Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Grand Marais

Scott was an amazing host. His house is so unique and he literally has everything you'd need in it for cooking, entertainment, and relaxation. The view of the lake from the house is beautiful and located within minutes of some of the best fish fry and smoked fish I've ever had. Would definitely come back again!

Great space that was off the main drag yet close enough to get to food/attractions/etc quickly. Very polite, responsive hosts!

Kelly’s comfy stay was perfect for our weekend trip to the Porkies. It was our first time visiting, and it was very convenient having a place to stay just 20 minutes from the park. The house was spacious with plenty of bedrooms and a relaxing living room. A tip for new travelers to the area, the few available restaurants close at 8pm. Our first night we lost track of time hiking until sunset (9pm) and found ourselves out of luck for food. Thankfully the kitchen was also very functional, allowing us to make a meal with some non-perishables we brought. One negative about our stay was that the dryer stopped producing heat. However, Kelly was quick with her communication and sent her husband to take a look the same day. Although the problem was never ultimately solved during our time there, it did not affect our trip in any way. I highly recommend this great stay. The Porkies will not disappoint!

Jennifer's place is wonderful and peaceful and relaxing. The setting is amazing and the house is cozy and clean. The yard and trails are beautiful and it's an incredibly beautiful location. I would definitely go again.

The place was great in terms of location, cleanliness and price. It offers easy access to downtown area (by car) as well as the places we needed to visit. The neighborhood is quiet. The living room was smaller than we thought but fits fine for 5 adults. The place is very cozy, well decorated. Three beds are all king size and comfortable. The only issue was that water stopped during dishes so we arranged timing of showering but it was manageable. We will rent it again if we need a place to stay in Duluth.

My wife, dog and I stayed a week over the winter to get out of the city. Great place right on Lake Superior and next to the porkies. The Finnish sauna on the beach is unreal. We had such a blast we rented the place in the summer. Would highly recommend.

Jon's place was great for me and my wife with our 2 small dogs. we were the first renters of the season and there wasn't any coffee, so Jon immediately gave me a $15 refund. great directions for hiking trails, nice quiet place and great location for visiting the Apostle islands. we would definitely stay there again.

Had a wonderful, albeit too short, stay at the moose condo! It was so nice being right on the lake. Everything in the condo was just as described and I really appreciated that coffee was provided. Scott was also very responsive. I’d stay here again.

My family and I stayed up here for a quick weekend trip, myself, my fiancée, our 6 month old and our dog. This Airbnb was the perfect combination of prime location and amenities. Day one before check-in we were able to drive the short distance to Grand Marais and go shop around the town, try out some new food, and walk the dog on the shore of Lake Superior. Check-in was such a breeze through the hosts extremely clear instructions. The condo was really clean and well stocked with all the little things that you forget to pack on a weekend away (and coffee)! The location being between Tofte and Lutsen let us get out to a few different towns to check out great food and drink options. One morning we went to Coho cafe for breakfast and coffee followed by 3 waterfalls all within 15 minutes, it made for a beautiful day. That afternoon we went down to the shore right at the resort and just took in the view. The sauna, hot tub and pool were just the cherry on top! Can’t wait to go back 👍

We stayed in the eagles nest cabin and it was great. Nice and clean and an amazing view. Was a quick stay passing through but would be an awesome place to stay for days or a week. Great hiking spots near by. I’d stay again.

We had a great time at David's condo at Lutsen! It was the perfect spot for our late season ski trip, we cooked several meals there with the brand new grill and well-stocked kitchen. The 3 bathrooms came in handy with 5 people staying here and the ski in/ski out location was ideal. Would definitely recommend to stay at this spot again!

Everything was great, would recommend it. Only advise would be to bring a sound machine if traveling with little kids because the noise travels from the conveniently located pool area and even though the walls of the condo

I would have to say that Jenny’s place was the most welcoming Airbnb we have ever stayed in! When we arrived we were greeted with a bottle of wine, a bouquet of flowers for my birthday, and treats for our furry family member. The place was clean, comfortable and had lovely treetop views of Lake Superior. Everything you would need in a kitchen from an espresso maker to a lemon squeezer could be found. In the living room was a fantastic record player where we listened to Nina Simone while we had our breakfast and enjoyed cooking in the evening to Miles Davis. A couple of the best features were the wonderful soaking tub and the dreamy sheets on the cozy king size bed. Both came in handy over the cool rainy days during our stay. Our stay was exactly what we needed to unwind and celebrate my 50th birthday weekend. Thank you!

The stars from the porch are gorgeous at night. Cabin was as expected, fun stay!

My wife and I visited here as part of a North Shore trip for her birthday, and it was a wonderful little mountaintop haven. The view from the deck alone is worth the trip—actual miles of Lake Superior stretching across the horizon. We would wake up, spend the morning drinking coffee and reading Aurelius on the deck, and happily soaking in the sunshine and savoring the unparalleled vista.

Betty’s Pies was just close enough to the location for us to hop on our electric bikes and enjoy the easy, scenic, back-country ride, culminating of course in the happy indulgence of celebratory birthday pie. It was honestly just the mix of relaxation, peace, and beauty that our tiring souls were in need of at the end of our trip, and our host was entirely thoughtful, communicative, and welcoming. Highly recommend.

We had a great stay! The space was perfect for just the 2 of us. it was cozy and I loved the hammock swing! I was happy we could see Lake Superior from the porch and the walk to it really is quick with easy access to the beach. it was private enough with quick access to Grand Marais. we hope to stay here again!

beautiful cabin in the woods, near lakes and hiking. plenty of space with a great view of the sunrise from the bedroom upstairs. incredibly quiet and peaceful spot, really appreciated the modern cabin! easy to find, and near a coffee shop and two different lodges with restaurants. Great place to relax and enjoy the calm of nature!

We had the best time at our stay here! Super relaxing and so many beautiful views and hikes! Derek & Andrea are the sweetest couple ever and so kind! We are already planning for a trip back!

We had a great stay! Eric's place is a gorgeous, comfortable, modern lake home. Beds very comfy, cool little cubby style bunk beds great for kids. We grilled steaks one evening and ate most meals at the house. Everything we needed was there. Kitchen was great for cooking. A/C unit was nice surprise for the sunny warm days of our stay when the house got warm with the morning sun. Great water pressure in the shower, no issues with anything. We hiked every day and visited the lake. Host-provided Netflix account was nice touch so we didn't have to figure out logging into our account. Perfect location for all of our adventures! Thanks!
