Apartment holiday rentals in Gières

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fabian’s apartment. It is spacious and very comfortable with lots of natural light and cross ventilation. Overlooks restaurants and street but not noisy , just the nice hum of people chatting. Fans in bedrooms appreciated. Blackout rolling blinds were great for sleeping in on the comfortable beds. Living room furniture comfortable and dining table big enough for 6 people. Shower was great. Kitchen good for what we needed. Walkable to wonderful bakeries and restaurants as well as grocery and general stores. Hiked up to the Bastille and took telepherique back down. Easy bus to Museum of the French Revolution. Accessible to train and bus stations. Easy to get Uber. Would 100% recommend staying here when in Grenoble. !!

Not bland and sterile like some b&bs or hotel rooms, but be prepared for it to feel like borrowing a friend's home. Some rooms/ cupboards off limits. Everything you need to cook. Comfy bed. Spacious living area with lovely light and a balcony looking over a fantastic garden. Clean shower room (no plug for bath) and separate loo. We had a few queries about getting into the apartment and Grenoble itself and Rita was very helpful and timely with her responses. We had to give some general information about ourselves and our trip but this is understandable when she's letting out her home to strangers.

This is the 3rd stay. This house is nothing to describe. Everything is well stocked, it's like staying in your own home. If you want to stay in Grenoble, it is definitely recommended. In fact, this house is so comfortable that you want to hide it. It is a place where the host's kindness and quiet and private privacy are perfectly guaranteed. I plan to stay here again next year. Christiane, Bernard and we were well taken care of by your mother. Thank you for your kindness, consideration, and everything. We hope you always have a happy time.

Marie’s place was perfect! We had a problem with the water pressure when we checked in but we sent a note to Marie and she took care of it immediately. The showers were great after that! The apartment is in such a great area-many restaurants, bars, shopping, and very close to the hikes up to the Bastille and others! Marie always responded quickly to our questions and she helped us with all sorts of info including the bus route to the Grand Chartreuse Monastery. We loved our stay in Grenoble and were very comfortable in Marie’s place!

Lovely apartment in a very nice area. Could walk into town easily. Very responsive hosts. Loved that the hosts left condiments and washing powder etc. very helpful. We have stayed in 3 Airbnb’s in France and have been delighted with each one. The hosts have all been lovely and helpful and generous. I highly recommend Salome and Felix’s apartment. A very good accommodation to spend a few days in peace or to work. Top comfort and amenities (air conditioning, kitchenette). Proximity to a Carrefour market, excellent for shopping. Friendly and available host.

Last-minute booking, Alex was very responsive so that we could drop off our things before the scheduled arrival time and start discovering this beautiful region by motorbike.

Orphee's place was very charming and perfectly located in the heart of Grenoble. The apartment was clean and cozy. There was a bit of a challenge with entry, as I needed to call or text a French number, which was sometimes difficult with my non-French SIM card. I also would have appreciated a few more towels (such as hand or hair towels) as only one per person was provided. Despite these minor issues, I highly recommend this place for anyone staying in Grenoble!

Small apartment very well-located and well-equipped! Inside, there is a binder with many recommendations in the corner. The entrance to the accommodation didn't work at first but Gilles was responsive so everything went well :)

Melanie's apartment worked very well for 3 people to discover the city. You could leave the car in the private parking lot and take the tram to go downtown. The apartment is very clean and with everything you need. Highly recommended!

Although we only stayed one night, the accommodation offered by Marina & Alex was very high quality. Clean, tidy, functional, in a quiet neighborhood and close to the center. We loved it! I highly recommend it!

This was one of the cleanest Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in and clearly very well looked after. The apartment is also beautifully designed, and the neighborhood is just as lovely. I would definitely recommend staying here, especially for couples looking for a peaceful and romantic place to stay.

Sonia and her husband are very friendly and available hosts, it was a pleasure to meet them. The apartment is really great, very clean and spacious. Amenities are quality. The linen provided is like in a hotel 👌 The bonus is the small terrace of the apartment, access to the jacuzzi and the pool. Thanks for recommending the new Latin restaurant El Comedor in Varces, it was very good. We did the Monteynard lake in canoe then the footbridges in hiking easily on the half day: beautiful and few people still in this season. I recommend this place for a romantic weekend, I hope to come back another year!

I recommend it... the neighborhood is simple and you can't imagine that this little gem is hidden! Magnificent escape to Bali. Magali thought of this with great taste. I bought the Elixir Pack for my husband's birthday... it's really worth it. The balneo sleeping area is magical... the kitchen is very practical. Magali is a nice person, very attentive and caring. My stay at Melanie's was perfect! Clean accommodation, very nicely decorated, the bedding was very comfortable. The only small negative point is the fridge, which is quite noisy at night. I would recommend it and would definitely come back again. 😊
