Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Gafanha da Encarnação

It was a very nice cottage, small, but everything was in good material, nice shower, nicely decorated with nice wood details. We slept wonderfully with the windows open and the sound of the river, otherwise it was completely quiet at night. Outside nice terraces, wonderfully seated with our feet in the river, a fantastic environment, completely unobstructed views at the back of the house and a lovely hamlet. We walked every day for half an hour to Gois, a beautiful village with river and delicious pastries at the paladeria. We thought it was very nice!

Michele went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. We couldn’t recommend this spot enough. We really needed rest and relaxation and couldn’t have found a more peaceful location. We were sad to leave. Michele is a wonderful, kind and caring human being, and we were so fortunate to have met her.

Paulo met us at the house and gave us a warm welcome. He showed us around and offered great recommendations for the area. The place was clean, with a fully stocked kitchen, and centrally located—close to everything you’d want to visit. We truly enjoyed our stay.

I loved the house of Gafanha, that's what we were looking for. It was days of rest, the neighborhood is very quiet, we like it a lot. Cristiana was very helpful and polite, giving clear and helpful information. I highly recommend it.

Amazing house, extremely cozy and beautiful. The territory feels very private with the beautiful pool. We used the bbq which was nice. Creative and aesthetic interior. So pleasant host. No words, it was just perfect 🔥

When we first saw Mario’s place and the fact it was a perfect five stars from all previous guests - it was difficult to believe. But we immediately upon arrival understood why this was a perfect 5 stars…this is an incredibly special property - from the streams, waterfalls, history as an olive press, trails, peacefulness - this place was absolutely one of a kind. All in our group agreed this place, of all the places we’ve stayed in the world, was truly truly special….if we could give more than 5 stars - we would. Mario and Cila were fantastic hosts and incredibly responsive and the amenities and nice touches throughout made us feel right at home - better than home. Such a wonderful stay.

The accommodation corresponded in every respect to the photos shown. Although check in was actually only at 5:00 pm, I was kindly allowed to enter the house earlier. This made it possible for me to explore Aveiro on the first day without having to lug my suitcase around. Unfortunately, I did not get to know the hosts personally. This was absolutely only because I wanted to go into the house. The next time I'm back in Aveiro, I will definitely book this accommodation again. Ana and Ricardo react very quickly, the accommodation is sparkling clean, the house is very centrally located, sights, restaurants, bakeries, everything is within walking distance, in short, this is the perfect accommodation for Aveiro. I have already saved the address for the next visit😊

I wanted to thank Joaquim and his wife, they were two amazing hosts, they made a point of introducing us to the house and its history. They were also very nice in accompanying us by messages asking if everything was in order or if we needed anything, finally they even delivered us a cake for an afternoon a few days before check-out.

The room is so beautiful, the surroundings are very good, everything is perfect, recommended to everyone!Next time we have a chance to come to Aveiro, we'll book here again!

The space is very comfortable and pleasant, we had an excellent stay. But what stands out is the kindness of the hostess. Luciene and her husband were very receptive and available. They make our stay in the city even more special.

Tiagos property is in an amazing location with lots of great restaurants nearby. We got a little lost as our map took us through town instead of an easier route. We messaged Tiago and he came to meet us. He’s such a lovely host and very friendly with some really good recommendations. Would definitely recommend this place. Parking is easy, free and close also.

Very well designed, modern, completely equipped apartment. Quiet and peaceful and private it felt very secure. Location is strategically central to the historic center of Aveiro. Walking distance to all points of interest. We were lucky to find this apt. We will return !

I would definitely return to this apartment. It has incredible views, and we have seen beautiful sunsets, but the house also has all the comforts, it is decorated with great taste and everything is taken care of in detail. Everything was super clean, and Eulália made sure we were well at all times, answering quickly and even coming when it was necessary to fix something. I highly recommend it, and I would return without hesitation.

Stayed 3 nights in this perfectly located & lovely comfortable apartment. Balcony is perfect to enjoy drinks & evening sun watching the many swifts flying around. A real buzz from the street below with bars & restaurants but completely quiet inside the apartment. Recommend this accommodation to explore Aveiro and Costa Nova - on foot and by bike.

Even though it is listed as being in Figueira da Foz, it is actually in the neighbourhood of Buarcos. Much better. More authentic. You are steps away from the beach. Daniel and Elisabete are a nice, hardworking couple. Very friendly. The place is perfect, quiet and in the old part of town. You are within the old remparts. Nice walks and beach strolls all around. Lidl supermarket 5 minutes away. The terrace is beautiful. Big plus. I definitely recommend this place.

Excellent! A very good place to spend a vacation. The house is beautiful, with everything we needed to spend a few weeks on vacation. The view we have of the ocean is wonderful. Mr. António is very attentive. I highly recommend it.

We enjoyed our stay at Sonia's apartment. It is well located, on the side of the river with the restaurants nearby. The apartment is cozy and has practically everything we need. It doesn't have its own parking, but it was easy to park on the street except local Festival days when we had to go a couple of laps and park a couple of streets farther away. Sonia was attentive and always answered our questions. We would recommend this place.

I recently stayed at Urbiluso Airbnb and had an amazing experience! The space was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. Urbiluso was incredibly responsive. I felt very comfortable and safe throughout my stay. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting the area!

Small but very comfortable and esthetic studio with a nice view. Walking distance from the old center. Eduardo and Manuela provided a helpful suggestions and information regarding visiting the town. We were able to leave our car in front of the building while visiting the town, even after checking out. It was very convenient and accommodating. We had a very good time in old Coimbra. It is a very interesting town to visit. Thank you Eduardo and Manuela for sharing your place with us .

We felt right at home at Andre’s place and loved staying in such a beautifully typical Portuguese home. André has thought of everything from kitchen tools to games and every comfort of home. We especially loved the peaceful backyard garden. We would definitely stay here again if available for our next trip to Aveiro.
