Stayed here with 2 kids. Beautiful flat, amazing views over the lake and an ideal location just a short walk into the town and from the train station. The main bed was SO comfy, heating was very quick to kick in and cosy. Kitchen well equipped. Thank you.

Lovely and well-thought out apartment. Perfect for couples or digital nomads. Benjamin put great thought and detail into the space, which had everything we needed--even hot water bottles, blankets, and chargers. The neighborhood is beautiful, quiet, and walkable, and we enjoyed the local restaurants and live music. The apartment had lots of windows, a comfortable bed, and plenty of dish-ware and cutlery to cook. Benjamin is friendly, helpful, and quick to respond, and the space was clean and well-furnished. Would recommend to anyone, and am hoping to one day return!

We had the most amazing stay. Rebecca and Tony were the loveliest hosts, ensuring we had all the information we needed for our adventures (which were wonderful and aplenty). We’re so grateful to the whole family for making our stay so welcoming. It was a pleasure to stay in this beautiful property and to explore the local area. It really is an enchanting place, lush and green with so much to see and do. We were struck by the rich biodiversity of the region and how quiet and pristine it is. As a family who are passionate about nature and enjoy nothing more than spending time together outdoors, this was the prefect base. The property is nestled amongst tree-covered hills with beautiful wildflower meadows spanning the valley and you’ll find a stream at the bottom of the garden. The balcony offers dreamy views out towards the picturesque landscape where you can enjoy the soothing soundtrack of birds, the bells of the goats on the hillside and the stream. A little slice of paradise!

Christine war äusserst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Zudem hat sie immer sehr zeitnah auf etwaige Anliegen reagiert. Das Zimmer oder besser gesagt die Wohnung besticht durch ihre wunderschöne Architektur und perfekte Nutzbarkeit (es fehlt fast an nichts). Auch der Hausmeister war äusserst freundlich und konnte noch den ein oder anderen Tip geben. Besorgungen können innerhalb von 10min Fahrzeit in der Nähe gemacht werden. Besser geht es wirklich nicht mehr. Wir kommen sicher wieder und empfehlen Christine gerne weiter.

One of the Best Airbnb Stays We've Had! This villa was truly one of the best Airbnb properties we’ve ever stayed in. It’s a spacious house with all modern amenities, beautifully maintained and perfectly located. The views of the Black Forest from both the living room and bedroom were absolutely stunning. The large balcony with a dining table made it perfect for enjoying meals with a breathtaking view. The villa also has a beautiful garden and a lovely outdoor sitting area, perfect for relaxing in the peaceful surroundings. The private sauna and wellness area were a fantastic bonus — we wish we had booked a couple more days to enjoy it even more! Melanie was a wonderful and friendly host, making our stay even more comfortable. Just a note for future guests: having your own transportation is essential, as there’s no public transport nearby. We’re already looking forward to visiting again!

A really comfortable and well equipped house on the edge of the Black Forest. Very nice "sun lounge" to relax in overlooking the garden. Wood-fired sauna was well used during our stay. This was a good central location for getting to and from the centres for the Schluchtensteig.

We had a fantastic stay and truly wish our travel plans had allowed us to stay longer. The home was spotless and beautifully furnished. The bedrooms were quiet and comfortable, and the bathrooms were clean and modern. Thoughtful touches like the provided slippers and the Nespresso machine (with great coffee!) made us feel right at home. Our boys especially loved playing the Super Nintendo—it was a fun surprise and kept them entertained in the morning before checkout. The house had everything we could have asked for, and having parking right out front was a huge help since we were traveling with a large van and a group of seven. The welcome book was also a nice touch, full of clear instructions and great local tips on what to do and where to eat. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Rundum begeistert 👍😍. Wir waren 1 Woche zu Zweit mit unseren Vierbeinern in der wunderschönen Unterkunft von Petra und Roger. Bereits vor Antritt unserer Reise hatten wir einen so freundlichen Kontakt mit Petra und Roger. Alles verlief von Anfang bis Ende einfach wunderbar. Die Unterkunft ist ein Traum, sauber, wunderschön eingerichtet, mit viel Privatsphäre und mit Allem, was das Herz begehrt 🙏❤. Die Lage ist perfekt, mit sehr vielen Möglichkeiten an Ausflügen (Wutachschlucht, Schluchsee, Rheinfall, Titisee, Bodensee, Zürich u.v.m.). Ein perfekter Ort, um Ruhe und Erholung auf dem Land zu genießen und trotzdem viel ansehen zu können. Last but not least, sind Petra und Roger perfekte, liebevolle Gastgeber 😍, die immer erreichbar waren und mit wertvollen Tipps zu Seite standen. Einfach 5 Sterne 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 für Alle und Alles 👍🙏. Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt und einen richtigen Wow-Effekt, als wir das Haus über die 3 Stockwerke betraten. Alles ist neu und modern, super schick eingerichtet und blitz blank. Mit einer Gruppe von 8 Erwachsenen hatten wir alles, was wir gebraucht haben und konnten sogar spontan einen Grillabend machen. Carolin hat sehr schnell auf Nachrichten reagiert und war extrem zuvorkommend. Ich kann einen Aufenthalt hier zu 100% weiterempfehlen! :)

