Apartment holiday rentals in Haywood County

I stayed here with my pup for a long weekend; it was the perfect retreat! Walking distance to everything, and I felt very safe even as a single female. The area is clean, spacious and full of unique furniture and paintings. Most of Waynesville is very dog-friendly, so this is the perfect place for furry family members as well! I have already recommended the location to several other friends as well! If I ever return to Waynesville for another stay, it will be here!

Alice was very responsive & helpful -she even brought a crockpot for us to use for a recipe we wanted to make. The house was very convenient to our retreat site & places for eating & shopping. It was a peaceful & quiet location & met all our needs very well . Alice also provided a delicious loaf of sour dough bread which we enjoyed gif breakfast very much!

Birdsong Cottage was absolutely delightful to stay it. It is exactly as described and pictured. It’s in a great location for walking around the lake or going to meetings in the main auditorium at the retreat center. The street it is on is very quiet and there were several wild bunnies, birds, and even a groundhog! It’s a quick and easy drive to Waynesville for some delicious local food and cute little shops. Sharon was lovely to work with, gave great instructions and replied to any questions quickly. I will for sure be staying here again.

Tom & Bri’s place is the perfect base for a mountain trip. It’s a short drive to the Blue Ridge Mountains and Pisgah National Park but located close to all of the restaurants, shops, and breweries in downtown Waynesville. The place itself is clean with all the amenities you might need. You are able to hear the upstairs tenants moving about, but this wasn’t a big issue for us as there are quiet hours which were respected. Tom & Bri have clearly put a lot of time and energy into decorating the flat and it shows. The place looks exactly like the photos and the view of the mountains from the front is exactly what we wanted. We absolutely loved our stay here!

This was really the perfect place for a weekend getaway. If you are like my husband and I, and like to explore local places to eat, then it’s the perfect size as well. The place was cozy and clean.

JoAnna's space is beautiful, private and very clean. She had an extra rollaway bed set up for me and lights turned on before I arrived, since it was late at night when I arrived. GPS wanted to take me around to the back of the house, which is up a curved hill, so that was a bit treacherous as I had to back down in the dark - pay attention so you don't miss the driveway! However, JoAnna quickly responded to my message when I told her I was having trouble finding the place, even though it was late. The fridge was stocked with waters and the coffee bar had coffee and breakfast snacks, which I did not expect. Everything was lovely. I highly recommend.

Diannahs place is so nice! I smiled as soon as I saw it. The location is perfect. Not too close to traffic but close enough to all the fun things to do. What I noticed immediately was how quiet it is. It was cool enough to leave the windows open, and you can hear the birds in the morning. The bed was very comfortable. I slept much later than I normally do. The house is spotless and you have everything you need. I absolutely loved it! I would definitely return.

This little rental was perfect for our group of 2 adult couples. The location was close to the lake, Waynesville food and shopping, Maggie valley, and a nice drive through the blue ridge parkway. Private entrance. Quiet front porch. Covered parking for one car. Everything was clean. Plenty of towels and linens.

This was the single best stay I've had with an AirBnB. What the owner has done here is unique, tranquil, beautiful. It really does make for the ultimate little hideaway for a stay in the Maggie Valley area. It is so close to the main road, and yet set back far enough that you can't see the traffic, hear the traffic, or know you're in a busy area. You feel like you're in the Mountains, which is kind of the whole idea. The cabin is immaculate, the landscaping is so well done - it just feels "right". I and my wife have every intention of using this great cabin/cottage again.

This stay is in a great location! Close to WCU campus and access to many hikes in every direction. In a super quiet and safe neighborhood in the heart of the mountains. Beautiful!

This was our third stay in the Clyde apartment. Once we found it, we won't ever stay anywhere else. It's convenient to Maggie Valley, Waynesville, and Ashville. Our granddaughter lives nearby and we come to visit with her. There is a grocery store 5 minutes away, as well as delicious Italian food in the same shopping center. The apartment is very well furnished, including the kitchen where we cooked a few meals. There is a beautiful mountain view from the kitchen window and a lovely deck out back to relax on. The biggest plus for us is we didn't have to climb up a mountain to reach the apartment as it is on flat land!

Very convenient location! The space was perfect for a quick escape into the mountains. It was comfortable for my dog and I! We enjoyed our stay.

Great place for one person to stay. The only downsides were there’s no washer or drier and the wifi was iffy. But it was very clean, homey, and comfortable. It was perfect for what I needed since I didn’t necessarily need a washer or drier during my time. I would definitely stay here again.

This was by far the cleanest place I have ever stayed at! Everything about my stay was amazing! If you want to stay at a beautiful place with great views, I would highly recommend booking with Suzanne!

The lake is so beautiful and you get a full view! We really enjoyed our stay. It is located at the top of a hill and the drive is very steep. The home is split into the Airbnb and an apartment for the host, they were not home during our stay, but it is something to note. We would recommend this space to others!

So incredibly serene. I felt at peace being surrounded by nature’s splendor. There is something very unique about the energy of their property. Very healing just being there. Will definitely visit again. 🙏

Quiet, private and close to everything. If you want a quiet getaway? This is it. You want close to downtown? This is it. You want pet friendly? This is it. You want a small family cozy experience? This is it. Stocked kitchen for cooking and eating? This is it. Porch swing and a hot tub? This is it. Don is a welcoming host and I look forward to booking again!

We enjoyed our stay in the comfy Carriage House Terrace! The terrace itself is as big as the apartment, so the outdoor space is something to take advantage of when the weather is nice. We enjoyed the hot tub and reading in the shade in one of the many choices of chairs. The neighborhood is quiet and you feel tucked away from it all. The bed is a comfy memory foam. The shower was actually tall enough for my 6'+ husband, and the TV was a bit limited with the Firestick but we brought an antenna and were able to pick up several local channels as well. The furniture is comfortable and in good shape, and there are plenty of mirrors and hooks everywhere so everyone has somewhere to put their things and you can get ready even if someone else is in the bathroom. I also appreciated the curtains and window film for privacy, and the little roof over the door for any rain. The driveway is steep but the entrance is flat and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

I had an awesome stay at here. The place was really clean, cozy, and had everything I needed to feel at home. The location was great too. quiet but still close to everything I wanted to check out. Honestly, it was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a chill place to stay!

This place was perfect for a couple nights in the mountains. A hot tub on the creek and the community kitchen were an awesome added bonus that you never would get at a hotel.

Very much enjoyed our stay. The lovely sound of the rushing river was a great background noise for sleep and not to mention a good view. Would love to stay there again.
