Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Great Yarmouth District

What can I say that hasn’t already been said in previous reviews. Marian was a fabulous host and also Michelle, who oversees the running of Old Chapel House. We arrived to find the table in the kitchen all set out for dinner. Great fun was had in the evening playing croquet in the fabulous garden and then games around the kitchen table. Fresh flowers in each of the rooms was a lovely touch. Knowing one of my sons was home for our family wedding at Waxham Barn, Marian had arranged an Australian pineapple cake for us to enjoy, together with locally sourced marmalade and apple juice. It was also helpful to find plenty of items such as tea, coffee, condiments etc. My one request to my family was for a slice of sourdough bread, delivered on the Saturday morning, be left for me after having my hair and makeup done. Sadly, it had all been demolished! The house clearly was a previously well loved family home. We had a fantastic stay and will most definitely be returning.

This cottage is just so peaceful in beautiful surroundings. Within a short drive you can be in the Norfolk Broads or any of the local beaches, from Great Yarmouth down to Aldeburgh. For dog owners I would recommend Kessingland. It's just such a lovely stroll and surprisingly not busy. Dogs are welcome on the beach all year round here. Dave is a really friendly chap and I'm sure if we had had any problems at all with the cottage he would have been there to help out, but the cottage was faultless. Just a lovely quiet place, surrounded by fields. If we visit Suffolk again I will definitely see if this cottage is available. It's so relaxing here. What a hidden gem!

We had such a wonderful stay at Caroline’s modern home! The place was impeccably clean, beautifully designed, and had such a warm, homely feel that immediately made us feel comfortable and relaxed. It was exactly what me and my partner needed for a peaceful getaway. The blend of modern touches with cozy comforts made it a truly special experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to unwind and recharge. Highly recommend!

Perfect place for the two of us and our dog. Very comfortable and peaceful place to return to after a day exploring the broads, with parking in front of the lodge. We loved all the extra touches left for us and our dog too! WiFi worked fine for us and the TV as well as plenty of books/ games etc. The beds were clean and comfortable. Sonya was a lovely host and very responsive. We visited Norwich which was well worth it, so much to see and do. Lowestoft is only minutes away with sandy beaches. We had a full English breakfast on our last morning at the marina bar/restaurant which was huge and tasty. Nice trip away in a lovely area.

This was a lovely and comfortable home for the 3 of us. Best part was the incredible outdoor garden and terrace. We enjoyed the games and books provided too. It was quiet and peaceful. Hannah was very friendly and responsive. Overall a great stay. One word of caution - the road passes very close by the front door, so it’s best to be very careful when exiting (especially for those who normally look left for traffic).

Tommy was a fab host. Communication was great and really fast - especially when I couldn’t figure out the oven and dinner was at risk lol. He was really thoughtful organising a cushion to be posted to us for the high chair. Definitely a host to recommend.

Just finished a very relaxing few days and it was everything we could have hoped for. Stunning view and so peaceful! Caravan had everything we needed. Spotless and clean. So sad to leave and am already wondering when I could next come and stay. Would definitely recommend staying here. Thank you Sara.

We loved our stay! It felt modern and homely. Everything we needed was there to use. Loved the way storage had been handled in comparison to other chalets we have stayed at. The shower was lovely and hot and the whole place was spotless and the air fresheners made the place smell beautiful Lucy was easy to contact and very accommodating. Thank you so much.

Wow what a lovely place to stay! It’s immaculate and has so much included what with the Hamper on arrival, kids toys and books and games, DVDS, spotlessly clean and the quality of the linen impressive! I would go as far as saying it’s the cleanest place we have stayed and in terms of location it’s perfect! All in walking distance! Comfy beds and sofas! I can not fault this place one bit! If you book you will not be disappointed! It’s on a lovely site with pool £4 per child and £5 per adult well worth it so clean and tidy! Lovely bar on site too all dog friendly! Get booking you will not be disappointed!

We had such a lovely time. Location was peaceful and the accommodation was perfectly placed for planned activities and so close to the beach. Inside was clean and lovely and warm and Hannah was fantastic at answering any questions very quickly and also making sure we were settled in. Thank you.

We booked a few nights away, very well kept and clean chalet. Hosts were very attentive to any messages or questions we had. Made our weekend very enjoyable and we will be booking again

We went for a family weekend to connect and just had the most amazing time. Toastie warm comfy beds. Don’t forget to book the pool and top tip… remember to take a towel for the pool!

We had a lovely stay at Helen’s place near Oulton Broad for 3 nights with the kids and the dog. Lovely little attention to detail with dog treats and dog bowls left out, also some treats for the humans. Thanks!

We have had a lovely week at David’s cottage. It has everything you could need and more. We loved the kitchen and the garden. The locations great we have really enjoyed the week thanks for having us ⭐️

A great chalet we used it as a base we travelled into Norwich and Norfolk also to great yarmouth as well as the little villages close by. What a beautiful surrounding with all the little cafes near the beach. Highly recommend staying here as a stay vacation or using it as a base like we did to discover more. from Mandy, Marc and our fur baby poppy, might be her last holiday at 16 1/2 years old but she got around.

Lovely stay for a sunny weekend family getaway. Dax was really responsive and helpful, the house was lovely and only 10 mins to Gorlestone beach which was amazing for the kids with the free splash park and expansive gorgeous sand. Lots of amenities were provided and the hot tub was a great addition for chilled evenings. All round a great stay- would recommend!

An idyllic getaway with easy access to a very large but quiet sandy beach. Sea shallow enough to paddle/swim in. Accommodation top notch with relaxing areas in the back (hammock) and front veranda. Polly has thought of everything within the house so you will want for nothing.

We had a great time. Will recommend to people . Walked into town but was ok once we realised about the clipper bus every 15min from top of the road, was better for us older ones hehe. The accommodation was brilliant thank you 👍

The Annexe was superbly clean. Bed was very comfortable, shower was heavenly, especially after a very hot day in the sea and sand. David was very informative, I'm looking to relocate in that area, and his puppy dog and my dog became best friends. I had a relaxing stay, will definitely go again.

Fantastic stay in a wonderful cozy chalet near the resort of Hemsby. Our granddaughters absolutely loved it there and the attention to detail in the chalet was 2nd to none with kids games and cutlery and plates et cetera - great location with three clubhouses nearby and a fish and chip shop - Amusements and beach pretty much on your doorstep too. Would def go back.

We had a lovely stay at Sophie’s place. The property is stunning and was as described in the listing. Check in was super easy as well. Kitchen was also very well equipped. What a beautiful place!! We absolutely loved this property. It is much better in real than the pictures (which are already impressive). Despite the moody weather this weekend we had a wonderful time thanks to this exceptional property. It had everything you need and more. Squeaky clean. We would definitely like to return.
