What a wonderful place to stay! We had a great weekend at stable cottage, location exactly as described, beautiful setting and really comfy beds! The amenities in the place were great and we really enjoyed the log fire in the evenings. Would definitely recommend!

We had such an amazing stay at Magdalen Cottage. It was exactly as described, the views were spectacular, and I'd highly recommend the walks in the guest book. The children absolutely loved the heated swimming pool, playing table tennis and jumping on the trampoline .. great location with easy access to Oxford for fun days out with the kids. Beautiful peaceful spot in the Cotswold countryside. The cottage is spacious and well equipped with great walks straight from the door. The pool was such a fantastic asset and really added to our holiday.

A beautiful barn conversion in lovely grounds with lots of facilities, with thoughtful and helpful hosts. It was a fabulous long weekend and we didn’t need to leave the grounds to be entertained throughout, from in the pool to playing pool, it was all we could ask for.

We had a lovely stay for a birthday celebration and a small family get together. A lovely spot in the Oxfordshire countryside. We went on short walks into the woods behind the main house, but mainly stayed put to enjoy the peace of the house. Though we did venture out to sample great pub menus at the Wild Rabbit and the Bull in Charlbury. The jewel in the crown has to be the wonderful natural pool which tempted us twice over our three day stay. The barn is beautifully converted, tastefully furnished and very well provisioned. Spotlessly clean, and a warm welcome from Kate and Ben when we arrived. We can thoroughly recommend.
