Family-friendly holiday rentals in Gironde estuary

Myself and 7 friends spend 3 nights here and we had the most incredible stay. It is rare to book a unit where there are no bad bedrooms, but all 5 bedrooms in this unit were perfection! Comfortable beds, strong air conditioning, and full private bathrooms in each bedroom. The kitchen and living room spaces were equally as great, and the hot tub was the cherry on top! We also loved the location right next to the park and walking distance from all the city's main attractions.

Stephane and Sylvie were amazing hosts. They gave us great local recommendations, organised a personal winery tour for us and booked in a massage. The location is beautiful, peaceful setting and the pool was fantastic. We booked to have breakfast one morning - it was stunning. Beautiful presentation and lovely food. We highly recommend staying here - truley relaxing.

We had a very good time in this accommodation, we will probably come back! The jacuzzi is really great and allows an optimal relaxing break in a very quiet green setting.

Excellent stay at Sophie's, the accommodation is ideal for a couple, there is everything as at home. Very quiet environment, and the restaurant recommended by Sophie was excellent.

Perfect apartment for 1 family with 2 children or 3 adults We would have really felt at home, everything was there. Beautiful independent terrace visually and with the hot tub. The person dedicated to reception/checkout is responsive and very nice. If I have a chance, I'll pick it up right away Don't hesitate!!!

A charming cottage very close to st emilion town and very close to the station. Sophie was very kind to pick us up and really helpful with suggestions on good restaurants and places to visit. This is the second time we have stayed at Loustalet. Need I say more? Extremely comfortable home, everything we needed for a family holiday. Nightingales sang in the woods, buzzards and kites soared above us and we were visited by hares and deer in the garden. The house is well situated for what we needed in Castillion la Bataille and close enough to enjoy Saint Emilion and Libourne. Our host was extremely attentive and helpful yet respected our privacy and we are surely to return again.

Beautiful setting, peaceful and quiet. Great base to explore the area, but you'll need a car! Rauzan 5 minutes down the road has everything you'll need, bakery, butchers, groceries and pizza restaurant! A great place to relax, would recommend to anyone.
