We have been visiting the Poconos for a number of years. Finally, we had decided to move there permanently…haven’t looked back since. This area is everything outdoorsy kind of people can look for – so much to see and do! As far as the chalet, we have been told by multiple groups that the kitchen is very well-stocked. The place is prepared with the intention of making it a themed, cozy, affordable, and above all clean place where our guests can enjoy themselves, no matter where they come from.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Sunset Cabin! It was super cozy and spotless, with the most peaceful surroundings. You could tell Michelle put a lot of thought into making it feel like a real retreat. The hot tub was a total highlight - perfect for unwinding after a day outdoors. Michelle was an amazing host, super responsive, and made us feel right at home. The late checkout was a lovely bonus. If you're looking to escape and enjoy nature, we'd totally recommend this spot. Thanks again!

Our stay was amazing! We stayed for a week on our honeymoon and we really enjoyed the place. When we arrived we noticed the host decorated our room for our honeymoon and had the whole house nice and clean for us! We had plenty to do at the at house with all of the board games and movies we could watch, let alone the nice atmosphere outside. If we had any questions, we could ask the host anytime for help. The house was located in a nice and clean area as well. Would recommend staying!

We had a wonderful stay at the Lyman Lodge in Gouldsboro. The house was cozy and had everything we needed for our 3-day staycation. Alexandra was so easy to communicate with and we really appreciated her flexibility in allowing a late checkout to accommodate for our toddler's nap. Highly recommend for anyone who is looking for a great place to stay in the area!

Absolutely flawless. I’m extremely picky about lodging, and Jamal’s place was truly perfect. As others have said, it is better than pictures can possibly show. Every detail has been carefully thought through, and it is clear great care has been taken to ensure a comfortable experience for guests. It has a spa-like feel to it. The linens, soaps, etc make it feel like a luxury hotel. The area is safe and private, and the lake is just steps away out the back door. Jamal is the most responsive host we’ve encountered, and is very kind and helpful. This is a place we’d make a special trip to visit again.
