Beachfront holiday rentals in Hampton Beach

This house is a gem! I came to stay a week in off season with my dog, Rollo. The location is breathtaking, right on the Long Island Sound. We had a great time exploring the beach, looking for all the biodiversity in the birds and sea creatures, watching the boats, and this place is relatively close to an airport so watching the planes land and take off was awsome as well. We came for privacy, and I expected the beach to be a little more private than it was due to my dog's reactivity. But the neighbors did not seem to have issues with us, and once you are close to the water, especially in low tide, the beach is pretty open for all the locals. Walking around, the locals all waved and said hello. Not too many restaurants close by, but the Lobster Shack down the road had good food! Would stay again! The deck alone was worth it!

Meredith’s cottage in Jamesport is the perfect North Fork getaway—spacious yet quaint, with incredible charm. The beach views are spectacular, offering peaceful sunrises and relaxing evenings. Meredith was a fantastic host—super attentive, thoughtful, and made us feel right at home. The location couldn’t be better: quiet and serene, yet close to everything from wineries and farm stands to local restaurants. It’s a quintessential North Fork home, and we can’t wait to return.

John’s place in East Hampton was perfect for our MDW getaway. Beautiful property, clean and cozy cottage, and very close to restaurants and bay beaches. Great area for running. John was great and very helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend!

We loved Laura and Dana’s Big Easy home by the beach. It was big and comfortable and every detail had been thought about to maximize our enjoyment. Drawers and closets and cabinets were all labeled so we didn’t have to search for anything or guess where anything was. Literally every need had been anticipated! Amazing. The beds and bedding and linens and towels were abundant and soft and comfortable. The kitchen amenities were awesome, from an air fryer, to a full set of bar tools and blender, to great appliances. The decor was happy and cheerful and creative and fun. There were so many places to sit and enjoy, both inside and out. Do not hesitate to choose this wonderful place for a visit of any length. You will love it!

The house was clean, well-decorated, had all the things we needed, and private, with a long wooded lot leading down to the bay. We women friends were totally comfortable there. When we couldn’t find the entrance to the driveway off the main road, she stayed on the phone & directed us until we found it. Excellent choice!

My friend and I had the most wonderful stay at Carey’s beautiful home. It looks just like the photos and is the perfect charming stay for 2 friends or couples. The location is fabulous—about 10 minutes to all the attractions of Southampton but also very secluded. We loved walking to the beach at the end of the road, visiting Lunch for Lobster Rolls, taking tennis lessons close by at the water mill community center, and even driving about 20 mins to Sagtown coffee in Sag Harbor. On sunny days we enjoyed reading our books out by the water. Carey was a fabulous host and was extremely communicative from the minute we booked all through our stay. For any minor things that needed attention (like a changed lightbulb or sticky doorknob), she had a lovely local handyman come by within a day, all the while communicating with us to ensure it worked with our schedule—what more could you want from an Airbnb host?! We can’t wait to hopefully return soon.

My family and I had such a wonderful stay at this house. The house was immaculate and well stocked for our stay. Matthew and Celia are great hosts. We really appreciated the basket of snacks and dog cookies that were left for us and our fur babies (Thank you!). They truly thought of everything and it felt like “home” the entire time we were there. The views from the back deck are truly spectacular. We spent many hours sitting in the sunroom and out on the deck enjoying the sights. My pups enjoyed daily walks at the sea wall park that was steps from the house. I can’t say enough great things about our stay. Thanks to our hosts for sharing their beautiful home with me and my family.

We enjoyed our stay! Such easy access to the beach was so convenient. You’re definitely better off venturing out after high tide to enjoy the most amount of beach and there are a lot of shells that make being barefoot challenging. We did arrive after major storms which could have contributed to that. The house was spotless with everything you need to be comfortable! We did not utilize the outdoor space but definitely would have if the weather was drier! Definitely would stay here again.

Fantastic location! We were literally a two minute walk from the beach. The studio apartment was as advertised and we would stay there again. We highly recommend!

Geoffrey and Thomas were very gracious hosts, filled with benevolence, they greeted us with such warmth, gave us a tour of their beautiful home, along with the complimentary beverages, providing us with resources as well as information about the island since we’re newcomers, the house was lovely, clean and serene, hot tub was amazing, we enjoyed hearing their stories about fire island as well as giving us recommendations for food, shopping and sightseeing, it’s good to know fellow New Yorkers will have your back, very happy we picked their place to stay, absolutely would come back.

