Cabin holiday rentals in Gettysburg

This was a lovely stay! The house was clean (obsessed with the woody fresh smell of the pine) and had everything we could have needed. We even enjoyed stormy weather under the roof on the back deck!

Such a great little cabin in an amazing location! Has everything you could need from well appointed kitchen, extra blankets, comfy bed and awesome outdoor space with fire pit, grill and nice porch!

fantastic mountain getaway. at first we were bummed the weather was going to keep us inside but this Airbnb made it such an enjoyable and relaxing vacation nonetheless. beds were very comfortable, space was beautiful, and such a bonus that they provided the firewood for evening fires. will absolutely be coming back to see this space intiple seasons.

Our second year staying and can’t wait to return next year for our annual girls trip! Love this cabin, it’s so comfortable and well stocked. Feels like home and it’s surrounded by such beautiful trees!

I booked the cabin for a few days after having a sudden loss of my husbands dad. This place was prefect to recharge and unwind from our lives. We did do a couples massage and let me tell you amazing. The hot tub and fire pit where are favorite as well as playing a few games of pool. I kept catching my husband playing pac man he loved it. We will for sure be back.

Very restful. We had a nice time. We would stay there again

Looking forward to staying here again. I'd highly recommend for couples, families, friends and solo.

This was our second stay at Janel's place and it was just as enjoyable as the first time. We loved the fireplace and views from the A frame windows. The hot tub wasn't working unfortunately, but things happen and Janel was communicative about it. Had a great weekend regardless. Also love that Janel is accommodating of dogs. Our fur babies were happy to join us on our getaway.

Beautiful, quiet, private place. Enjoyed the stay! Would love to come back! It’s very peaceful and private. Beautiful view- lots of animals. The inside is beautiful as well. The road to the place is mostly dirt some gravel. It’s long, steep, and curvy. It was fine for my awd car and good tires. It’s a private road leading to the place. The driveway itself is fine and I’ve seen worse by far - but again I have an awd car with good tires - Honda crv. I had zero issues. Not sure I’d attempt with a low level sports car.

Otter Valley Lodge is truly an amazing experience. Waking up to a spectacular view of the water and forest was very special. The peace and serenity we felt during our stay is just what we needed. One of the highlights was how much our golden retriever loved it! She was in absolute heaven swimming in the creek and exploring the wide open space. It’s rare to find a place that feels this special and is so dog-friendly. Kenny the caregiver was very helpful and his stories about the history of the lodge are great. Bettina really cared that our experience was a good one. We will back, I can’t wait to experience Otter Valley Lodge in the Fall.

Beautiful private cabin. Exceptionally clean and well stocked. We spent the weekend celebrating our daughter’s 40th birthday and all of us had a wonderful time.

Beautiful place me and my boyfriend came here for his birthday we had the best time! Brandi had the space nice and clean when we got there. She is has excellent response time and is very friendly. The cabin itself was amazing the view was incredible! being able to go out and kayak was amazing. The perfect get away for you and your partner! we will definitely be back!

The property was amazing. Extremely peaceful. We enjoyed the privacy and the wildlife. We saw multiple species of birds, a beaver, several deer, and a frog! We only wished we had more time to spend here relaxing. Thank you for a great visit!

Great place to stay :) was looking for some peace and quiet and it was just that. Directions were easy, very relaxing environment and spacious. We were looking for a place to be far enough from a busy road but also not too far from shopping centers. This was a good in between, there was a good 20-30 minutes from any stores/restaurants. The only thing I would advice is having shows/movies pre-downloaded. There is a hotspot but it seems like we booked at the end of the cycle, so there was little to no wifi until the new cycle started. I would come back during warmer weather and go tubing :)

We a wonderful place! We wanted to quiet retreat and it fit the bill. Nestled in the forest, all you see and hear is natural. Yet the house had all the things so you had a quiet spot with all the modern features. We completely relaxed, cooked delicious food, went to a brewery and celebrated our anniversary in tranquility. Here are a couple of notes: Bring your stocks of groceries with you. There is Wegman’s closer to town but once you are there, you won’t want to pop down to get to the store. You really need a 4 wheel drive to get to the house because it is really off the beaten path. But it is totally worth it! It could be hard to fine but you are given step by step directions which are spot on. Bring a throw blanket if you use one home. They have a wonderful bed with a super comfy comforter! But if you like to read under a throw, no biggie just bring one! Tori is a great host! Very responsive! We simply loved this place and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

The pictures don't do this cabin any justice. It was so beautiful and peaceful there! We seen lots of wildlife every morning. It was close to all the places we wanted to go and see. We felt right at home during our stay. We plan on staying again when we return to gettysburg. Chad was very responsive.

We loved our stay here and will definitely stay again if in the area! The cabin is so comfortable and had all we needed. Enjoying morning coffee on the front porch swing was the best, so peaceful.

Lee Ann was very easy to reach and responded quickly. The interior of the air bnb was very cozy and well decorated, it exceeded my expectations. The backyard was also pretty and had a lot of space, and the surrounding area is beautiful with the state forest all around. I appreciated that Lee Ann warned me ahead of time that service might be spotty.
