We had a wonderful time at Katrina’s cottage. It rained throughout our stay, but that only added to the magic of the surroundings and made the house feel even cozier. The nature around was truly stunning - such a beautiful, remote, and peaceful location, exactly what we were hoping for to unwind for a few days. The house itself was lovely, with a spacious living room and large panoramic windows that let us take in the views. The jacuzzi was clean and spacious, and it was such a treat to gaze at the trees and sky while relaxing there. We also enjoyed a short walk to the lake. Overall, it was a great experience - wish I could go back right now! :)

This was the perfect little getaway! Everything about it was unforgettable! Will definitely book again!

A Perfect Getaway at a Beautiful Water View Cottage! Our group of girlfriends recently had the pleasure of staying at a lovely Airbnb cottage in Norland, and I can't recommend it enough! The location was great, with great views of the water that made every moment feel special. The cottage itself was very nice, providing a cozy and inviting atmosphere. It was well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the hosts were attentive. We were disappointed that we couldn't fully enjoy the wonderful deck due to the weather. However, the hot tub was a fantastic highlight of our stay, and we made the most of it! Overall, our stay was great, and look forward to returning. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with beautiful scenery, this is the place to be!

A beautiful place, with everything you need for a private romantic retreat, my girlfriend and I also enjoyed bringing our dogs along. I’d say if one thing could be changed I have a preference for a firmer bed.

Perfect place for a getaway!

Perfect spot to relax and unwind. Loved being steps away from the lake, hot tub, and sauna. Only an 8 minute drive to Lakefield, and about 20 minutes to the Curve Lake First Nations reserve. Hosts recommended a nice farm-to-table spot that we really enjoyed (The Cheeky Duck). The Nook was just what we needed and I happily recommend it to anyone looking to disconnect and kick back for a little while!

Grant is a fantastic host, he really made us feel like family. We will be going back for anniversaries and looking forward to it. We wish we could give more than five stars, it was an incredible experience that we will cherish. We will also be recommending their place to friends and family. Thank you both!!!

We loved our stay at RuthAnn and Norman's cabin! It was exactly what we needed to relax and get away from the craziness of Toronto. Everything was clean and well-organized. Norman is a fantastic host – so helpful and friendly, giving us a great tour and awesome local tips.

We stayed for two nights with my husband and our dog, and we loved it! The place was cozy yet modern, with all the essentials—heating, cooling, and wifi. The bathroom was a definite highlight for us. Everything was just as described, and the little jar of honey was such a sweet touch. We also appreciated the bug helmets and Thermacell—super handy! The location was great, and having easy access to the Oxtongue River and dock was super convenient. Kayaks and canoes were also included in the booking. The views were beautiful, and the outdoor space was both peaceful and functional. Check-in was smooth, and the host had great communication and was very responsive. The cabin’s modern design really stood out. Thanks so much for having us—we’re already looking forward to coming back!

Ron's cottage has gorgeous view!! Definitely worth to stay in!!

We stayed here for a family trip with our child, and he absolutely loved feeding carrots to the donkeys and horses on the ranch. The accommodation looked exactly like the photos and was impeccably clean and well-maintained. It was also very convenient because the place was fully equipped with kitchenware and amenities, so we didn’t need to bring much from home. Most of all, the host was kind and respectful of our privacy, which allowed us to truly relax during our stay. It was a quiet and peaceful place, and we’d love to visit again in the future.

This zen little cabin was the most perfect location for our annual girls weekend. My university friends and I get together every May long weekend and this was our 20th year carrying on the tradition. This place was private, had absolutely gorgeous architecture, was incredibly styled, clean, and had every amenity you need to entertain. Cassidy went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay, and was proactive and quick to respond. Thank you for sharing your slice of paradise with us - It was relaxing and the perfect spot for new memories to be had. ❤️

My husband and I had a really lovely time here for my birthday. It was the perfect weekend getaway from the city; private, quiet, and surrounded by trees in beautiful Baysville. Our dogs loved being able to run around the property and go on daily walks to the lake. The cottage itself was cozy and charming and had all the modern comforts we could need. The bathroom was especially nice! Though it was a chilly/rainy weekend, we stayed warm by the fire, used the SmartTV to catch up on shows, and powered our way through a thousand piece puzzle! All in all very relaxing. The hosts were also friendly, responsive and flexible; we’d book again!

