Cottage holiday rentals in Harrison Township

The home had a beautiful view of the river we saw a bald eagle, blue heron and an osprey. We enjoyed the fire pit ( we did get yelled at by the neighbor next door for too much smoke do beware!). We did not have time for the hot tub but glad it was available.

Was a nice quiet house perfect for a quick weekend getaway out of the city with an amazing view of a nice lake in the back. Had a great time.

The house was very cool and cozy. The art and decor were well done and it was perfectly situated for what I was in town for. Dave was very responsive and his instructions were clear. Will stay here again. Thanks for the great experience!

We stayed for a weekend trip to New Jersey Motorsports Park and really enjoyed the house. We loved hanging out on the deck using the pool table, dart board, and hot tub. Overall it was a good spot we definitely will consider staying again.

Loved this place. Couldn’t say enough about how nice it was. It actually was even better than the pictures showed. We hung out on the back deck with a hot tub and the grill and comfy chairs. Bedroom and bathrooms primo. Kitchen was so organized and stocked with equipment and utensils and everything you might need. This was important for us as we cooked almost every meal here We totally enjoyed the pool table in the basement. The host was very helpful, communicative, and responsive. We enjoyed going to local greenhouses and gardens. Highly recommend this place.

The apartment is so cute and has such character and history! It was also very comfortable and we appreciated that. The stairs can be tricky, but we got used to them and paid extra attention when walking on them. Only other challenge was a very small bathroom sink which made it hard to wash your hands or face without splashing water out of the basin. Yes, parking is hard here, but we expected that. The streets are narrow and many are one-way, so navigating them isn't the easiest. But, if you can walk or take the train where you need to go...or have someone pick you up and drop you off...it'd be a non-issue!!

The cottage is beautiful, tranquil, and very comfortable - a one of a kind place. The history of the cottage is very interesting and was part of our wonderful stay there. We, along with our guests with four legs, relished walking the serene property. David was a great host - very helpful, responsive, and nice to work with. We look forward to returning.

The property was spacious and beautiful! The hosts were incredibly kind and communicative! They even dropped us off a wifi router for the weekend, which was so incredibly kind! I would happily stay here again, what a wonderful host and home!

Very very comfy cozy cottage, close to the beach and amenities. It was nice to settle down in the cottage after a long day helping my mother convalesce from hip and knee replacement. Finally, Arielle was extremely responsive to all communications during my stay.

It was great to be back in the area and our stay added to the relaxed environment I wanted to create for my family. There was plenty of room for my husband, my toddler, my dog, and me to eat, play, and live comfortably. We especially loved the sunroom and how easy it was to visit our favorite spots in Galloway, Pomona, and Absecon. Something to note that is not a criticism of the place in particular but something people should know if that aren’t local: check for ticks a few times a day. They thrive in this type of environment.

We have stayed at this house multiple times and this visit was just as good. The dogs loved the huge fenced in yard area, and we love the privacy and quiet of the area. The freshly-cut flowers in the kitchen were an added touch this time that we appreciated. This is close to family when we come to visit, so I'm sure we'll be back in the future.

We had a great time at Rizza’s place! The location was convenient with the beach/boardwalk less than 10 minutes away, and shops just down the street. The house was clean, and well stocked with the essentials, and had a beautiful backyard to enjoy. Rizza was very quick to respond with any questions we had, and checked in on us as well. We would love to return again in the future.

An unforgettable stay! The photos simply don’t do this place justice. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away — but nothing compared to the breathtaking view of the Bohemia River right outside the window. It felt like our own private slice of tranquility. Marla was a fantastic host — thoughtful, responsive, and clearly passionate about creating a welcoming space. Every detail of the home was spot on, and the atmosphere was even better than expected. Honestly, the whole experience exceeded our expectations. We’re already looking forward to coming back — would definitely book this property again without hesitation.

We loved our stay at Bonnie’s place. The place was so cozy and comfortable. Our boys loved sleeping in the loft and we felt like we had plenty of room as a family of 4. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and the outdoor areas/views were beautiful. Bonnie and John were so friendly and easy to communicate with. Looking forward to coming back in July.

Looking for a quiet, cozy place to stay and avoiding the frenzy while attending our daughter’s graduation from UD, this was a nice find. This is a bucolic setting on an active farm. We very much appreciated their hospitality and the nice “meet and greet” session with some of the four legged residents.

My family and I stayed at Lori's for a local wedding. It was so comfortable, even with a full house! The beds are all foam mattresses and lots of pillows/blankets available (that's a big plus for me). The yard is massive and great for the kids to run around and adults to relax around the fire pit.

We had an amazing time here for our visit to Downingtown! 3 of us stayed at this lovely space, which was the perfect size for what we needed. Lots of cozy decor everywhere and feels very updated. The washer and dryer were an added bonus for the surprise rainfall we got caught in! We'll definitely be staying here again next time!

Charming little place. Great location that is an easy walk to anything in Chesapeake City….Everything was exactly as described and was thoughtfully furnished and decorated. Loved the front porch to sip coffee in the morning! Would 100% recommend!
