Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Guerneville

My sister and I stayed at Tree Fort for a week in June in order to decompress and relax. The house was PERFECT!! Highlights...smart home, extremely peaceful surroundings, responsive Host, lots of spaces inside and outside of the house to chill and relax, and connect with whoever you're traveling with....plenty of sleeping spaces -- even 1 with a private entrance, thoughful and lovely landscaping and lighting around the house, LOTS of natural light, nifty dish washer. It felt like every aspect or feature of the house was well thought out and intentional. We would DEFINITELY stay there again and will recommend it to friends and family. The only MINOR downside is the narrow road you take to reach the house. It might be a bit unnerving for some but my sister drives a small car and we were fine. Other guests mentioned rooster crowing in the morning and some barking dogs. I heard it a couple of the days but it didnt disturb my peace in any way and my sister didnt hear it at all.

Gordon’s home was incredible! The drive up to the home is beyond stunning and when you walk through the gate of the property it felt like you were in another world entirely! The views off the deck, the garden, the hot tub and so much more were all magical! Inside the home also made you feel right at home! The added sound system you could connect to inside was delightful as well! Their love and effort put into this little getaway spot definitely shows. Had a 12/10 experience with my partner! Can’t wait to visit this place again! Purely spectacular!

We had a wonderful stay with our pups! They had plenty of room to run around the fenced in yard. We walked to the nice beach along the river. The hot tub was the perfect place to unwind after a day at the river. The beds were super comfy and the shower was hot. We highly recommend Hilda’s beautiful home and would love to stay again!!!

My family really enjoyed the uniqueness of the home. Driving into the neighborhood during the summer night was a great experience. Host communicated well and the place itself had everything my family needed. The neighborhood is basically built into the hillside but there was adequate parking for 4 cars.

My girlfriend (now fiance) and I loved this home. It was beautiful to wake up and look in the backyard and just see a vineyard everyday. Pretty much has anything and everything you could think about needing at a home! The grill and hot tub were great to use! We took this time to celebrate our anniversary while also getting engaged at a winery nearby. The drive to the town was short and there was a gas station just right before going in. The privacy of the location is great and really gave us that comfortable setting to where we could be ourselves.

Hilltop Haven is very cute. Perfect for our weekend stay. Well-appointed kitchen, loved the deck. Private and quiet neighborhood.

Such a wonderful spot! Had everything we needed and it was so clean! Staying right among the vines was amazing. The beautiful gardens, fire pit and bocce were awesome, so much space on the property. Lastly, it was within 15 minutes of every tasting we went to, even closer to downtown Healdsburg. Such a special little place ☺️

Great property in a great location. Lots of room for our family and we loved walking down to the beach and the playground. Bonus, the place is filled with top-notch books.

Amazing retreat in the Redwoods - the property is quiet, has beautiful views of the redwoods with both outdoor sun and shade spots, and has a cool interior. Pool was perfect for cooling off on a hot day. I would stay again! We stayed in May, and while the yard was mowed, it had a type of grass that was very prickly so not barefoot or dog friendly - so we weren’t fully able to enjoy the expansive yard space.

I almost don't want to tell you how good this place is, so we can rent it again sometime. :-) But it's that good. We visited over spring break with our daughters, eight and 11, and had one of the most amazing stays we've ever had at an Airbnb. The home, the land, the pool, and the local area are all 100% amazing. And the sunsets. You know how you sometimes stay at Airbnb's where you feel like the hosts did the bare minimum to qualify to list it? This is *not* that place. There is everything you need and more. We really enjoyed our stay at the Happy House! The pool was large and fantastic, perfect for relaxing. The kitchen was beautiful and very well stocked with everything we needed. The house was spotless, and the neighborhood felt quiet and safe. Both the garden and front yard were lovely, and the pool area was especially private thanks to the high fence. Brook was incredibly friendly, always checked in to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay, and promptly answered all our questions. She was very helpful throughout our visit. Highly recommend!

I loved this place. It was beautifully decorated and had amazing views. The pool was an added benefit on hot days! It’s somewhat small for a group because it only has one bedroom but still worth the experience.

