We felt immediately at home at Nieves! The house was beautiful, spacious, cozy, quiet and clean. Nieves was always responsive and available when we had questions. We felt very much at home and would return in a heartbeat. Thank you Nieves for sharing your home....and dogs! Sally

We really enjoyed our stay at Massimo’s place! It was charming and the spiral staircase and caved bedroom were so unique! The ceilings above the staircase were very low, so our 6’3” guest stayed on the main level to avoid bumping their head. We also had some trouble making sure the air conditioning worked, but Massimo was incredibly responsive and helpful. I’d gladly stay in Massimo’s home again - and spend more time on the roof deck!

We were charmed by this little corner of heaven. Comfortable bed, immaculate space, functional for cooking and perfect for relaxing outside. We appreciated the availability of the bikes since the village is very close. Andrea gave us excellent suggestions for restaurants.

Massimo's apartment was absolutely great. It was a very authentic place in the historic, quiet quarter. Very well equipped and clean. The communication was without any problems, Massimo was very helpful. I definitely recommend whether for a long or short stay.

Lacopos home is so beautiful and in a stellar location for walking to restaurants and taking in the beautiful historic centre Lecce. He has thought of almost every detail and gives a very welcoming check-in. The rooftop terrace is a hidden gem in the city. We also day-tripped to a few beautiful beaches only 30-45 mins away.

* Best location in Gallipoli! - right across the street from the main beach, and right in old town. * Responsive host - even though you can't drive or park in old town; Stefania made check in super easy. She was waiting for us when we arrived, and helped us bring in our luggage while one person waited with the car. Then she drove with us to the parking lot where she had saved us a parking spot with her car. So easy! * Beautiful apartment in old neighborhood; I believe it's her family home; gorgeous touches throughout * Gorgeous patio - though note that there is only shade for a few hours in the afternoon; for much of the morning and late afternoon it is sunny and HOT on the main patio (with beach views) * FYI on layout: entry level is 3 BR/BA en suite; up narrow spiral staircase is second level with small kitchen, dining room, and one patio; up outdoor staircase is the patio with beach views. Need to be comfortable with stairs. Highly recommend!

Excellent apartment in a wonderful location! Ivan’s apartment is a true little piece of paradise, located right by a stunning beach. The area is fantastic – there’s a promenade, cozy cafés, and pastry shops, all at very reasonable prices! The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s modern and fully equipped with all the necessary amenities. The highlight is definitely the spacious terrace with sun loungers – perfect for sunbathing and enjoying beautiful sunsets. One important note: there’s no elevator in the building, and the apartment is on a high floor, so be prepared to carry your luggage up the stairs (this might be helpful for some guests to know). A big thank you to Ivan for the lovely welcome treats – a bottle of wine and some traditional cookies! We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily return. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a place to relax!

Beautiful apartment! Large and spacious. In the original climate ♥️ There's a small issue with the parking lot. Free parking lots are located on the streets around, but it was difficult for us to find a free place :-(

What a wonderful stay we have had at Marco’s place! The location is fantastic and easy walking distance to the old city. Great that there’s parking close by. The place is spotlessly clean and has air conditioning. The communication with Marco was fantastic, before, during our stay and after our checkout. We had so many questions and Marco was super quick to answer these. Would highly recommend this apartment. We will come back for sure!

Lovely apartment that was more spacious than anticipated, very clean and well appointed. The roof terrace is what makes the place. It is huge and has an uninterrupted view west over the sea, so expect some fantastic sunsets with your pre-dinner drinks. There is a shaded area with dining table, so you can eat up there. Federico was super helpful and super responsive to messages. Hard to imagine a better host. The only note of caution is the noise from the bars below. The music can be loud and can run very late. We were aware from other reviews that there would be some noise, so were not too bothered by this (and are considering rebooking). Finally, one small thing. If you like croissants, get them from the bar below. Better than the ones the bakeries sell (unless you like your croissants sticky/sugary) and cheaper. The coffee is good too and the staff are lovely.

I would give this place and host 6 stars if I could! It’s a HUGE apartment that’s part of a palazzo built in the 1400s. Luigia is the most charming, warm, friendly and helpful host ever! She makes you feel at home and does so many thoughtful things like stocking the fridge with food and beverage items, walking you through the place with the right level of detail and even made my restaurant reservations for me like a concierge. The location is 2 mini blocks off the main square yet tranquil as can be. And the bed is the most comfortable of my 5 weeks in Italy thus far! I love Lecce, this place and this host! Can’t wait to return.

Had a great time in this Airbnb, very clean, extremely spacious and had everything we needed. There are two lovely beaches near the apartment as well as a good supermarket. Only downside is the distance to Gallipoli old town but we had a car and found parking no problem

We had a wonderful time at Barbara’s house. It’s beautifully restored and tastefully decorated. We loved watching the swifts on the terrace in the evening. All the sights were in walkable distance and Barbara was extremely helpful and accommodating. The house was spotless. Thank you Barbara Ruth and Neil

This is a fantastic place and we’d highly recommend it! Beautiful, spacious, spotless, well-decorated apartment in a great location with roof terraces (plural!) with amazing views. Ludovica was the perfect host- very responsive and helpful and the apartment guide was a very thoughtful and useful addition. Gallipoli is also a great place to stay when exploring Puglia, with lovely local beaches, good restaurants, activities and other towns in easy distance. Thank you Ludovica!

A special stay for 3 nights, in a lovely setting. Alessandro gave us fantastic recommendations for local shopping, and the kitchen faculties were great to cook in ! Spongano is a cute town, check out the icecream shop too. Alessandro's place has lots of space, and makes you feel like you're really staying in Italy !

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful penthouse! The views are absolutely stunning. You can see the sea from every angle, and the sunsets were truly unforgettable. The area is peaceful and quiet, yet just a short walk from the historic city center. Communication with the host was smooth and easy. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay!

We received a warm welcome from Luigi. Clear explanation of everything. Lots of recommendations for places to visit, to eat and beaches. Road parking no problem. There is a lift (helpful for our 84 year old friend). Spacious accommodation. Two balconies! Small but adequate kitchen. Both bathrooms are perfect. Air conditioning works well and is quiet. We walked into the historic centre many times to eat and look at the churches etc. Perfect location. We used the car to visit Gallipoli, Leuca, Galatina to name a few. We experienced very little noise from traffic or the neighbours. We slept well.

I think I didn’t look at all the pics on the listing so when I went in I was pleasantly surprised by all of what was available. Wonderful spaces. Beautifully decorated and a view to kill for! They had a wonderful welcome gift and Alessia was super communicative. The keys took a bit of getting used to but once I did it was perfect. Also the color of the door looks darker in the pic than in real life so I passed it at first. I would stay here again and again!

Amazing spacious roof top apartment…you will never tire of the view. Spotlessly clean and well equipped. Very central to all the historical centre of Lecce has to offer but peaceful/quiet. Fausto is a great host. Fabulous 5 night stay💚🤍❤️

Wonderful, spacious and very clean apartment. Amazing views from living area and balcony. Although on a busy road the apartment is very quiet and very secure. The check in instructions were clear. A few minutes to the old city where there are many restaurants. Also close to mini market. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Perfect place to stay. Excellent facilities. beautiful little private garden and a bottle of wine waiting for us in the frdge! Manuela was aways helpful and easy to communicate with and overall I have nothing but good things to say about our stay in her flat.
