If I could give Leigh-Anne a 10 star review, I absolutely would. My husband and I were traveling from the states on our honeymoon, never having visited the Netherlands and not really being travelers, period. We honestly had no idea what we were doing - Leigh-Anne jumped in and was so kind and helpful. She was so clear in describing where the Airbnb is, not leaving out any important details of how it was on an island, needing to travel to and from by ferry, how often the ferry ran, etc. Luckily we are not big nightlife people and booked the cottage for peaceful refuge and that is just what we got. My husband and I are animal/nature lovers, so the fact there are goats and a rooster were icing on the cake. There are endless fields with wildlife, flowers, cows that you can see from the bedroom window when you wake up and a nice set up outside that is perfect for enjoying some coffee with the goats and birds. De Woude is so cute and quaint. THANK YOU for sharing your space, Leigh-Anne! 🫶🏼

Das Hausboot selbst ist ein Traum und supergut gelegen, wenn man einerseits die Schönheit und Ruhe des Landes, Schäfchen und grüne Wiesen vor der Haustür liebt aber andererseits auch gern mal an den Strand oder in die Städte fährt. Die Bahn ist schnell erreicht und das ist bei der Parkplatzsituation in Amsterdam ein großes Plus. Leonora und Erwin waren leicht zu erreichen und immer für uns da, wenn wir Fragen hatten. Supersympathische Gastgeber! Vielen Dank, ihr Lieben!

A lovely 3 generation holiday that had something for everyone. The cabin was spacious and spotless.We all had bikes and it was a perfect place to explore.We would highly recommend Wander Island for picnicking and swimming.We all would have liked to have stayed longer.

We had a great stat at Karina’s boat house. It is probably one of the more unique locations we’ve stayed at. From the Central traine station you jump on the free ferry across the channel and then walk for about 5 mins to get to the boathouse. There are bars and restaurants close to the hose. On the same street as the boathouse is the ONS restaurant/bar which is really worth a stop. The boathouse is small but it has a small kitchenette and a roomy bathroom. There is a terrace right outside the door that rests on the water. Beautiful place to have a morning coffee or an apperitif in the evening. The sleeping arrangements were fun and definately something new for us. Somewhat nostalgic as you climb a ladder to get up to the bunkbed like mezzanine bed. Felt like a kid again! The neighborhood is quiet and tucked away from the hussle and bussle of downtown Amsterdam. Yet it only takes a quick walk and a 4 mins ferry ride to be right in the middle of everything. Highly recommend!

Ankommen und sich wohl fühlen: herzliches Willkommen, kurze Einweisung und Tipps. Privates Refugium mit schöner Terrasse und kleinem Garten nach hinten raus zum Wasser. Umgeben von Wasser, tolle Natur. Individuell da man die Fähre nehmen muss um hinzukommen ( 2min)- unkompliziert. Wir haben das Haus als Paar genutzt und alles vorgefunden was wir für einen schönen Kurzurlaub benötigen. Empfehlenswert

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt bei Melwin. Wir wurden mit Apfelkuchen und Sekt empfangen. Die Unterkunft sieht genau so aus wie auf den Fotos. Es ist alles vorhanden was man für einen Kurzurlaub benötigt. Alles war sehr sauber. Die Kommunikation war sehr freundlich und schnell. Von der Unterkunft kann man Strand, Bahnhof und Innenstadt super zu Fuß erreichen. Sehr zentrale aber auch sehr ruhige Lage.

Die Lage war sehr gut, man ist in 3 Minuten am Strand. Es war sehr ruhig gelegen. Gute Busverbindungen für die die mit dem öffentlichen Verkehr kommen. Am Parallel Boulevard jede Menge tolle Restaurants plus eine Einkaufsmeile. Nicht so große Muschelauswahl am Strand, aber wenn man morgens früh aufsteht hat man bessere Chancen. Wunderschöner ebener Strand gut geeignet für lange Spaziergänge.

Logement correspond bien à la description. L’emplacement est idéal pour visiter Amsterdam car la gare d’Abcoude est à 5 min en voiture et le parking gratuit. Le logement est propre et calme. Je recommande car le rapport qualité prix est parfait

Wir waren mit der Unterkunft rundum zufrieden! Alles war sauber, gemütlich und wie beschrieben. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit – man hat sich direkt willkommen gefühlt. Besonders toll fanden wir, dass man kostenfrei Fahrräder ausleihen konnte, um die Umgebung zu erkunden. Ein echtes Highlight war auch die Möglichkeit, mit dem Boot über den Kanal zu fahren – das war ein schöner Aufenthalt. Wir würden die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne wieder

Wir hatten ein wunderbares Wochenende bei Justin. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt und alles war sehr sauber. Von der Unterkunft aus kann man gut Ausflüge nach Leiden, Den Haag oder ans Meer machen. Die Unterkunft liegt sehr privat und ruhig. Justin hat immer schnell auf unsere Nachrichten geantwortet und war flexibel bei Check-In und Check-Out Zeiten. Ich werde die Unterkunft weiter empfehlen! 😊

Els war sehr flexibel, was die Anreise anging. Sie war äußerst zuvorkommend und sehr sehr aufmerksam in Form von kleinen Annehmlichkeiten wie Getränken und Snacks. Sogar Fahrräder wurden uns zur Verfügung gestellt. Wir waren positiv überrascht.

