Mountain Cabin & Restored Barn

EdricRating, 5 stars1 month ago
10/10! What an experience! This property is nothing like you ever experienced, unless you grew up on a farm 50 years ago. This property is not for the lazy, bougie or open-minded. If you want to experience nature, peace and bit of glamping then book “the egg” for an extended weekend. No noise or light pollution. The rushing creek sounds amazing 24/7. There are fascinating finds around every corner including the challenging corners you must drive to get here. Solar power run everything. The wifi worked great and the shower was always hot. Asheville is less than an hour away. Don is a wonderful host and answered any questions we had throughout the stay!

Sleep in a caboose: on a bison ranch

ToriRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Cheryl was so kind and great at responding. We arrived late and had to get on the road fairly early but the area was very nice. I wish we were there at a warmer time and had more time to explore the area and enjoy the other amenities they offered. We hope to come back in the summer time!

Cabin #1 on campground

ConnieRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Very cute cabin. I was solo hiking with my dog and felt very comfortable and safe. Host reached out and confirmed my arrival time and checked in w me regularly to make sure I had everything I needed. I would love to come back w other family or friends. There was a nice area where folks could gather or cook if they wanted to - very quiet and Cabin was nicely decorated- very very central to different places to hike and looked like there places to kayak nearby.. if I had a few more days

Ice Bath|Sauna| Jacuzzi | Stunning Mountain Views

CraigRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We had a great stay at the house. It was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. We enjoyed the sauna, hot tub and cold plunge. The view of the mountains was great. The location is close to downtown and lots of shopping g and restaurants; and there are many outdoor activities nearby. We had a great time hiking and whitewater rafting. It’s about a 1.5 mile walk to downtown - easy drive there too. We hope to stay again when we visit the Waynesville area.

CreekCabana: hiking, Asheville, glamping, hot tub

JustinRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had an amazing stay at the Cabana! It's cozy, comfortable, and relaxing. Check-in was simple and it was sparkling clean when we arrived. It's perfect for a romantic get away and we looked forward to returning to it every day after hiking the trails on the Blue Ridge Parkway and exploring downtown Asheville. Stephanie is an excellent host. She made several great recommendations for things to do and was very responsive with messages. We would definitely stay again in the future.

Cozy Mid-Century Cottage - Newly Renovated!

MaryRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The Red Fern Cottage is gem located close to everything in Maggie Valley. It is been decorated with love for those who love nature, history and flowers. This place reminds me of visiting my grandmother in Michigan who loved flower arrangements. Thus for a relaxing vacation this cottage will make you feel at home.

Black Bear Falls Cabin - Waynesville/Sylva, NC

MichelleRating, 5 stars2 days ago
The home was beautiful and spotless with a great view. I don't recall if the listing mentioned the trailing creek/mini-waterfall right next to the property, but the trickling water is very relaxing while on the porch. Bill was also fantastic. I had a bit of a personal crisis, and without details, he immediately understood and tried his best to assist. He went above and beyond and I really appreciated it. He wasn't just a good host, but a genuinely good person.

Evelyn, absolutely nothing negative to say! Evelyn shines with a Beautiful personality, she thought of everything! The Cabin in the Mountains sparkled clean and the Welcome of home, with relaxing atmosphere, rolling brook at your patio , kitchen and bedroom window to put you to sleep at night, on a bed that felt like a cloud, a Beautiful Haven of the grounds of flowers and fresh mint planted, Hidden Mystical items, wood at fire pit, Memories were made and also a new friend that we are Blessed to have in our lives. we miss the Cabin in the Mountains that had the mist and summer bugs singing and nature that Blessed us! it wasn't a long enough stay! if you have a chance to stay at this Cabin in the Mountains, to us you won't be disappointed, It has a lot of Blessings to share and Evelyn Comes along with it! she thought of every detail to make your stay like being at home.

“Little Black Bear” cabin by the creek

SidneyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
You won't find a better host than Greg. He helped me out when some issues arose without a second thought and is overall just a pleasant person. The cabin is only half an hour from the Smokies and many other hiking and fishing spots. The cabin is small, but has everything anyone could need and is well built. Overall, couldn't have asked for a nicer stay in SW North Carolina.

Cool Creekside Cabin

BrittRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Beautiful tiny cabin. The sound of the creek was amazing. We were not able to walk to it, too steep. But the scenery was amazing. The cabin is on the owners property, quite close, but still very private. The walk from parking to the cabin was doable but tough with luggage. Pack light! We kept most things in our car and used our back packs. They have really thought of everything and Waynesville is adorable. The bed in the loft is a futon , but we found it very comfortable. We had everything we needed and more. Rick was very responsive as well

Romantic cabin overlooking the river!!!

SummerRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Our stay at Todd and Lisa’s cabin was nothing short of perfect! The cabin itself was private, cozy, and had stunning views—we could have sat on the porch all day and night! Following Lisa’s suggestion, we did “the loop,” and it was the perfect adventure with beautiful overlooks and hikes. Afterward, we cooled off with a swim in the river just below the cabin! We also loved how welcoming they were in encouraging us to explore their property. We saw their bees, garden, and even greeted the chickens that gave us fresh eggs for breakfast! This place is a dream, and we can’t wait to come back! No hesitations—just book!

Casey Paradise Tiny Home Mountain Retreat near WCU

BonnieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Perfect little place to stay for a conference weekend at WNC…it’s literally less than a 5-minute drive from the center of the campus! Faustine was also a delightful hostess…proactively checked with me to make sure I didn’t need anything during my visit, and provided several suggestions on things to do and see. Will definitely stay here again should I need to return in the future!
