Chalet holiday rentals in Greenwood Lake

My wife and I enjoyed our winter anniversary stay at the cabin. It was clean and cozy. We enjoyed time by the fire place, free streaming services, and the Keurig(bring bottled water for coffee). The area around the cabin was very walkable in a development with two lakes. It was close to amenities like Walmart (we had to purchase wash clothes and firewood), the interstate and food. We recommend to bring your own pillow if you like them soft. The water pressure was fine in the kitchen but low in the bathroom. Jessica was easily reached to work out any questions. If you are looking for a cozy, comfortable cabin close to everything, stay with Jessica. We would stay again.

My husband and I adored this place! It was in a beautiful location that was very peaceful, which was just what we were looking for. It was a nice escape from the city where we are from. It was a very friendly community and the lake was a walk away. We were fortunate enough to be during a snowstorm and it made everything mystical and cozy. We got to stay in, cook a nice meal, watch movies and see the snow fall! The place was absolutely beautiful and everything you could imagine/hope for as a cabin in the poconos. It had absolutely everything we needed and more! The pictures don’t even do the beauty and warmth of this home justice! Magda was very welcoming, attentive to our needs, and quick with her responses. We felt at home and would love to come back and enjoy another getaway in this dreamy woodsy wonder.

We enjoyed our stay so much that I booked another night for the following weekend. The place is simple and beautiful. Secluded, surrounded by a pine forest, with a cozy meadow. The house has everything you need. While we were having dinner, a deer mama and her little Bambi were grazing right outside the windows. A wonderful experience in every way.

Great house! Arek was responsive and helped us with whatever we needed. Kids had a blast with the ping pong and the arcade. Well stocked kitchen and great living space. We loved the table and chairs on the deck overlooking the lake.

We were very comfortable and Wills place had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend away. We enjoyed the game room with our kids and appreciated the fenced yard for our dogs. There was some extreme weather (snow, ice, rain and wind) and the house was warm and well insulated! We plan to be back.

I can’t say enough good things about this rental. The space was clean, inviting, well appointed, and with a magnificent mountain view from the living spaces and deck. We happened to go during a record heat wave and didn’t expect to spend most of our time inside, but having that great space AND excellent ac made the trip so enjoyable. If I had three thumbs I would give it a triple thumbs up!

Cozy Silo Home is a perfect description of Olga's home! The silo is really unusual, with lots of windows/lighting and is comfortable and nicely decorated. It's a short drive from Woodstock, which is a fantastic area with lots of shopping, restaurants, etc. It's also very close to great hiking and other outdoor activities. At the house, we spent most of our time outside on the large balcony/patio and cooking meals on the outdoor grill. We booked last-minute and Olga was very responsive, answered all our questions and made things very easy for us. We live in NYC and a weekend in/around Woodstock is a great way to recharge and reconnect with nature. We definitely recommend Olga's silo home for a weekend or longer!! Note: stairs are required to enter into the home and to get to the bedrooms/bathrooms, so don't bring anything too bulky or heavy.

The house was a great Memorial weekend spot for my family & pet. The garden was beautifully maintained, and the living space open and inviting. We found lots of do in the area, including the Bash Bish waterfall, the old taconic railway turned hiking path, and the Berkshire botanic gardens. There were bunnies hopping around the lawn and plentiful birdsong. Really an idyllic escape from the city. Would love to stay again!

We had such a wonderful stay! The house had everything we needed—so well supplied with towels, soap, laundry detergent, and everything necessary to cook and bake. Kevin even left us some snacks, which was such a thoughtful touch! My favorite part was the coffee bar—fully stocked with different flavors to choose from. Coffee lovers will be in heaven! The playroom downstairs was a hit with the kids! My child, nieces, and nephews had a blast playing arcade games and even enjoyed the karaoke machine. The house was beautifully decorated and felt cozy and inviting. We also loved watching the wildlife—spotting deer and birds right outside the window was such a treat! The location was easy to find, with Larsen Lake just around the corner. My daughter fished for the first time and even caught a fish—she had so much fun! Kevin was a great host—he checked in to make sure everything was going smoothly and was easy to reach if we had any questions. We truly felt taken care of!

