Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Government of Rotterdam

From a start it was all perfect. Rob and his wife were very responsive, before check-in, during and after. Perfect location and if you need anything they are waiting for you to have it. The house is prepared in detail and everything is very neat and neat. We will be back without hesitation!!!

Lovely little house, easy to get to from neighbouring villages and cities. Comfortable bedrooms, very well equipped kitchen and some exta's that make your stay comfortable (such as coffee, salt, pepper, oil, kitchen towels and dishwasher tablets). We'd brought most of these ourselves, but it's a rare find and make the place just that little bit more homely. Road noise at night time is there, mostly in the front bedroom, but not a major issue. Kirsten was very proactive and we'd definitely stay here again when visiting family in the future.

Beautiful spacious apartment. Ideal for a city trip. More affordable and much more space than a hotel room. Car is safely parked behind a fence behind the house. The Albert Heijn is around the corner, so shopping is quick. We walked to the center, but with rain we also easily used an Uber. The Splashbus is recommended for children. Ideal apartment of 4 floors.

The house is an historical Dutch house, direct on a canal- absolutely quiet, charming neighborhood with chickens next door and a wonderful bakery right around the corner. The kitchen is on the ground floor, an elegant living- and dining room on the first floor with hardwood floors. Then VERY steep stairs (not for the weak of heart, small children or people with knee problems) going up to the 2nd floor with a big master bedroom and a smaller bedroom with bunk beds (not really good for us, a group of five 68-72 yr old women) and a nice bathroom with plenty of room. The top floor had a „double“ bed, but too narrow for two of us, and a small bath. I think 6 adults would be a tight squeeze in the house unless they‘re all young and cozy with each other. Schidam is a charming suburb of R‘damm, where we never would have gone if we hadn’t booked the house there. All in all, a WONDERFUL house and well worth the extra travel to and from R‘damm.

For our first visit to Rotterdam, Carola's apartment in Schiedam was very conveniently located - the tram stop only 3 minutes' walk from the apartment. In addition, the apartment is located directly on the pretty old town of Schiedam - a small walk and cafe visit is also worthwhile here. A variety of shopping and restaurants were just a short walk away. There were five of us traveling and we had enough space for all of us with three bedrooms and a very large kitchen. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms remained pleasantly cool and quiet due to their location in the basement. The contact with Carola was totally great. She always responded very quickly and helped us with all our concerns. We would love to come back when we visit the wonderful, lively and modern city of Rotterdam next time. Barbara

Oskar is a great host. He was ready to meet us as soon as we arrived and went through everything we needed to know. Apartment was filled with everything we could possibly need for our stay and was immaculate. Location is great, just a 5 min walk from Centraal station. Would highly recommend.

The apartment is wonderfully located and you have a great view. It is very large and easily usable for four people. We felt very comfortable in Caspar's apartment.

Spacious apartment with great views! From the large balcony, we looked straight at the town hall. In the middle of the city center, with a supermarket under the apartment. Tram at the door. In the apartment, nothing of the hustle and bustle can be heard from outside. We were well received on arrival. Host was easily accessible. Recommended!

Had a great stay at Wim. Very helpful host. Great location just minutes from the metro. comfortable bed and a really hot shower. Even had a tea-pot. Highly recommend anyone to stay here.

Really enjoyed our short stay in the apartment. We liked the high ceilings and large windows. The bathroom was spotless. Very convenient location, especially for Jazz Cafe Dizzy! Overall our stay was very comfortable.

Me and my partner had a great experience at Frans' in Schiedam, the apartment is quiet and has a very cozy vibe. The location is great, with tram and bus stops 4 minutes away on foot it's very easy to move around, and the neighbourhood is very walkable and pretty. Frans is super friendly and helpful, he checked with us regularly to make sure everything was ok throughout our stay. Highly recommended if you're in the area!

great location and lovely place

Great stay, my in laws loved it. Walking distance to delftshaven, close to my son flat, close the main roads and convenient for visiting nearby cities with the car we rented. The sleeping room is very silent and comfortable.

beautiful spacious place, located in the heart of the historic town. in nice weather you can use the lovely terrace. inside very clean, equipped with everything you could need. the host is very nice and communicative. highly recommended!

This place was perfect for me as a solo traveler. Mike and Sevim were supper nice and responsive to all questions I had. Very close to markets, coffee and restaurants. I wasn't sure by the description how private it would be, but there is no issues with privacy. Mike and Sevim are fantastic people and we were able to have a beer and break bread together on an evening or two. Fantastic stay and worth every penny.
