Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Grad Hvar

The apartment was wonderful for our 2 nights on Hvar. It is located in a quite neighborhood in walking distance to the old town. If you arrive with a trolley we recommend to take a taxi because you take many stairs from the port to the apartment. Korina was a lovely host!

Ante’s place is set in most beautiful location. The inside is very basic but we spent all of our time outside. The hot tub was a huge bonus, especially for our young children as the sea was cool in mid May. Ante was super responsive and helped us with anything that we needed. Thank you so much for having us!

Dear Valerie, dear Dani, Our stay in your lovingly built and furnished holiday home was indescribably beautiful. We enjoyed the 5 days very much and felt comfortable. Our dog, too, by the way! Everything was super clean, very quiet on the outskirts. The view is amazing! Thank you very much for the nice contact with you, the great tips and yet it was never intrusive, we were completely undisturbed. The information folder was also very helpful. We can therefore highly recommend the accommodation for all those seeking peace and relaxation. Nevertheless, the beautiful beaches and the cities of Hvar and Stari Grad are not far away and easy to reach by car. Love, Christiane and Alexander

We were 4 adults and a toddler and Sanja’s place was lovely for us. Big balcony with a nice view and the bedrooms were roughly the same size which was great for two couples. Short easy walk to town and all the restaurants. Sanja’s mom Maria let us in on the first day. Maria was very kind throughout our stay. Greeted us with beers on the first day and when we asked about beach towels on the second day she was more than happy to provide us with some. Sanja herself was also very responsive, I messaged her a few times asking about restaurant and beach recommendations in Hvar and she got back to me promptly with a lot of information. I would recommend Sanja’s place to anyone going to Hvar.

Filip was an amazing host, always helpful, friendly and made us feel right at home. We all loved the house and location, easy walk into Hvar and in the other direction to a wonderful beach. The house was comfortable and had all we needed. The pool was perfect. Highly recommended and thanks Filip!

Absolutely amazing hosts and amazing accommodations, super clean and quaint place. renting scooters to get around was a game changer, bring snacks for the kitties :) taxi recommendation from host was easy to call up to get for nights out. you’re the only residents on the hill so enjoyed the privacy yet easily accessibility to Hvar and Milna via 5-10min scooter ride. Literally cannot say more about how awesome this place / experience was!!!! Wish we could include pictures of the view from the living room because it was breathe-taking. Would ONLY stay here when we return :) a few steps to climb and probably not recommended for older folks who can’t haul luggage up but totally worth it for the view, the house, and the amazing hosts if you’re able. We’ll be back next time!

Our stay at Mia’s place was great. Communication with Mia was excellent from the start, very responsive and helpful, which made planning our arrival super easy. We chose the self check-in option and it couldn’t have been more straightforward. Everything was clearly explained and went smoothly. The place was exactly as described, comfortable, well equipped and in a great location, with a beautiful view of the fortress. The island itself is beautiful. Great accommodation. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable with an amazing view of the sea. Very friendly and personable host, provided transport from the old town upon arrival and departure, gave us great restaurant recommendations and helped us immediately with any queries. And even gave us a delicious bottle of homemade wine, highly recommend

Tomislav was very friendly and helpful ensuring a very easy checkin experience. The location is amazing! Literally steps away once you exit the ferry. Close to wonderful places to see and eat. The apartment was very welcoming and had everything that you would need. Would definitely stay again.

Ana's place was in a great location. About 5-10 mins walk to the centre of Hvar town and the view from the balcony over the harbour and the town was incredible. Ana and her family live next door and are close by should you need anything.

If you are staying in hvar you must stay with Eni! Eni was the best host we have ever had on airbnb- she went the extra mile at every opportunity. From picking us up from the ferry and giving us a little tour in her vintage Renault, to providing homemade shots on arrival - Eni was faultless! The apartment was incredible and we don’t think you can get a better view of hvar - we climbed both fortresses so can confirm! Thanks Eni and hopefully we will return one day :)

Beautiful stay on a lovely island, Nira gave us clear instructions and met us at the parking location which made it super easy to access the place. You will need to board a ferry (we got the car ferry) which does make the travel to the apartment slightly longer than if staying on the mainland, but a great way to experience the island. Exceeded all expectations, easy walk into town and great hikes, a perfect balance of secludedness while also not too far from the Hvar town and a supermarket at the end of the road! Highly recommend, as well as a friendly cat for cuddles made our stay :)