Doris en haar man waren vriendelijke verhuurders. De locatie is een goede uitvalsbasis voor bezoek aan de vele musea in Basel en omgeving. Het dorpje heeft op loopafstand een goed restaurant en de accommodatie zelf is zeer geschikt voor minder validen.

Bereits beim Öffnen der Haustür fiel auf, wie liebevoll und durchdacht die Wohnung eingerichtet ist. Jeder Raum ist etwas ganz Besonderes. Die Wohnung ist mit allem Nötigen ausgestattet und während meines Aufenthalts hat es mir an nichts gefehlt. Das lichtdurchflutete Büro eignet sich bestens, um remote zu arbeiten und dabei den Ausblick ins Grüne zu genießen. Ich habe die herzlichen Gespräche und die Empfehlungen für die Region sehr genossen und werde ganz sicher noch einmal wiederkommen. Die Wohnung und die Umgebung sind perfekt, um dem stressigen Alltag zu entfliehen und die Seele baumeln zu lassen.

Edith’s Airbnb was the cutest and most welcoming Airbnb I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in. Edith is super friendly and her treatment of the apartment made us feel right at home. If I ever visit Switzerland again I’m definitely staying here! PS: would recommend car travel for a place like Switzerland

het huis bevat twee appartementen, een op begane grond en een eerste verdieping. Grote appartementen, prima wifi, schoon, leuke binnenplaats van de winegood. leuke kunst aan de muur.

Wir haben uns in der Wohnung direkt wohl gefühlt. Die Küche ist mit allem möglichen ausgestattet, es gibt viele Spiele und Bücher - auch ein Geduldspiel, das wir leider nicht lösen konnten 😅 In ca 8 min an der Bushaltestelle, wobei der Bus am Sonntag nur sehr sporadisch fährt. Zu Fuß ist man aber auch in ca 15-20 min am Paula-Modersohn-Platz und von dort mit der Stadtbahn Richtung Freiburg. Würden auf jeden Fall nochmal kommen!

Dit was de eerste keer, dat een appartement helemaal overeen kwam met de foto’s! Alle ruimtes hebben we kunnen gebruiken, wat in andere Airbnbs meestal niet het geval is. De host reageerde erg snel. De locatie is subliem, met diverse tram- en buslijnen om de hoek. Een royale supermarkt, een leuk park met paviljoen, een dierentuin, het stadscentrum: alles op slechts een paar honderd meter afstand.

Easily one of the best places I have stayed in during a vacation. Gerhard was a wonderful host. Very friendly and welcoming. Would recommend this place for anyone visiting this region. Cheers!

Die Wohnung von Jessica und Daniel hat unsere Erwartungen voll erfüllt. Sie ist sehr sauber und schön in den Weinbergen gelegen. Eine schöne Umgebung zum Wandern oder für Ausflüge in den Europapark und Rulantica . Die Kommunikation war prima und es hat alles reibungslos geklappt. Sollten wir wieder einmal in die Richtung kommen buchen wir wieder bei euch . Danke für alles und macht weiter so 👍

The apartment was spacious with a separate bedroom. The kitchen was well equipped. We appreciated the balcony on beautiful spring mornings. The location was great and the old town was a short walk away. Do NOT use Apple maps to navigate to the apartment as it doesn’t navigate accurately – use Google maps instead. If using as a base , recommend drive to Château du Haut-Kœnigsbourg Jeremie was a very helpful & friendly host.
