Cute little house. Great location!

Debbie was an absolute pleasure. The house was immaculate and not to mention the stylish decorations made the ambience very comfortable. I would absolutely recommend 10/10.

Overall had a great stay! A few things to note for future b&bers: The only staircase is a black spiral staircase, which was a little difficult for our older family members to manage. The cooking utensils/food storage is a bit on the sparse side, if you plan on doing a lot of cooking/having leftovers, you may want to bring some cheap plastic Tupperware! The bbq grill/beach gear leaves a lot to be desired! It has definitely seen the wear and tear of previous guests. Which isn’t a big deal, but not something to depend on using without some TLC. Overall our stay was amazing. It’s a dream location with amazing beach access. The beds were phenomenal, and I will miss how comfortable it was. Shannon was an amazing host and left fresh flowers and apothecary items for us leaving the whole place smelling amazing our whole visit. I would absolutely recommend Mermaid manor to anyone visiting the area!

We had the best time and definitely will be back. The location was perfect, both the house as far as the views go and also location to town and stores/shops. The downstairs hang out area with gaming area was definitely a hit with our kids, perfect for afternoons after we hit the beach in the morning. The calm, sleek and comfortable aesthetics of the home were ideal, and loved the bunk room. The host truly thought of everything , there wasn’t one thing we needed or missing.

This is our fifth time staying at Patrick’s house. This stay, like all the others, was a great experience. It’s a perfect location with a great fishing dock. It’s a quiet, peaceful setting and not too far from Galveston. The house is nice and comfortable. Patrick is quick to address any concerns and is always responsive and helpful. I highly recommend staying here.

Our stay was amazing! Beautiful view of the beach and of the boardwalk. There’s lots to do and Rhonda is a great host, she made sure we knew how to get in and answered any questions we had about certain remotes or how to use certain things. I would definitely come back!

Loved everything about this place. Felt right at home. Awesome location. Beautiful home. Loved the pool and enjoyed the hot tub at night. It was close to Kroger for last minute needs and a few mins walk to the beach. Will definitely be back in the future!

Perfect layout for 4 adults and 2 kids. One of the nicer airbnbs I have stayed at. Great location - far enough away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to go into town too. Very convenient market down the street for any items you may have forgotten. I would stay here again!

Tara was very responsive from the start and during our stay. The home was very clean access was perfect and the pool was awesome. Awesome game room downstairs with great AC, games darts and fun times. I would highly recommend this location.

Don’t hesitate to book this beautiful home! The back yard was AMAZING! The house was very spacious with everything you could possibly need! House was also very clean. The back yard is breathtaking, heated pool, fire pit, plenty of outdoor sitting and even a TV outside. Gloria was very nice and very responsive and answered all of my questions as well as provided clear instructions on checking in and out. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this beautiful home again!

Wow! What an incredible place and an incredible host. We've stayed at over 30 Airbnbs and this is the only host that has gone this above and beyond - stocking the kitchen in anticipation of our Thanksgiving feast, a doggie basket with toys for our pups, a gorgeous pecan dessert and yummy pasta/sauce on the kitchen table, a zoom call to welcome us and to find out what else we needed (she ordered us more kitchen utensils & a fan from Target). The home feels like a home. Super clean, lots of character - high ceilings, lovely woodwork, lots of light, a sweet fully fenced in yard, and large comfy bedrooms. There are two bathrooms but everyone ends up using 1 upstairs as their main bathroom since it's the one with a shower - not an issue for us just FYI. The neighborhood is super walkable - so many gorgeous homes on every block. Easy to get to the Strand, beach and Broadway. Two thumbs way up for people with or without dogs! Simply amazing. Kelly’s oasis of a home was absolutely perfect. My children and grand kids enjoyed the visit and had plenty to do. The backyard and porch were amazing. The guys played pool the kids enjoyed swimming. Most of all I was comfortable and felt secured with my surroundings. She left a beautiful sand bucket with treats for the kids to welcome us! She was an awesome host! Visiting again in August! Thank you Kelly for a lovely vacation.

Beautiful and comfortable AirBnB that provides the perfect beach experience. With a good size pool which is PERFECT for little ones with shade and shallow ends. The house itself was very clean and decorated to feel like a home. The neighborhood itself is remotely quiet, not a high-end neighborhood but it provides a sense of Galveston culture. The house is walkable to the beach and many restaurants, as well as the pier. It’s overall a PERFECT house and location to everything. The host is very responsive and friendly!! We will be back!

Highly recommend the place! My family and I rented this place for a get a way. The home was definitely a vacation spot. The host provided us with a welcome basket and card and also some treats for our dog that came along with us. We will definitely be returning. Thanks David!

First impression: how cute this place is! It’s tucked away in a quiet, safe neighborhood and just steps from a park with a playground—perfect if you can even convince the kids to leave the amazing pool that kept them happily entertained for hours. The house itself was spotless and had everything we needed in the kitchen. The beds were super comfy, and we all slept great. Another big plus: it’s pet-friendly! This house truly was the cherry on top of a perfect family getaway. We’re already looking forward to coming back and staying here again!

My family’s stay at Julie’s was perfect! She greeted us and showed us around the house so we’d feel right at home. We typically stay on the beach (this was our first time staying in town) but the neighborhood was so quiet and mornings on the front porch were very peaceful! We’ll defintely be back! Centrally located with a friendly neighborhood ! Everyone who walked by greeted us, which made it feel very welcoming. We were a family of 8, including two kids under 2, and it felt very safe and kid-friendly. We especially appreciated the door blocking the staircase, that was a huge plus for our family with little ones. We visit Galveston often and will definitely return! Jack’s list of recommendations was AMAZING and came in very handy on a rainy day when we had originally planned for sunshine.

Loved our stay. Fantastic location, place looks even better than the photos. Very private and we loved the hot tub. Lana was kind enough to let us check in early. We can’t wait to return.

Extremely beautiful home! Very nice and clean felt so cozy! In a very good location such a quiet neighborhood, everything is close by and walkable to the beach loved that.

Stayed at David & Adriana’s place for a special anniversary trip this past weekend. We cannot recommend this place enough!!! We take trips quite often through air bnb and this stay was by far the best place we have ever stayed. David was VERY responsive with any questions we had. The location was perfect for the different activities we had planned. The house was clean and was easy to find things if we needed anything. There were some things we forgot to bring and was so happy that the house had the things we needed. Absolutely amazing!! We will definitely be staying here again.

This place is so cute and comfy. It's super clean, and it has everything you need including an outdoor media area with games. There were also bikes and items for the beach. We loved that it was a short walk to the beach and around so many places to eat. Highly recommend!

Sean's place was perfect for our family of 4's getaway. We enjoyed the charm of the house and all the little details, from the outside golf turf, to the backyard game room. The house was nicely furnished and had all amenities taken care of, even down to extra hair ties for guests. Beds were comfortable and spacious and there was plenty of room for our family to spread out an enjoy. Sean was a very communicative and gracious host, providing clear upfront directions and responding to every question or need we had. Finally, this location was great. The house is in a quiet street but not far to many attractions, including the farmer's market, the strand and art neighborhoods. We'll definitely be back.