Ela’s apartment was spotless and great for a place to stay in Hvar. It’s just enough away from the main drag to be quiet but not so far that you can’t walk. Due to the terrain it’s a hilly walk back so I wouldn’t want to go back and forth during the day, but that matched my travel style perfectly. The washing machine worked great and so did everything else I used. The layout of the apartment is a bit odd (kitchen on one side of the entry and bedroom on another). If everyone is sleeping in the bedroom this is a non-issue but it could be weird if someone is sleeping in the day bed in the kitchen. Not a problem; just something to be aware of. If you’re looking for something, it’s probably there. Just look around. This happened to me with clothespins. I found it hard to navigate there but I don’t think that was Ela’s fault. I didn’t go to the parking - I just walked and got turned around. After I did it once, it got much easier. Additionally the nature of Hvar makes walking here challengi

Petar is a great host. The Apartment is pretty and has everything you need. The whole surrounding ( like the pool, garden etc) is beautifully designed and you can relax totaly. The only thing I noticed was, that the walls are quite thin, but that is quite common from what I know 😄 Anyway, if I am back in Hvar, I would totaly come back. And a tip for future guests: Book a car in advance, you will need it - Suncity is great. They also bring the car to the port if you want.

The unit itself was amazing! Getting to it with luggage was a little difficult but we did end up finding a ramp near the grocery store that made it much easier to get down! The location was peaceful and the unit had everything we needed! Would recommend this place!

Pjer’s place absolutely exceeded all expectations – it deserves more than 5 stars! We adored our stay. The garden was a lifesaver as the weather warmed up, offering the perfect shady oasis to relax in. The location is ideal: wonderfully peaceful and private, yet just steps away from everything. The nearest beach is less than a 3-minute walk, and the closest grocery store is equally convenient. Everything else you’d need is within easy walking distance. We highly recommend this gem to respectful guests looking for a serene getaway. You will absolutely LOVE it here! PS: Be prepared for delightful visits from the friendliest local cats – they added so much charm to our stay 💛

Increible apartment in Hvar. It was very near the main pier. The view outstanding and Francesco was incredibly kind with us sharind local recommendations and offering help at any time. We were 5 in the apartment and were really comfortable. Definetively a place I would like to visit again with my family!

Slavica was helpful and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Slavica collected us from the harbour and surprised us with an early check in! The apartment was exactly as described, squeaky clean with a huge, comfortable bed, beautiful linen sheets and a gorgeous terrace boasting beautiful ocean views. Following a short 8 minute walk you can reach the town and restaurants, aswell as beaches. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be coming back. We spent a week at this beautiful lower level condo. Had a great view and walkable to town of Hvar and the beach. We did have a car so we did explore other beaches throughout the Island. We loved the fast food restaurant right next door and the shaded parking.

We really enjoyed staying at this apartment. It had everything we possibly needed for a and the location was great - just a couple of minutes away from the center so that you could walk there but also not close enough for us to hear the noise of the town at night. We specially liked the little terrace with an incredible view where we had breakfast sometimes. Višnja was also super friendly, helpful and attentive. We felt really comfortable and would stay here again if we come back to Hvar. 😊

This rental property is so great. Our family arrived overtired, soaked from the rain, not feeling well from a very rough catamaran ride from Dubrovnik, and we were so hungry. This accommodation turned it all around! They left us a box of pasta and red sauce (we were all beyond grateful) and a stocked kitchen with so many helpful and special and generous add-ons. Beds were comfy. There is a market very close by for immediate food and beverages. The view was beautiful. It's an easy walk to and from the Ferry Port of Hvar... and all of the fun places in town. We rented e-bikes from Antonio Rent... which we highly recommend... also not far from this airbnb. Exploring by e-bike is such an efficient and fun way to visit so many places in one day... then coming home to this airbnb for a solid place to sleep, was perfect. This airbnb and the bike tour were so instrumental in turning things around, and making Hvar our favorite stop in Croatia. Coffee machine is Top Notch!

Great location, clean, and inviting. Felt right at home on arrival. WiFi and AC worked great which was really helpful navigating the area and AC was incredible during the heat wave going on. The host provided directions to the apartment in picture form which came in handy when we arrived off the ferry, didn’t have a way to navigate at the time. Host was accommodating and responded quickly. Couldn’t ask for more!

Perfect apartment ! We visited Hvar for the first time and absolutely loved everything about it. And the apartment was part of it. Litteraly everything you need from the spacious rooms, two balconies and perfectly equipped kitchen with everything you need in case you want to make a homemade meal. Everything was immaculate and super clean as well. Really there is nothing negative to say about this place ! The location was also very good and everything was easily reachable. Would definitely recommend it 100%. If I could give more than 5 stars I would have. Don’t hesitate !! People at the agency were also very helpful with giving recommendations and drove us to the airbnb so we didn’t have to walk and kept our luggage how long we wanted.

Anamarija was the best host we had our whole vacation. she met us at the door and walked us through everything. she was available at all times if we needed anything, and provided her recommendations for local food. the apartment was spotless, and perfect for what we needed. we would definitely stay there again.
