Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Hamilton

We loved our stay at Vicky's place and didn't want to leave!! Was exactly what we were after for our stay and so relaxing to retreat back there at the end of our busy day.

We absolutely loved our stay. Nathan was incredibly welcoming and allowed us to use his place for our small wedding ceremony. It was the most amazing day and we really enjoyed our entire stay. Thanks again Nathan!! We will always remember this beautiful space that we held our special day at. ☺️

I stayed 3 nights here while on a vacation. I can’t say enough good about Peter and this rental. Great location, clean, spacious, well stocked with all the right amenities and fast WiFi. It was serene and relaxing, with especially good views. Hot tub at night was a nice touch. Peter bringing “brekky” at a time of my choosing was the icing on the cake. If I’m ever in the area again, I won’t even consider staying anywhere else.

Such a lovely weekend — I only wish we had stayed longer! The surroundings were absolutely beautiful and incredibly peaceful, making it the perfect spot. The house was compact yet thoughtfully designed, with everything we needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the shower was wonderfully hot — just what we needed. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and cozy getaway.

We had a fantastic stay at Brenton's place! It is beautifully styled and has everything you need at the same time. The linens and towels are all high quality, with a comfy bed. The sauna was a real treat! The place was super clean on arrival too, right down to the leaves in the backyard being cleared. Location is good with close proximity to the MADE shops and Hamilton Gardens, both of which we really enjoyed. Added bonus is the cat Whiskey, super friendly and affectionate but has her own space to go of a nighttime so you can interact with her as much or little as you like. Overall a great stay.

Our stay at this incredible retreat was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the modern design, incredible spaciousness, and overall warmth of the home. It is impeccably kept, beautifully designed, and stocked with every amenity we could possibly need—truly a home away from home. Visiting many beautiful places in New Zealand, simply spending time in this home became a massive highlight of our trip. Whether we were enjoying breakfast on the patio or taking a dip in the pool, every moment felt like a five star retreat. The surrounding area is breathtaking, with lush greenery, rolling hills, and peaceful views. It feels like a true escape however it is just a short drive from the city, shopping, and freeway making it the perfect balance of relaxation and convenience. Our hostess Tracy was an absolute gem—so welcoming, accommodating, and genuinely kind. She went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care. We will absolutely be back!

We had an amazing weekend getaway at Andrew’s place. It had great views and we loved that it was a very private property. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor amenities such as the spa pool, firepit the BBQ. The host was also very responsive and we had no issues during our stay. Thank you Andrew

Wow what a gem of a place, very homely, relaxing and peaceful. The views were fabulous and very close to Cambridge by car but felt like a country oasis. Super comfy beds and had everything we needed and more. The wee pool was so good in the heat of our summer stay. Loved visiting the chickens and enjoying the lovely gardens. Loved my recent stay at Mandy’s for my birthday. Mandy was super helpful, was flexible with an early check-in (even though we ended up being late!), friendly and quick to respond. We made great use of the outdoor tub and fire pit, so lovely looking at the stars while having smores! Comfy bed, clean bathrooms, love the wood smell of the cabins, and enjoying a coffee on the deck in the morning. Very handy to Hobbiton, which was our next destination. Would definitely stay again! 😊

Louise and Aaron were incredibly thoughtful hosts. They had already prepared the hot bath for us before we arrived, and soaking while watching the stars and the Milky Way was such an unforgettable experience! Louise also shared her experience of taking care of the farm, which was really valuable for people like us who are planning to move to a farm in the future. What touched us the most was the fresh “happy eggs” she gave us—something I’ve never experienced at any other Airbnb. It truly made my day. The house itself feels like an escape cabin, surrounded by nature, with no light pollution and complete tranquility. The mountain view in the morning was just as stunning. We’re already looking forward to coming back again!

We had the absolute best girls weekend stay here! We didn’t want to leave! The outdoor baths and fireplace were amazing to enjoy under the stars and created such a cozy atmosphere. The special little touches were so thoughtful and added to the experience. Brittany and James were so accomodating and friendly and we couldn’t recommend this place enough! The bed was like sleeping on a cloud! 100% will be back.

What a peaceful place to stay with a calm setting, a nice surrounding with a few trees, a couple of sheep and some birds chirping away. The spa is a delight and the host went the extra mile with supplies to make the stay that little bit better, and the communication was fantastic. Bonus it's only 22 mins away from Hamilton! Will happily stay again.
