House holiday rentals in Gettysburg

Stunning property, the house and pool were incredible. Loved the peacefulness of the property and the surrounding amenities….. it felt like home!!!

We went on our annual friend trip here and it was incredible. Jeanne was a fabulous host and was so responsive. We tend to ask a lot of questions and Jeanne was always responsive and willing to answer our questions quickly and thoroughly. The driveway to the house is extremely long and very wooded, but the driveway was all paved, so it makes it very easy to drive up to the house. The little details (i.e. the toilet paper being folded into bows, the basket of s'mores ingredients, and the blankets for the fireside) did not go unnoticed and were a great touch! The house is absolutely beautiful and very well-kept and clean. The beds were comfortable and the hot tub was relaxing! We are absolutely thrilled we got a chance to visit this place and we hope to be back soon! Thanks for everything!

The house was great. clean, lots of towels, loved the hot tub. There are two things I would point out. The steps to the upstairs are very hard for people with mobility issues but there are four bedrooms on first floor. There are two single steps on the first floor.

Everyone enjoyed our stay here ! S’mores by the firepit, family games around the huge kitchen table and mornings rocking on the front porch rockers . We wished we could stay longer !!!

A must see for any Harry Potter fans! We were busy with a wedding weekend in nearby Leesburg, and it was a perfect place to be inbetween events. Lots of Hogwarts themed activities, including creative scavenger hunts and two escape rooms. Our kids and grandkids absolutely loved it. It is really a destination all by itself, and Nate was a perfect host.

If I could give Tim’s place more than 5 stars, I would! It’s off the beaten path, but that’s what make his Place so inviting. All the amenities you could hope for! Definitely the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at in the States! Got to chat with Tim on my last night there and it was great. I loved the chocolate chip cookies that were presented upon our arrival. I’m looking forward to visiting his place again, if I can. My grandkids loved playing on the grounds and the dogs 🐶 enjoyed roaming around. This is a gem of a place and I 100% recommend you consider staying there. 1000 Kudos!

We had a wonderful family reunion here with 3 generations. Each family had their own private space but there was tons to do on the property together as well. The hosts were very responsive to our questions and made sure we were comfortable and happy! We appreciated that the kitchen was well stocked, too.

Anne and Chad are fantastic hosts. The B&B is an awesome place with so much history and charm. Its spacious rooms and large backyard offer all the opportunities you could want. The kitchen was completely stocked with all necessary items and the prepared food that was waiting for us was delicious and generous. A perfect place for families with all ages. And no better places for family dogs.

We stayed in Gettysburg for a family wedding and to visit historical Gettysburg. Finding just the right rental is always a fun process for us, as we’d rather not stay in a hotel if possible; The Wolf Den was perfection! We absolutely loved the off-the-beaten-path location and it is such a lovely home. To say Scott and Nicole keep a tidy home is an understatement! Not only was it impeccably clean, but it was so warm and inviting with a little something to admire in each room! We were visited by a mama deer, her yearling and her brand new fawn! We also caught a glimpse of a turkey strolling through the front yard. (Things we miss living in Florida) The tree-filled views are equally breathtaking. If we are in the area again, this is a definite repeat location. Thank you Scott and Nicole ☺️

The stay at Jeff's place was amazing. We didnt spend alot of time at the house but what time we did spend was great! Wish we had more time at the house but it is a beautiful home and spacious. Very easy check in and clear directions! Jeff is very responsive. We would highly recommend this place to stay and are looking forward to staying again next year for the same event.

Where to begin with this review??? I don't know what Airbnb's standard is for hosts and homes but whatever it is, Tierra's place exceeds it. We will forever compare all short term rentals to this one because the bar has been set so high. The first few minutes of our stay, my wife and I walked around the home awestruck by the attention to detail of this home. Tierra goes out of her way with little touches that helps to enhance the experience at her home. I don't think there is anything Tierra hasn't thought of. If you are looking for the perfect place to unwind, relax, and feel at home away from home, this place is it. We can't wait to return!

