Modern Thai Home + free breakfast

HanniRating, 5 stars3 months ago
The host family is so nice and friendly. They cook breakfast for me everyday, and sometimes even invite me to eat dinner together. And the host prepares a bike for me to discover around, and call me cars to pick me up and drop me off both at check in time and check out time. Meanwhile they speak fluent English, which easy to communicate.

Teaky Cabin at Sanpakai Hideaway Organic Farm

BrentRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We cannot say enough about how generous and kind Wat & Boom are. They did so much for us, including bringing us eggs, farm produce, and breakfast treats, spending hours teaching our teenagers to harvest and prepare sugarcane juice and fresh coconut, showing us around their farm, and taking one of us to the hospital after a (self-inflicted) injury. The farm is beautiful and peaceful - we enjoyed this haven in nature as a travel break. We rode the provided bikes to the temple, village shops & restaurants, a cute coffee shop and around the area. We can also highly recommend the "Banthi Tour" with Mr P. (search on Tripadvisior) for a full day village experience about 15 minutes away. Staying at the farm feels a bit like glamping, with the downstairs patio, kitchen and 2 bathrooms open to the outside, and a comfortable bedroom upstairs with fans and good mosquito protection. Wat & Boom, we would like to thank you for a magical experience!

Chiang Mai Lanna Sunrise Farmstay

LewisRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Our 3-night stay at Bodge and Kanya’s countryside haven was nothing short of magical! the house felt like a private paradise – complete with a serene pond, sprawling lawns, playful dogs, swaying coconut palms with fruit. Waking up to birdsong and the gentle rustle of leaves was pure therapy. But what truly made our stay unforgettable were the hosts themselves who embody thai warmth and hospitality. Their kindness knew no bounds! Every morning, Bodge made coffee with sophisticated hands and Kanya prepared local breakfasts with so much love– steaming bowls of fragrant noodles, fried rice, fluffy omelette. We looked forward to each meal, not just for the food (which was exceptional!), but for the joyful conversations that came with it. They didn’t just host us and truly welcomed us into their world. Their attention to detail (like ensuring we get the right route to the place we went) and eagerness to share their family. We left with full hearts (and stomachs!) ! Thanks everything!

84 Y’s Thai style house /garden/pool

AmandaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I stayed in Yupa's place for over a month and would have been happy staying longer--it felt like home and is great for longer, relaxing stays. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The house is beautifully made and comfortable, and I appreciated the outdoor seating and garden spaces which made it easy to enjoy the surrounding greenery. The open kitchen is great for cooking and it's stocked with helpful appliances and beautiful ceramic plates/cups, which adds a special touch. The hosts are all very friendly, responsive, and helped with all of our questions. If you're looking for a quiet and special place to stay near Chiang Mai, this is a great option and I highly recommend it.

Great place to unplug and recharge, 30 minute drive from the city, but the farm at night is beautiful especially when they turn in the lights like in the pictures. Host was also amazing and super friendly, and it included daily free breakfast which was local cuisine and amazing.

Everything is great BUT, just one small issue about the location that the marked. It led us to to another spot few kilos away. Or it would be easier if there is an instruction to navigate to the temple near by 'Wat Thawai'.

Spicy Villa Serene Mountain Getaway

MorganRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We had an amazing time at Spicy Villa. The area is stunningly beautiful. The people are very kind, helpful and hospitable. Hoh especially was an amazing host and guide, very friendly and relaxed. He took us on the most beautiful walk and made us delicious food. Bunditto made sure we had what we needed. We slept very well, despite it getting chilly at night (make sure to pack some warm clothes). Thank you everyone!

Ping Pool Villa 1, Riverfront Private Pool Villa

akRating, 5 stars5 months ago
To celebrate the New Year, my family gathered in Chiang Mai and stayed at Joy and Joerg’s Airbnb, which was the perfect spot for our reunion. In August, I visited their place in advance, and they kindly showed me around, sharing tips on relaxation, cooking, and massages. In December, the house comfortably accommodated everyone in separate bedrooms. We enjoyed swimming in the pool, relaxing in hammocks, and having a barbecue with fresh meat and vegetables. Their delicious Thai dishes, with separate chili and non-chili plates, were perfect for our family’s preferences. Despite minor issues like rental car trouble and a family member falling ill, Joy and Joerg provided excellent support and advice. Their hospitality made our stay unforgettable, and we left with cherished memories.

Teak House Chiang Mai

JessicaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Was a really nice place to stay, me and my friends booked here for two nights and ended up extending another. It’s a really nice place, out of the city centre but its easy enough to get a grab or motorbike in if you’re renting one. It was nice to get out of the city centre and it wasn’t very touristy which was quite nice. There’s not loads to do within walking distance but again you can just use a bike or a grab. Wasn’t the cleanest but also didn’t feel super dirty, very good for the price. Bob was lovely and super accommodating, helped us with any questions we had and responded quickly, would definitely recommend :)

Cyngam Retreat- A private pool villa with service

XinanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This place is perfect for a big family with kids. The place was big enough for the kids to run around and the rooms were comfy. Air conditioning was great as well which was important for Chiangmai’s hot weather. A huge shout out to Oar for helping us with multiple requests for massage. She was always responsive and the welcome dinner was great as well. Our family of 10 all enjoyed the stay there!

Beautiful bamboo hut garden view near Pandan Field

AndreasRating, 5 stars89 months ago
Fantastic area with very beautiful plants and garden, blessed with all kinds of fruit that you get served for breakfast! The owners Khun Nong & Khun Khit are always present and know all the questions answers! Extremely friendly and also interested in yours! Family and any staff, should not go unmentioned, especially the hearty housekeeper! Right from the start, they helped us find a "decent, strong" motorcycle - Doi Inthanon - to name just a destination where you need one;) Also, it's a little outside what we wanted and were looking for!... And found 😎 The fruit piece is incredibly good, - definitely take the Thai-Breakfast!! 😍 Ideal for spending the whole day, enjoying and/or also looking at the area around!! Authentic cooking kitchens, cultivation fields including water buffalo, as well as a market(dalaat) and a temple( Wat), can be explored and marveled there! If you appreciate it, book immediately ;)
