Holiday rentals with a kayak in Gulf Shores

This was a great place for us - we had a wonderful time - it's centrally located and in a quiet neighborhood, on a canal where you can fish and trap crabs.... we just had so much fun sitting out and enjoying the deck and also watching the guys fish. Krystal was very gracious and was a great host. They have items you wouldn't normally have access to such as items for toddlers and children, which was nice so as to not have to travel with bulky items you will always need for a toddler. Our grandson LOVED being outside. We loved our time there, being able to visit with family at the house and in the Milton area. We definitely plan to rent again when in the area. Thank you for everything! It was a wonderful time.

This is home away from home! Very clean and comfy. We hung out in the sun porch most of the time, played games and had so much fun. The area is beautiful and quiet. The kitchen was well stocked with spices, oil, vinegar etc. and there was coffee and creamer! I really appreciate this, you will not find this in most AIRBNB, s.

The house was perfect for our group of 6 adults plus a baby. May was very responsive and helpful! Great mellow family beach -- access is right across the street. The house was clean and comfortable. Thanks May!

Charlotte was very responsive on such short notice! We found ourselves in a last minute lurch, and she quickly worked magic on her end to help us out (and on a holiday weekend)! Inside the home was pristine like pages out of Pottery Barn, so comfy and filled with all the amenities needed. Right on the water with a porch, Adirondack chairs and a dock, it was the definition of a peaceful relaxing escape. We will definitely check this out when we come back! Thanks Charlotte!

The house is super cute and cozy. The pier is a little unstable and definitely not safe if you have small children (we didn’t, but just FYI). We caught a few gafftop and a black tip shark from the pier. It was a nice, quiet little getaway.

Perfect place to relax. The house was very clean and had everything we needed and more. Very quiet. Watched the sunrise every morning and they did not disappoint. Fishing was great! Caught loads of catfish, some stingray, keepers were 4 black drum, 1 redfish and 1 spotted trout. Crab traps were fun, caught a total of 12 keepers. We stayed outdoors for most of our week. We will definitely be back.

Our family had a blast, the place is private, just as described and close enough to the beach and other amenities. we enjoyed the waterfront, kayaking and making s'mores in the fire pit at the back porch. Well worth it.

The Crystal Lagoon Beach House was absolutely perfect for us. House was perfectly located and an easy walk to the beach and a couple of restaurants. The pier out to the bay was exactly what we needed to wind down each day. Adam was a great host and was very easy to work with. Highly recommend.

The pictures are beautiful on the listing, but it’s actually better in real life. Just beautiful, the debt goes all the way around the house. You could always find shade and cool breezes everywhere. We didn’t have to leave the house for the sunrise and that was really beautiful. The canal was so fun to have right there. We weren’t sure how much we were gonna be using the canal but we used it a lot! The beds were great. And I love how they have nice toilet paper, it seems like a little thing, but we love good toilet paper. 🤣 We will be back.

We had a great trip.! Extremely accommodating for our family of four. We came for a fishing trip. They have kayaks we all enjoyed taking out to the bay. Caught several different types of fish, and even seen some dolphins one evening. Far enough away for a peaceful vacation, yet close enough to drive to the beach for the other fishing we did. Great stay.! Fantastic hosts.!

Such a cute cozy place! My boyfriend and I loved the decor and it was so clean!! Kimberly was in top of everything she’s such a great host. Definitely book here so worth it. The beds are so comfy too you will sleep like a baby!

Absolutely loved this stay! The pictures do not do it justice, it was beautiful! The house smelled and looked great right when we stepped in. Meredith was such a great host! Super responsive before and throughout our stay! She went above and beyond for our stay this weekend! I would 100% book again! This stay was amazing and I was so sad to leave. Our arrival to Camellia Cove felt like stepping into a dream. We were welcomed with freshly baked cookies & a sweet note along with a lovely selection of drinks & snacks. This place is very special & hard to even put into words, you really just have to experience it. It's very clear to us that Teresa & John have poured so much love & devotion into this amazing property inside & out. The home's furnishings were not only beautiful but also incredibly comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could possibly need. Every corner of this peaceful retreat exuded comfort & care. We especially enjoyed the screen porch & hot tub during our stay. Fannie the golf cart was an added bonus. Our host's thoughtful touches & great communication made our stay unforgettable. The charming location struck the perfect balance between secluded paradise & nearby adventure. This property is truly a gem & we highly recommend it. This was more than just a place to stay—it was a home away from home.

My family and I had an absolute amazing time. I don’t think we could have found a better place! The cottage is FULLY equipped- not a thought was left out. The kitchen was stocked and had a few things commonly forgotten/don’t have when traveling. Plenty of blankets, pillows, comfortable beds, beach towels, etc. Also came with 2 kayaks and all the things needed for the beach (chairs, toys, etc). Plenty of very comfortable outdoor seating including a comfy hammock. This house had it all. Watching dolphins and other wildlife while sipping coffee on the deck was the best part of it. The neighbors were very quiet. Daniel and Juli were promptly available for anything we needed. A perfect stay! Will be back!!! Thank you!!

hosts was wonderful. hosts kept us informed through the whole process. Cabin was beautiful, good mixture of vintage and modern furnitures,well maintained. Our host was friendly and welcoming.. The area was peaceful and quiet.

I booked Stephen’s place for my parents for their honeymoon and they loved it! They enjoyed the privacy, simplicity and peacefulness of the cabin and they loved sitting on the dock. Stephen was also super helpful and accommodating with checkout.

Stayed here while evacuating from Hurricane Milton. Check-In process was super straight forward, the hosts were very understanding of our situation and allowed us to check in early after we drove 8 hours from the Tampa area! The cabin was charming and relaxing. Good internet and environment to get some work done. Plenty of activities to do on-site. Great views of the water! We were even able to use the kayaks at the stay. The fishing was great too, we were able to catch over 45 fish in the 3 days we were there. While there was plenty of stuff to do on-site, everything you need is within 5-10. The beach and great restaurants are super close. Definitely will be coming back under different circumstances!

Shawn’s place is a great place to spend time. My wife says she feels right at home staying there. We have actually stayed there several times . I would highly recommend this place for a peaceful vacation. Shawn is a great host.