This was a beautifully designed and comfortable home. Kitchen fun to cook in! Comfortable bedrooms. Swanky showers, fireplace. Very peaceful. Quiet. We loved it.

Griselda was a wonderful host. Our stay was super last minute and she was very accommodating, responsive and flexible. The location was perfect. We came to hike in Armstrong Redwood Park and her place was only about a 3 min drive there. It was also a three minute drive from the downtown so great location. Beautiful house with lots of space and a huge yard. I'd love to come back in the summer when we could use the outdoor space more, but the hot tub was perfect for the winter.

Matthew’s home exceeded expectations and was incredibly cozy, private, spacious, clean, and spa-like. It was luxurious! It was very pet-friendly, I brought my Labrador with me and he loved lounging on the deck. The weather subsided (though I love the rain) all day Friday to allow for an entire day outdoors! The hot tub was clean and instructions were easy to follow. I loved that Matthew included local recommended spots to check out— I went to Russian River Brewing and Pacific Markets— both great spots with ample walking areas. The home decor is unique and has such character and charm without feeling like you’re stepping into “Magnolia Farms”— so far from it! There are beautiful works of art, antiques, classic and contemporary books; it’s lovely. Matthew is a responsive and kind, generous host. I found my stay tranquil and will be staying again as well as recommending to others! Matthew, thank you for providing a wonderful space for others to enjoy! All my best! Kaitlin & Buddy.

We are repeat guests and love staying here every time. It’s deeply relaxing and so expertly curated for a wonderful stay. From the pool to the outdoor shower/tub to the thoughtful welcome gifts to the cleanliness protocols to the modern appliances, we never lack for anything when we’re here. It’s close enough to several towns that you can easily take day trips/go out to dinner but you may not want to. We stayed in several nights to just recharge. Such a peaceful, serene space. Pour over/French press coffee and tea provided. The pool was the perfect temperature and watching the various birds/dragonflies visit the fountains was so wonderful. Numerous great spaces for curling up with a good book. Clean, comfortable and great communication…definitely a 5 star stay every time!

We had a very peaceful stay at Alexandra's. The cabin is bright and cheery, thoughtfully and tastefully appointed. We had everything we needed and were very comfortable, with the exception of one unseasonably hot day (in the 90s), when the fans were not enough to keep us cool. It cooled off at night though, and I imagine temperatures are cooler most of the time. Overall, a great place to stay while exploring Sonoma.

Our family enjoyed our stay at Sarah’s place. Access to the river was a very short walk from the home. The house was clean and clear of clutter.

Ryan and James were available and responsive. The cottage was well appointed and immaculate. It was obvious that quite a bit of thought went into the amenities and decor. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The views! Looking over the Russian River where it empties into the Pacific Ocean was awesome! We will be back.

I had a wonderful stay at Kerri’s place for work. The fully fenced in yard was perfect for enjoying the dappled sun poking through tall redwoods onto moss and little Japanese maples. It’s always a pleasure staying in this neck of the woods, and Kerri’s place was clean, quiet, and extremely comfortable (beds were incredibly cozy). Kerri was very responsive and helpful too. Highly recommend

We thoroughly enjoyed our family reunion redwood getaway at Blake’s lovely home. An easy, comfortable, bright and thoughtfully appointed space, inside and out, including a separate table to set up a 1,000 piece puzzle! Blake is very responsive to all quieries. The location is great for lazy days at the river, a walk through Armstrong Woods, and an amazing meal at Hazel’s in Occidental. And if you are carnivores, don’t forget to pick up outstanding treats at Panizzeria Meat Market. If ice cream is your jam, fantastic, unusual flavors at the Bank ice cream shop and museum in Guernville

We had a great stay at Adam’s place in Monte Rio. The beds were both very comfortable, and the whole space felt really welcoming. The property is beautiful — the landscaping is well cared for, and the herb garden was such a nice touch for cooking. The kitchen had everything we needed, plus a great selection of cookbooks. The hot tub was a definite highlight, and the view of the river made the beautiful backyard even better. We loved being able to swim and kayak in the water, and the neighbors were friendly too, which added to the relaxed vibe. Would definitely love to come back!
