Lake house holiday rentals in Glen Lake

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful first getaway at Sarah’s place. The property was peaceful, private, and the perfect spot to relax and unwind. We had a great time visiting Na-Tah-Ka, exploring Ludington, the Silver Lake Sand Dunes, and more — but some of our favorite moments were just spent enjoying the quiet beauty of the property itself. We’ll definitely be back to soak in the tranquility and natural surroundings again. Sarah was a kind and responsive host, and her place is absolutely worth the stay. 🌲

This is perhaps the best rental we’ve found after years of going up to the Leelanau Peninsula. The location is perfect, the layout of the home is comfortable and spacious, and it has every amenity a family needs to hunker down for a stay. Simply put, it’s everything a family could ask for when staying in the Northport area. Also, hosts are very responsive and friendly to any and all questions.

The hosts were very responsive and communicative. The AC kind of went out and the hosts promptly got someone out to fix it. The setting was beautiful! We enjoyed a couple days on the boat (Northaire rentals), then did day trips to Sleeping Bear Dunes and Mackinac Island and then a down day with the kayaks and SUP. My husband enjoyed fishing off the Dockside Pier. We enjoyed ice cream at Moomers, local cider at Royal Farms and our best meal at Toonie’s for Friday fish fry. Us southerners should have been better prepared for colder water and later seasons. The longer days also threw us for a loop but still a great first trip to Michigan!

Host was very friendly and very responsive! House was beautifully decorated, clean and very well stocked. Quiet at night and peaceful location across from Long Lake. Would definitely stay there again!

Another wonderful stay with our family in this property and it's turning into a tradition! Great house, location and host. Clean inside and out, very organized and easy to feel at home. We had a great stay at Jason’s home. Lake was wonderful, fire was lovely, home was clean and there was plenty to do. We would stay again!!

We rented this for a winter getaway. The home was lovely and our family of 8 had a wonderful time. Playing ping-pong and other games, enjoying the fire place and having plenty of space to cook and enjoy meals together were some of our favorite inside activities. Being so close to trails meant we found lots of opportunities to be outside, too. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

I can’t recommend the Cherry Pit enough - the home is beautiful, the view is great, and the private pier is so nice to have! My kids went kayaking and swimming in the lake (even though it was chilly!) - so nice to have this option. The hosts are fantastic and provided so many extras like Keurig pods, laundry soap, etc. I loved this place, thank you for hosting us!

We stayed for a weekend with family and our fur babies and had an amazing time. Courtney let us check in earlier which was nice of her and we got to enjoy the water. The water was just as described crystal clear. House was super clean and cozy. We will definitely stay again next year.

The house was just as described. The hosts were very responsive to messages. The kitchen had what we needed to cook meals. There was lots of extra,unexpected, things that were great. The makeup remover pads, all of the soap, shampoo, conditioner, dish soap, even detergent were all provided. Plus there was plenty of hot water for 5 adults to shower. Our pups loved the fenced yard. Easily one of the best Airbnb’s we’ve been to. Jim was very responsive and kept us informed, and his assistant Jenny was there at check in to show us a tour of the house. The attention to details was amazing, and we felt like it was a home away from home. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the Traverse City area.

The place was a perfect stay for our day of golf at Arcadia. Hosts were great and responded quickly with anything we need. Including checking on things we potentially left behind. They could not have been more spot on referring us to Grille 44 for drinks and dinner, walkable if you’re up for it. 10/10 would stay here again!

Where do I start… this was the perfect getaway for myself, my husband and our fur baby. The house was exactly as described and is placed in the most peaceful neighborhood - while also being minutes away from everything Traverse City has to offer! Ramy is the most wonderful host; answering all our questions and suggesting some great local spots as well. We felt immediately at ease and truly could enjoy our vacation thanks to Ramy and this perfect lil home. We hope to be back next time we visit Traverse City! ☺️

We had a wonderful stay. This house was well equipped in the kitchen, baths and bedrooms with quality, newer, matching pans/utensils, towels and bedding. Plenty of paper products as well. Lots of space for 7 adults, including a very comfortable living room (2nd on lower level) and beautiful deck with plenty of seating and even a Solo wood stove!

We stayed here for 6 days. 4 adults, three kids. The house is as pictured. It has plenty of sleeping space, living area was large enough for all of us to hang out during the rain. The house itself is very clean, insanely well organized and equipped, and great views of the lake from almost everywhere. The front yard and dock were a great place to relax and go for a dip. The sunsets are beautiful as described. The house is tucked in down a small road but enough to be away from the street noise. For walkers/runners/bikers, the roads are beautiful rolling hills with barely any cars (just cross the main street to the other side of the hill and go up the side streets). A great rental boat place is half a mile than the road, we rented a boat for two days and made our way down to the sand dunes. We loved the house, the location and all the little towns. The side yard is safe and quite for kids to roam around. And the owners are very responsive and informative. We will be back for sure.

We love crystal lake and this cozy place reminded us of what could’ve been granny’s lake house with a updated twist. Made us want to just move right in and live there. A weekend stay was not long enough by any means.

We loved this hidden little gem and just like the little gems we found around the Michigan and costal area. This place is super clean and has everything you would need. The hot tub, game room, lake close by and the fire pit is all a bonus. WE ALSO LOVE THE FACT THAT THIS PLACE IS DOG FRIENDLY!! Lots of great memories were made and thanks to this wonderful little cabin!

House was great, rope swing was a huge hit for our children. 5 and 4 year olds were able to make the walk multiple times to the beach. It was a peaceful and quiet stay. Managed to hit the Manistee river for some trout fishing. Carolyn was very responsive and accommodating. Great host!

This cute and clean little cottage was perfect for us. We had been traveling to Leland for many years and knew the area well. We knew by the location that this would be a perfect spot for us. The cottage is as described. Easy walk to restaurants and shops. We will definitely stay here again.

This place is PERFECTION! The pictures don’t do it justice. House was in amazing shape, incredibly stocked kitchen, incredible views. We had the most amazing week and are already ready to book again!

Our family enjoyed our stay and it was the perfect jumping off point to explore Glen Arbor, Empire, and Sleeping Bear Dunes. We had twelve people in our group, and the bedroom configuration, kitchen, living, and outdoor spaces suited us perfectly. An extra bathroom would have been helpful at times but we made it work! Corrina was an excellent and very responsive host. We had a great time and the area was beautiful. Totally recommend.