Myself and a few friends stayed at the cabin for a bachelor party, and we couldn’t have asked for a better spot. The cabin was reasonably priced and well located, with plenty of space for 8 guys (and probably 1-2 more). The hosts were detailed and responsive - we found everything we needed in the guidebook they provided. It was complete with detailed descriptions and how-to videos for the sauna and outdoor fire pit.

Absolutely beautiful location and wonderful hosts. By far the most accommodating stay we have ever had. It felt like home the entire time. Super safe, friendly and welcoming community. Jessica and Scott left nothing to chance. Everything needed and more was provided. They've thought of everything, even things we wouldn't have thought of, so it was a true getaway. Any time we're in the Poconos we will be looking to Jessica first.

Perfection! There are not enough positive and kind words to express the degree of happiness, peace and contentment we felt while staying here. They are the ultimate host, attention to detail in every single way they truly make you feel at home right from the start and in all of the considerate little details throughout the property! It was truly the BEST stay we have experienced and everything was so clean and the surroundings were blissful! Thank you so much for the wonderful stay we will be back without a doubt!

We just spent 5 days on a family getaway, and this was truly the perfect spot to completely relax. The pool is beautiful, and large enough for all 8 adults and our grandson to be in at the same time. We also loved the fire pit, and had a fire 2 nights. It was an easy drive into Saugerties, Kingston and Woodstock. I highly recommend going to the Kingston Farmer's Market.

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! I visited with my two daughters and two of their friends, it was the perfect spot for a relaxing family getaway. The home was clean, cozy, and well-stocked with everything we needed. We especially loved the hot tub, sauna, and fire pit—such fun and relaxing amenities that made our stay feel extra special. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, and the host was incredibly thoughtful and responsive, which made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend for families or anyone looking to unwind in comfort—we’d absolutely stay again!

We had an amazing anniversary weekend at the Secluded Woodstock Retreat. The house was very spacious and peaceful. We enjoyed the warm weather by the pool for most of the day. The house is situated close to our favorite restaurants. Ron is a great host and very accommodating. We look forward to reserving again soon.

3rd times the charm!!! This was 3rd straight year myself & my crew(family), plus Charlie(Golden Retriever) have been to Alyson & Rob's house! Even though Mother Nature wasn't on our side all weekend, we still had an awesome weekend! Daytime down by the lake, then spending nights around the fire with a few cocktails is a great weekend! Rob & Alyson are quick with a reply to any questions! Looking forward to next year for Round 4! Highly recommend!

What a relaxing stay for our mini getaway. I will start with the responsiveness and friendliness! Great hosts. When we checked in, we saw a bday balloon (for my bf’s bday), water, a bday glass, and pretzels. Totally sweet and welcoming! House was spotless. We loved the view, fireplace, and hot tub. We cooked some great meals on the grill. We took out the paddleboat for a quick trip which was so much fun. We also enjoyed watching movies on the huge tv downstairs. It was a quick, relaxing time away. Thank you for having everything that made our time away worth it!

We had a fantastic stay here. The weather certainly didn't cooperate with us, but we still had fun even when we were forced to stay in. There was plenty to do and we spent a lot of time in front of the cozy pellet stove. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you Janina for sharing your home with us and being a great host.

Great location so peaceful and serene!

House was ideal for our party of 5 singles. Host responded quickly to questions prior to check in and was also one of the most clean homes we’ve been to in the area. Requirements and restrictions were straightforward and minimal, which was convenient. Host also sent timely check ins upon our arrival but were almost unnecessary since everything met or exceeded expectations from get go. Obviously coming back if available!

Completely lost for words . Great location . Great service . Beautiful cabin. Provided wood. Requested some fire starter wood and a host brought it right to me. We definitely will be back and I encourage everyone to go . Don’t second guess it , it’s something you will never forget.
