Villa holiday rentals in Grad Hvar

We just had the most wonderful time in Hvar and in Vesnas apartment! Vesnas husband picked us up at the harbour and brought us to the house, which is really only 3-5min from the city centre. There we were greeted by Vesna and she showed us our apartment for the next week. The apartment is perfect for two and has everything one needs. The small kitchen is absolutely sufficient to cook your own meals and spare some money, since the restaurants in Hvar are pretty expensive, comparing to the rest of croatia. I loved the balcony with sea view and theres even a big terrace one can use. But because of the view to the sea and the monastery we always sat at the balcony ;). I really appreciated the big bathroom, I never had such a high standard bathroom in croatia or the balkans before. The whole place was spotless clean. Only 2min from Vesnas house is a small beach, but I recommend to walk some minutes more in direction to Milna for better swimming possibilities - or take the Bus to Milna or Dubovica or of course Taxi boat to the pakleni islands (mlini beach was my favourite). Hvar in high season really is a party town. Since there is so much to do and see we never had problems to avoid the teenage party crowd but be aware that it can get noisy in the night, if you like to sleep with open windows and have a light sleep ;) Communication with Vesna was always very easy, she's so nice and we and provided us with a lot of recommandations concerning where to go and where to eat, that was very helpful. I really fell in love with the island and the apartment and if I ever come again, i would choose her apartment anytime again.

Vesna and her family were lovely people. The apartment is in a great location close to all the action but far enough for peace and quiet. Hope to return one day.

A lovely spot in Stari Grad, one of our favorite stops in Croatia. It’s quiet and charming, and the house is very well located close to everything. Lots of steps to walk up, that’s the only issue if you have limited mobility.

We had a fabulous time. The view from the terrace is beautiful and on foot you are at the sea in a few minutes. Goran and Janica were always responsive, welcomed us very warmly and provided us with great information! We would definitely come back.

I had the great fortune of staying in Vesna's Sunny Pearl appartement. The appartement is one of many in her truly amazing house. The room is spacious with all det amenities you will need, and a lovely porch with great view over - what i believe to be - the east side of the harbor and the Franciscan Monastery. The area is quiet and calm. Vesna is a great host and always makes sure that you have everything you need. Her family is kind and welcoming. When I come back, this will be my first choice of accommodation.

Vesnas property was a gorgeous stay and only a short walk away from the marina where all the main bars and restaurants are. Vesna herself was very welcoming and would help us with anything we asked. Would definitely recommend staying here if you come to Hvar and of course I will be back!

Very tastefully and beautifully refurbished old houses in a very tiny village overlooking the sea. Very quiet, peaceful and secluded location. Perfect for kids roaming in the main street (which cannot accomodate cars) and lots of cats to play with :-)

We were surprised to find the house had 3.5 bathrooms and not just two, which was a huge bonus. The upstairs large room is separate from the three on the lower level. All are wonderful. The house was even better than we imagined but what makes the experience is the hosts that make you feel like family. The only mistake you can make is staying less than a week and we unfortunately made that mistake. Definitely coming back. The place you park is about a 10 minute walk uphill but the hosts regularly drove us up and offered to buy groceries in town. Make sure to get a dinner and taste the wine. Both are incredible. A truly magical experience.

We enjoyed our stay in beautiful quaint Stari Grad. The apartment is located on the square, convenient to the harbor and restaurants! It is beautifully decorated with plenty of room for a family. We appreciated the beach towels and beach bags as we used them both. Stari Grad has a very local feel which we loved!

Stayed here with a group of 12 girls, the apartments are spacious and comfortable, the location is perfect it’s a short walk to the centre with so many great restaurants to choose from around. Suzana and her mother were brilliant hosts, they offered plenty of amenities and went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. There was no hassle with leaving our bags for the day after check out. There are shops and swimming spots right next to the villa, could not recommend this stay enough!!

This Villa is AMAZING!! Perfect for a large group stay, just a 7 min walk from the center of Hvar. Beautiful views and plenty of room to spread out even with a large group. Frane is very kind and helpful. I would 1000% recommend this stay to anyone looking for a large, beautiful home in Hvar.

Zimmer was an excellent host. From the booking to the check out to the driver - he was so helpful. The apartment is beautiful. Especially good for families and a long stay. The games room was a real surprise. The jacuzzi would be lovely too but we had too little time. Grea value ! The walk is strenuous so not for the faint hearted. Neven was so reliable as the driver.! This is my best Air BnB experience and apartment. Kudos to Zimmer and the team

Outstanding! we arrived just before sunset and our concierge was there to check us in and show us around. the villa is superb! Clean, spacious, comfortable, with all the modern amenities in an old world setting. The home has been built/restored in a manner that blends seamlessly into the historic fabric of Zarace village. there are two wonderful beaches a short walk away and Hvar town is 10 minutes by car. If you are looking for a quiet and private retreat close to town but out if the hubbub, this is the one!

Very large house, practically divided into three separate apartments with a really well-made pool. Alen and her friends were very helpful and thoughtful to make sure we didn't miss anything.

We loved our stay in Hvar. The house was in the most perfect location, spotlessly clean and tidy, beautiful interiors and comfortable beds! The pool was perfect for a dip after a hard day at the beach club. Highly recommend and would love to one day visit this wonderful Island sanctuary again.

Mirjana's residence is the most beautiful place I've been. The photos and description don't reflect how wonderful and atmospheric this place is. The perfect space to relax in a quiet and shady place, a clean pool with a place to lie down, a well-maintained and beautifully decorated garden, well-equipped and beautifully decorated cottages, and a very comfortable outdoor kitchen with a grill. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful, close to the city and a large grocery store. Close to bike and walking paths. The contact with Mirjana was very good, she responded quickly and concretely. She gave valuable advice and tips. I think we'll be sure to come back and recommend this wonderful paradise to all of your friends.

We had an amazing time at this place! The shared living area was absolutely beautiful and ideal for group activities like cooking, playing cards, and watching the sunset. The location was perfect, within walking distance to a cozy town filled with great restaurants, charming shops, stunning waterfront views, and rich history. Our host went above and beyond by arranging a driver who took us everywhere we wanted to explore. We also thoroughly enjoyed the pool and found the peaceful yard to be incredibly relaxing. Highly recommend!

Our group rented Ante's place for a few days, it was a great quiet place to relax and we all loved the pool. Would definitely come back

We had 4 nice days in Mario's house. Mario is a good and cozy host, who takes good care of his animals around the house. It's a fun place for kids. A very good base to discover the beautiful island and to take a refreshing dip in the nice swimming pool after visiting the beautiful bays.

We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Hvaretta Villas. It is a peaceful location and a large spacious villa. The pool was a good size, with lots of areas to lounge in. We used the pool a lot as it was a very hot stay! Tereza was very helpful with local recommendations and hiring the golf cart. We visited the local cove which has beautiful clear water. We would definitely recommend a stay in Hvaretta Villa!