Clean, cute, and updated house. Loved having the washer and dryer at the end of the trip. Liked that Clay had recommendations of places to eat and visit. His recommendation on Mr. G’s ice cream was spot on, I did not regret it! Only issue I had was with the vent in the bedroom with the Queen bed, did not allow for much cold air from the A/C, but thankfully the portable fan provided helped. If I ever come back to Gettysburg, I hope the house is available again.

House was beautiful and our host Becky was amazing. Prompt messages and instructions from Becky made the self check in so easy and quick. House was immaculate and beds were very comfortable, there was even plenty of extra blankets! I can’t say enough for the location it was private and very quiet. But only minutes from stores and historical Gettysburg. We spent hours on the back porch enjoying the backyard especially in the morning for the sunrise! I highly recommend this house and Becky.

This house was absolutely perfect and if you are coming for the Civil War history, this is the place to stay! Not enough focus is on just how close this house is in relation to the Antietam Battlefield and the walking trails. The house was absolutely spotless and well laid out. The hot tub was a perfect way to rest and recover from our miles of hikes. Captain Benders Tavern is only about 3 minutes away in town and has a nice menu and food was delicious! And Harpers Ferry is only about a 25 minute drive. Just a word of advice, if you are planning on hiking, bring tick spray and as soon as you get back to the house, put your clothes in the dryer on high for 10 or 20 minutes and do a good body check. We brought SEVERAL ticks home with us... Yuck!

This was our second time staying here. We came to town to watch our daughter compete at states for track. The house was a perfect location and had everything we needed!! We felt right at home!! Hopefully we will be back next year!

It was, by far, the nicest Air Bnb home we have ever stayed in! It is more beautiful than even the pictures can capture. The hosts have thought of everything. They go above and beyond in every category of hospitality. I highly recommend staying here. If someone is considering starting their own Air Bnb, this is the place to learn from. Wow, just, wow! Staying at the Sunset House was great. Exactly what we needed. Kelly’s communication was awesome and she was very easy to ask questions. The home is spacious, clean, and comfortable. She has snacks and local info that is included in the stay. The location is quiet and peaceful and we even got a beautiful sunset one of the nights while sitting outside on the balcony. The house is only a couple miles away from downtown Gettysburg and is very easy to get to. Our weekend went to quickly and we hated to leave. We 100% will stay here if we visit Gettysburg again. We absolutely loved this house. Looked just like the pictures. Very clean. It is in the country so I would recommend making sure you have your groceries before getting to the house. There is a Dollar General nearby. We spent a day in Lancaster and a day in Gettysburg and the house is centrally located between the two locations. It was perfect for us. I just wish we had had more time to just relax at the house because it was so peaceful.

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we felt we were in the most comfortable, luxurious and beautiful spot around. The house is appointed so beautifully and everything you could possibly need is there. Everything works beautifully and is easy to find. The house has so much space that a large party could easily coexist and not be on top of each other. Kelsey, make sure that you have everything you could need and plenty of it. I do not have one concern or recommendation. It was absolutely perfect.

It was lovely. Beautiful Kitchen. Huge Shower and beautiful bathroom. Deck was amazing with fish pond, hot tub, grill. Although we didn't have time to really enjoy utilizing all the amenities as there is so much to see in the area. But it was clean, comfortable. Only drawback was the stairs to the bedrooms but we were aware of that when we booked. Getting a little older now but made it part of our stair step exercise program. Wonderful location close to everything. Within a half an hour to Gettysburg. Thank you Robin. We had an incredible stay in your beautiful home. We recommended to all our friends when we came home. After an eight hour drive arriving at Hanover. It was wonderful to arrive at a clean and comfortable home away from home. Thanks again.

I highly recommend this place and would definitely book here again. It was right around the corner and within walking distance to downtown Gettysburg. The parking garage is located right behind the property and extremely convenient. The home was immaculate and fit all 8 of us very comfortably. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of little extras provided by the owner. The muffins, scones, waters and various coffees were a pleasant surprise. The front porch and backyard patio were wonderful spots to relax and enjoy our favorite beverages. Everyone in our group had a wonderful stay.

Loved our stay! We travelled for a dog show and this was a perfect place for us. It was private and peaceful. There was a lot of room to walk the dogs and they really enjoyed the smells and all the nature. The cottage is very roomy, had everything we needed, and very comfortable.
