Please visit our website at signaturequiltbandb Signature Quilt Bed and Breakfast is located in Gilbertsville, New York 30 minutes from Oneonta and 45 minutes from Cooperstown. Gilbertsville is one of only two New York villages which are included in the National Historical Register in their entirety. Our Bed and Breakfast is located in a historic 1820s building, which has housed numerous businesses through the years, including a bank and grocery. At one time, it was the print shop that published The Otsego Journal and was formerly the home of Tarot Designing and Printing. The Bed and Breakfast is located on the second floor of the Print Shop. Nestled in this quaint 200-year-old village, it is next to the historic mansion, The Majors Inn, and across from The Value Way Country Store and the studios of various craftspeople and artists. The Bed and Breakfast acquired its name from the 1852 Signature Quilt which is featured along with other antique and contemporary quilts from the Butternut Valley. Our clean, comfortable, and convenient facilities will appeal to those visiting the Gilbertsville area, as well as those interested in quilts and Central New York Leatherstocking history. We will provide a selection of breakfast foods for you to choose from to create your own breakfast. Whether you stay one night or several, you will have a delicious variety of cereals, muffins, breads or cakes to eat. A very nice, private, place - where allows you to relax without seeing/interacting with people. Paul is also very helpful and responsive - you can get almost any help from him quickly. The cottage is great with well interior design. It has everything we need to stay in it for a week. Highly recommend to everyone who is looking for a escape from daily chores and cities. We will definitely come back and stay longer in this lovely space.

My husband Bob and I enjoyed our stay, we would love to stay again next time we visit our home town. First of all the private parking is next to the house and because the apartment is on the first floor this makes for easy loading and unloading . Very pleasant relaxing private backyard with decorative tables chairs and plants . We found the street location be quite. The apartment is tastefully decorated it was just the right size for up to 3 people . The kitchen was well stocked with some extra's I didn't expect such as coffee creamer, also in the bathroom were unexpected extra's such as shower steamers makeup remover. I had a malfunction with the coffee makers and contacted Martha she came over right away and provided a replacement . Martha is a charming and personable host .
