We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful spot! The location was perfect—secluded enough to feel peaceful and private, but still conveniently close to town for anything we needed. The outdoor space was truly the highlight: a cozy grill area for dinners under the stars, a spacious deck for lounging, and the jacuzzi was an absolute dream after a day of exploring. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully arranged. Would definitely come back!

"The Shack" is a wonderful place, charming upon arrival and with everything you need for a restful getaway at the Russian River. I can definitely see myself renting it again. The location among the redwoods is serene and private with very usable and beautifully maintained outdoor areas, while being a short drive to the river and downtown Guerneville. The indoor space is equally comfortable and well-organized and spotlessly clean, with a big airy living space, kitchen and dining, and two bedrooms with comfy queen beds. The hot tub was a total bonus! Communiation with the property manager was attentive, friendly and accommodating. Loved it and wish we could've stayed another night.

Fabulous view, lovely, private space. So many amenities. A Perfect hot tub with a view. Such a relaxing and beautiful home. Heated floor in the bathroom, very comfortable bed, and so many whimsical touches! We asked about beach towels and they were delivered the next morning—above and beyond hospitality! I loved the foresty locale, but also appreciated the artful landscaping. We so enjoyed our stay!

We had a great stay at Michael’s place. It was super quiet and peaceful, but still just a quick drive to town and the river. One afternoon we went to River Electric Swim Club, which was only five minutes away and a great spot to hang out. The hot tub was perfect after a long day, and we spent the evenings grilling on the deck. The beds were really comfortable, and our 4year old loved the bunk beds and playing in the small cabin on the property. The house has a lot of sun light, which can be hard to find in the Russian River area, and it made the whole place feel really nice and open. Michael was super responsive and helpful with any questions we had. We'd definitely come back!
