Beachfront holiday rentals in Grand Baie Public Beach

Clean, spacious and well equipped. Hostess was helpful and responsive. Short walk to a quiet side of the beach which we thoroughly enjoyed. Loved our stay here

We have just returned to the UK after a 14 day vacation in the villa. We had a fantastic holiday the villa is beautiful inside and out. Perhaps our favourite area was the veranda. Its wraps around the villa and has many different seating areas. We spent most evenings out there. Garry is an amazing host he met us at the villa and showed us around also providing great information about Mauritius eating out beaches etc. He kindly allowed us to check out a little later. We ate out at Le Meridian and Revive several times they are local and within walking distance. Friendly staff and excellent food. La Voglia Matto Pizza eat in or takeaway is worth a visit. Absolutely recommend this villa. Thank you Garry Martyn and Christine

Awesome stay at Baleau Villa, place has all listed amenities and is well located - Pereybere beach is 3 mins away with a great selection of restaurants around! We were offered homemade chicken curry with vegetables which was delicious ! Would definitely recommend! :))

A nice and big studio with a great terrace. Very quiet yet centrally located. The beach and restaurants can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes, if you want to go to other beaches, a scooter or car is recommended. The landlords are very comfortable. There is plenty of hot water, the kitchen is well equipped and the rooms can be darkened with curtains. The bed is comfortable, the AC cools down, although it is also a little louder. Earplugs can help. Everything is divided as shown in the pictures: a bathroom, a kitchen with seating, a bedroom and a living room with sofa and dining table.

Great place- everything we were looking for!

Fantastic location, directly on the beach, really quiet. House is decorated with taste and really feel comfortable. The pool is not too deep so rather safe. The beach is really quiet and nice. Swimming is easy and not deep for a long while. East coast is more exposed to wind but end of June we had pleasant weather every days, despite some occasional rain that never lasted long. Asmita the cleaning lady is really friendly but also knows to be discreet. She was really taking good care of the house and us. It’s a real plus to have her. A car is a must to quickly go around, shopping or for dinner. We hope to come back one day.

The place is huge and spacious. They have cleaner that clean the house every day. Host is easy to communicate and very responsive. Highly recommended

We stayed, with my parents (four adults and two small children) Upon arrival (flexible schedule) small touches awaited us (appreciable), we discovered a house as described (secure, spacious, clean, with all the necessities for daily life...) on a quiet little street, just 5 minutes from the beach on foot . Pleasant pool and possibility to bring a car into the yard (even two) Yoshi and his mom are very nice people, we highly recommend their rental!!

The apartment was new, clean, well equipped and child friendly (we travelled with a 3 years old) both a high chair, an extra maddress was provided for her. The interior design was very tasteful, the kitchen fully equipped. The local welcome drinks and snacks were a really nice touch! The location was quiet and easy to reach in a family-friendly neighbourhood. The pool was great, but the beach was also in walking distance. We didn’t personally meet Severine but she was very helpful, flexible and quick to answer our questions

The apartment is fantastic, it was at a great location. We visited several beaches but the one around the place is one of the most beautiful ones. The apartment is well equipped, we really felt like being at home. We got absolutely clear instructions in a timely manner. We had a really super stay here in Mauritius.

Absolutely loved staying at Antonio's apartment! The view of the ocean from the balcony is spectacular. The apartment is new and kept exceptionally clean. Loved cooking in the kitchen which was well stocked in utensils for all our cooking needs - this is a rare find as most self catering accommodation lacks all cooking essentials. The quality of kitchen utensils was exceptional for a holiday stay, which I personally enjoyed. Antonio is fast to respond to any questions. Also loved the local hospitality of Isabelle and Yanick. This apartment was definitely a home away from home in its comfortably!

Perfect location, beautiful apartment with everything you need inside: a small balcony to enjoy the sun in the morning during breakfast, a seating area with two swings to relax when returning from visits, a fully equipped kitchen and a modern bathroom. Not to mention the outside with its large swimming pool, its well-stocked weight room, the relaxation area, the barbecue area... everything is beautiful. Great hosts who best advise you on things to visit, very kind, respectful, attentive and attentive. I was able to share a grill and rum party with them and it was perfect. I recommend 1000% and will be back for sure! See you soon.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The staff was incredibly attentive, offering help instantly for any queries or requests we had, which truly made us feel welcomed and valued. The villa itself is perfectly situated, providing an ideal blend of privacy and accessibility. Surrounded by breathtaking scenery, we were able to fully immerse ourselves in a tranquil environment while still being within reach of restaurants and supermarkets . Whether we wanted to relax by the pool, explore nearby beaches, or enjoy local dining options, the location couldn't have been better. I can’t recommend this villa highly enough, and I’m already looking forward to our next visit. It was the perfect getaway for us! Thank you for such an unforgettable exp.

The location is stunning and the accommodation extremely functional as well as comfortable so we spent much of our stay at the house and were able to relax totally. The place is within easy reach of restaurants, shops, beaches and other necessary amenities although it would have been limited without a hire car. Mathilde was great throughout, always there if we needed anything, extremely helpful but not at all intrusive. We had a late arrival and she facilitated a meal at the house and essential supplies for us which made the start of our holiday much easier than it could have been.

Excellent stay, very nice welcome by the host. He was very attentive and guaranteed that everything was going for the good during our stay it was very adorable. We recommend it without hesitation.

We spent a few days in this home with my wife and two kids. The place met our expectations: it was very clean and in a good location, we could go to the beach on foot and paddles were available. There is a supermarket 2 minutes away by car and it is a good location to radiate on the northern half of the island. We were very nice by Marianne, the partner of Hervé Emmanuel who gave us lots of ideas for activities to do also with the children.

The stay fully met our expectations, spacious and well-maintained apartment, excellent kitchen and bathroom showers among the most beautiful and spacious with a super jet of water. It was nice to have the beach 50 meters away, not very busy. Many other beautiful beaches nearby and great restaurants in Grand Baie. A much appreciated plus was Mimi who came to clean and arrange the house every day... so that's ok !!! 2 small notes: we had difficulty opening the gate because we were not provided with the combination (or at least I don't remember receiving it) and another note concerns the lack of light in the internal parking lot that made it difficult to see the combination to open the gate. But overall I have to say that it was a great accommodation experience

we stayed at Haris place for 4 nights. As we are a young couple travelling with a 4 year old kid , we found Hari's place to be ideal for our needs. The fully equipped kitchen in which an additional blender was provided on request made our life so easier regarding meal preps .The rooms, bed and everything else was perfect .There are three spacious bedrooms.If I might point to a minor drawback would be the absence of a king size bed,due to which I had to use the adjacent room to sleep since squeezing a kid with you might make the bed a bit cramped. This place may not score high on having great views around, but in terms of utility and practicality it scores a 10/10. We had a rental car for which there was ample space to park inside the property. There is a laundry room also which can be utilized if needed . The property is stocked up with lot of toiletries and other essentials too . would definitely recommend this property to those who are looking at utility and practicality.