An amazing stay overall. It was comfortable for 6 adults. Spencer was extremely helpful throughout our stay — I had lots of questions and Spencer was quickly responsive. The house itself is beautiful and has that eastern Long Island charm. The backyard had lots of space and is well maintained alongside the pool. We also enjoyed a sunset evening at the beach which is just a few steps away. It was a wonderful weekend and I am certainly looking forward to staying here in the future!

If we don't give a good review, can we keep this to ourselves?! Patti was a perfect host; the views were fantastic, whether from the outdoor porch or inside through the French doors looking out on the water. Access to the small beach and pool were excellent and we were close to several good restaurants (many of which Patti suggested, including some on the water) for take-out during the pandemic. Wifi was great and everything was very clean and as advertised. We generally fly for vacations and long weekends but had to stay closer to home this year and this was a perfect choice.

Allana was very easy to work with. Always answered back quickly no matter the time. Open concept and everyone was able to be together. It was a rainy stay so had to be inside. No one minded. Nicely set up for games or conversations. Thank you so much!!

Dan is the most responsive host we've ever had. Usually we got a reply within minutes or even seconds. He happily got the hot tub heated up for us when we needed it and replenished our towels within an hour of our request. That hospitality made our stay so much better. The home is beautiful! It's right on the water, and features lots of luxurious tile, a huge patio, a little dock and lots of windows and open space from which to see it all. We especially loved the hot tub. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again if I'm ever on Long Island again.

Loved Samy’s corner unit, which gave us a bit more privacy and quiet than other parts of the property. The studio was as described, with great light and well-cleaned prior to our arrival. Enjoyed use of the tennis courts every day. Only minor disappointment was that we were not yet allowed to use the pool, which we were told would be ready by Memorial Day (we were there one week prior). Still, a worthwhile stay and I’d come back and recommend it to others.

Great and responsive host. Home was lovely and we felt welcome. Host responded quickly to questions and requests. The home was very peaceful and relaxing. We really enjoyed the outdoor patio and pool area. I would recommend for a peaceful time away from the city.

Had a nice stay here with a group of people attending a wedding a short drive away.

We enjoyed a great long weekend during my son’s graduation. The house is an easy drive from New Haven (15 min tops, maybe less) but feels far away. The location on the sound is lovely - nice views, easy swimming, sea breeze. And we had plenty of room for grandparents and siblings - really an ideal spot for a multigenerational grad weekend. Other comments have mentioned the flight path to Tweed airport. It’s definitely noticeable when planes take off or land, but it’s a small airport so we only had a handful of departures / landings each day - for us at least it was not a big deal at all.

We had a great time at the house. Grill was brand new and Anthony made sure it got set up right away and the propane connected. Beautiful property and location was perfect for wineries and town. Really appreciated the stay and would love to return. Anthony communicated every step of the way and answered all questions which didn’t go unnoticed.

My sisters and I had a wonderful stay at Tami's house. This place has sunrise AND sunset views which are absolutely beautiful in a crisp winter sky. The kitchen provided everything needed to cook a gourmet meal and there is no lack of places to eat if you prefer to go out. The location was perfect for relaxing, and the neighborhood felt safe. Tami was responsive and made sure everything went smoothly. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the East end and would love to stay there again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay at Sue's and Danny's place. The beach is very special with beautiful sunsets, and the cabin is equipped with everything we needed for our stay. A great weekend getaway!

Loved our stay here! The apartment was very clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed. Excellent location - nice view and very walkable both to Sono and East Norwalk. Communication was easy and clear, thank you! Only thing I would note is that there is a flight of stairs to get to the entrance which was a little tricky with our luggage and stroller (we were traveling with a baby) - didn’t detract from how great our stay was, and would still book again despite that.

Loved our girls’ getaway on the North Fork! Mae’s house is the perfect spot with a quick walk to the beach and gorgeous views right from her backyard - even close drives to beautiful Southold, Mattituck, and Greenport. I will absolutely stay again!

Upon walking in the door at Linda’s place each of us looked around, exhaled and smiled at each other as if to exclaim, “It’s amazing!” The setting - right on the water - was stunning and expansive. Whether it was the early mornings on the deck with coffee or the late night views of the moon reflecting on the water - we soaked up the tranquility. Comfortable furnishings, all the needed amenities (the coffee maker made my coffee just the way I like it) — we loved cooking and barbecuing together; had a great movie night with the huge big screen tv, as well as just enjoyed some quiet time reading on the deck. Many times during the stay and several times since our departure my family remarked how much they loved the place. We came for a week for my niece’s graduation from Yale and already we hope to return when she visits her friends that are still students. Linda is an excellent and communicative host; all needed info provided, we had no issues to solve. Until the next time!