Spent a couple of days in Wouter‘s tiny house and had a really good time! Wouter is a good communicator and we felt very comfortable! The place is clean and cosy and equipped with all things you need for a stay in Noordwijk! Would 100% recommend!

Es ist wirklich eine tolle gelegene Unterkunft in mitten eines schönen Villenviertel etwas außerhalb von Amsterdam. Trotzdem kann man die Innenstadt gut mit dem Bus erreichen. Für uns als Gäste, die mit dem Auto angereist sind perfekt. Und spart sich teure Fahrkosten, spart sich teure Hotelpreise und ist trotzdem schnell in der Innenstadt. Es ist alles sehr liebevoll gepflegt in mitten eines schönen Gartens. Ein tolles ein Zimmer Apartment. DAX ist ein super Gastgeber, der sehr schnell und sehr informativ reagiert hat und wirklich hilfreiche Tipps gegeben hat.

I had an amazing time at the cabin. I am a florist and I came from the USA for the flowers and to learn as much as I could about them, the farming, the flower auctions & the marketing and advertising while I was here. I was traveling solo and her cabin is a perfect location for it all and I felt safe there through out my stay. I also loved the fact that I had the quiet woods and farmland surrounding me but could also be at the beach in a blink of an eye! She was an amazing host with the biggest heart and wonderful recommendations. I so wish to come back one day with my daughter. The cabin and The Netherlands have my heart now! :) Thank you for an amazing trip. P.s.- If you plan to stay here, maybe bring a flashlight because the trail in the woods to the cabin can get a little dark at night! ;)

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in dem liebevoll eingerichteten Gästehaus. Es ist alles vorhanden und in der Wohnung alles selbsterklärend beschrieben. Das Gästehaus ist sehr sauber, das Doppelbett sehr gut und alles praktisch und schön eingerichtet. Die Lage ist top und ein kostenloser Goßparkpkatz nicht weit entfernt. Nel ist sehr zuvorkommend, schnell erreichbar und antwortet auch sehr schnell. Katwjik ist auch sehr schön, vor allem der Strand mit den ganzen Beachclubs. Check in war sehr einfach mit Schlüsselbox. Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Petit logement cosy et cocooning, avec des hôtes accueillant et chaleureux, et discret. Vélos compris dans la location qui permet une petite balade aux alentours. Face au canal, l’atmosphere est paisible. Le vinyle donne un charme supplementaire au logement. Je remercie Jacqueline pour les petites douceurs dans le frigo. Une superette dans la ville permet quelques petites courses à velo. Nous nous sommes senti très bien pour deux nuits chez Jacqueline et Piet.

5 star Location and communication for sure! Jeroen was super kind and allowed us to check in earlier which was a HUGE blessing after hours of travel with very little sleep. He allows us to rent his bikes, which made it so easy for a nice bike ride from where we stayed. I would highly recommend this sweet spot, especially in spring. We missed the tulip season but this is a great location if tulip viewing is on the agenda. The only thing that I would make visitors aware of is the small bathroom, especially the shower. It’s manageable, but very little room for movement 🙃

This little wagon was wonderful. I fully enjoyed myself, the bed was comfy, kitchen and bathroom had everything i needed, the garden was gorgeous! Sadly, i didn't have time to kayak but i got a lot of use out of the bike (went to the beach, to Haarlem, Amsterdam, ...) which was a real highlight of the trip!

It was really nice staying at Albert’s place. The location is very near to schipool airport. The connectivity is very good from the house. Would recommend Albert’s place.

Schöne, kleine Unterkunft direkt am Wasser. Rik hat auch Hühner, einen Hasen und ein Schwein. Das hat den Kindern besonders gefallen. Da es sich um ein TinyHaus handelt, nur bedingt für kleine Kinder/Babys geeignet (Leitern und Stufen kann man nicht absichern). Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt und kommen gerne wieder

Wir hatten eine unvergessliche Zeit! Die Unterkunft ist wirklich ein Juwel und durch den Zugang mit dem Boot sehr besonders. Die Unterkunft ist von ihrer Ausgangslage super. Zum Strand nach Noordwijk haben wir 20-25 min mit dem Auto gebraucht. Aber auch Haarlem ist in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Ein besonderes Highlight war das Boot, welches mit einem kleinen Motor ausgestattet ist. Sind an einem Morgen ein bisschen durch die Gegend gefahren und haben die Umgebung erkundet. Das sollte man auf jedenfall tun! Selbst bei schlechtem Wetter war es schön und gemütlich. Durch die kleinen Dachfenster und das große Fenster gegenüber vom Bett schaut man raus zur Natur und hat das Gefühl in einem kleinen Wald ganz einsam und verlassen zu sein. Unser Hund hat sich ebenso wohl gefühlt und wurde morgens von seinem neuen Freund (Hund von Frans und Yvonne) begrüßt. Wir waren nicht das letzte mal da! 👫🐶