Our Misty River Cabin stay was absolutely dreamy. We stayed for a weekend with our dog and left feeling relaxed and refreshed after a beautiful time in nature. The cabin is extremely cozy and has all the cottage feel while still being very luxurious. Every aspect of the cabin from the comfy beds to fully equipped kitchen (and so much more) made it feel very bespoke and special. It rained almost the entire time, but we still enjoyed every moment as we could snuggle in the Muskoka room (with outdoor fire) and watch rain fall on the river as the birds sang, or enjoy movies on the cozy couch next to the fire. Our dog got to enjoy plenty of play on the little beach and shallow water too. It was wonderful to have a vacation the entire family could enjoy. We hope to come back soon!

A Wonderful Lakeside Cottage We had a fantastic time at Amy's cottage. The location was peaceful and private.The cottage was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the boating opportunities on the lake, the beautiful sunsets, and the fire pit by the water. Amy was a gracious host, always quick to respond.Highly recommend this spot for a relaxing getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at Bala Vida. The cabin was cozy, neat & well kept with its modern touches. Located a few minutes walk from the lake, it offers a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature. Sauna was a nice touch as well. Patrick was responsive & helped us during our stay when we needed support. Would love to go back again during winter as well.

We had such a lovely stay at Natalie’s place. We had everything we needed, the place is so nicely designed and kept very clean. We had a thunderstorm one night that knocked the power out. Natalie was quick to respond and sorted us out right away. Would definitely come back to stay!

We had an incredible stay at Alex and Violetta’s cottage! The cottage itself was modern yet cozy. The record player and arcade game was a nice touch especially for rainy days spent indoors. The view from the sunroom is incredible and Drag Lake is beautiful, we loved spending time on the paddleboard, sitting on the dock, by the fire pit or in the hot tub. The grounds are quite private as well, so it’s like your own little oasis! I recommend this cottage to anyone… we’d definitely love to visit again in the future!

The Doma Lodge is a great little cabin perfect for a weekend getaway. The cabin is beautifully decorated, cozy, and very clean. Everything is well thought out, organized, and comfortable. The outside space is quite private from neighbours and is surrounded by forest. Stephen was an excellent host and very responsive. I would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay at Jennifer’s. Unfortunately we had a family funeral unexpectedly and could not arrive on Friday as planned. We arrived the Saturday evening instead but Jennifer offered a late check out for us since we had lost some time. Accommodation is pleasant and clean. Bed was comfortable and you can tell that Jennifer and her husband take great pride in the property Beautiful surroundings and a great view of the lake. Orr lake is very shallow and has a beach area it would be great if travelling with kids. We were disappointed that the water was too shallow for fishing from the dock but it was a chilly weekend so we spent time in nearby Midland. St Marie Among the Hurons was a great way to spend a cold afternoon. Found a great English pub in Victoria Harbour.

Adam and The Beach House were exactly as described - 5 star stay all around. The house was clean and had all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay out of the city. The sauna was especially nice and clearly well maintained. The host was also responsive, proactive, helpful and super supportive throughout the stay. Fantastic visit and would highly recommend this place!

We loved celebrating our anniversary at Cara’s place! It was exactly as described and extremely cozy. The fire table and outdoor lounge area was well utilized, and it is a great spot to watch shows and movies on the projector! The area surrounding the property and the town of Port Sydney itself is absolutely breathtaking. Listening to the sound of the falls was calming and peaceful while enjoying a glass of wine on the bunkie patio. Overall an extremely pleasant experience! Thank you for making our time so special (and a thank you for the bottle of wine, a wonderful surprise 😎).
