We had a great stay at Christine and Serge's place. We were able to enjoy a quiet place with many amenities at our disposal. In addition to the space that was clean and well furnished, there were many items that are available in the kitchen or bathroom. We were completely charmed by the kindness of our hosts as well as the many games or equipment for babies/children. This accommodation is a real gem and you shouldn't hesitate to book it or return again! 😉

The accommodation is excellent for a couple, and the garden is ideal for relaxing and for dogs as it is completely enclosed. It is very well equipped and the pool is a good extra. We have been very comfortable and the attention of the owners has been exceptional, very kind and concerned about our needs but always respecting our privacy. Although we did not understand each other very well because of the language, they have tried very hard to communicate with us. We loved the stay, highly recommended! Thank you very much for everything!😊

the property is located in a beautiful village. At the corner of small streets very representative of the architecture of the island of Oléron we found this little haven of peace. This old Chaix is beautifully appointed and its overlooked terrace makes you feel at home. Another advantage the shops and restaurants are nearby and of remarkable quality.

Rémi and his wife are very friendly and welcoming hosts who allowed us to have a pleasant stay. Cottage arranged with taste, very clean, functional with the basic necessities. Located in a quiet and beautiful countryside, ideal for resting and taking beautiful walks. Cottage to recommend, see and return.

We spent 4 nights in L’Ombraie, we had a brilliant experience. The apartment was perfect for us, the location, facilities and garden. We made great use of the bikes, travelling to L’Herbe and Pointe Cap Ferret, it was a pleasure to cycle on safe paths. Jean was very helpful, organising a lift to the ferry and a replacement bike when one was broken. The vibe in village and surrounding area was very relaxed. Enjoy!

Staying at Nadine’s cottage was the biggest treat on our trip! Nadine was so kind- offering to make reservations for us and giving us wonderful suggestions for things to do in the area. She was super responsive and felt like a dear friend. Her place is so beautiful! Trust me when I say - you absolutely need to book your stay here! It is a gorgeous French cottage built in the 1700’s . Nadine has it decorated so beautifully! We felt like we had stepped into a novel. The grounds are also beautiful. This was our favorite stay on our 2 week trip and I’ve stayed in so many Airbnbs over the years - this little gem was my favorite of all time!

Thanks again to Aurelie for her hospitality. The lodge just fell to the ground. Very clean, the decor was chosen with taste. And the jacuzzi that is there to bring the Final Touch to the lodge 😍 For a romantic weekend, I recommend you go there with your eyes closed ☺️ See you soon!

We had a great time at Manon's place! The cottage is very cozy and in a great setting that allows you to fully enjoy the pool and summer kitchen. But the real plus is Manon who is a host as we would like to see more often: very kind and very attentive, she always made sure that we had everything we needed to feel at home at her best, she was also not avaricious of tips to allow us to make the most of the region! Once again, thank you for everything Manon 😊

We stayed 8 nights with our 1.5 year old daughter and had an amazing stay at Nadine and Regis'! Nadine and Regis were more than adorable with our little one, caring and extremely kind. They made our stay great and we are very grateful. The accommodation is great, clean, practical and it really has everything you need. Nadine and Regis, the pool, the games for the children, the outdoor kitchen, the 2 little goats and especially the calm and the sweetness of life make us recommend ++ this accommodation. We hope to return one day, both for the place and for its hosts. See you soon.

J went above and beyond with helping me find local recommendations, instructions for transportation, & just all around help whenever I needed it. He was so quick to respond and even helped me to organize a private boat tour with oyster tasting, cheese, bread & wine. The house itself was small but great - it was a perfectly adequate size for just the two of us and was pristine. And just because I looked through reviews and photos and didn’t see a mention, there are blinds in the skylights so if you close those the place stays seriously dark, which is nice since we planned to sleep in both mornings!

The balcony door leads to the terrace - to the garden. Very peaceful and quiet place. The host is very caring and foreseen. Great WIFI connection. Beautiful, clean apartment with everything guests need to be comfortable. I especially liked Guillaume welcoming us, providing maps and guidebooks, and a book with instructions for the television, and helpful hints for bicycle use.

The host is very communicative and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The place was lovely, clean, and in a perfect location. We especially appreciated the local winery tour and welcome basket. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed in the area for two nights while passing through, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. Jean-Claude and Monica welcomed us personally with such warmth and kindness, which made us feel at home right away. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and offered everything we needed — the rooms were comfortable, well-equipped, and clearly maintained with great care. We also truly enjoyed our conversations with Jean-Claude and Monica. They were not only wonderful hosts but also such pleasant and interesting people to talk to. Their hospitality added a very personal and special touch to our stay. The surrounding area is beautiful, with excellent options for shopping and dining nearby. We also really enjoyed visiting the winery up on the hill — the wine tastings there were a real highlight. Our children were especially delighted by the friendly hens on the property — such a charming detail that made the stay even more memorable.
