Homey Cottage with Glacier View

Our homey mountain retreat used to be my grandparents' place and has been completely renovated just recently. We wanted to preserve the snug and cosy traditional atmosphere with a combination of traditional furniture and a more modern almost minimalistic kind of interior. We kept parts of the traditional furniture and a beautiful collection of my granddad's handcarved portraits on the ground floor and combined it with bright wood and white on the first floor to leaven the atmosphere.

The apartment is completely separated from the main house, with a separate entrance. It is in a perfect location between Kaprun (Kitzsteinhorn or Maiskogel) and Zell am See (Schmittenhöhe). Ideal for all winter sports enthusiasts and avid hikers. Also only 2 km to the Tauern SPA Kaprun and 10 minutes' walk to the swimming pool in Piesendorf. The apartment is new, modernly furnished and well equipped. Quiet but still central 2.5 km from Maiskogel - closest ski slope.

A clean, very tidy place and a sweet area close to all the slugs are very beautiful and have an extra bed in the hall but there are no spoons and no washing machine in the same apartment but there is a washing machine in the building with coins, in general the place is very beautiful

We stayed for a week in August (2 adults and 4 children). The house is excellent, very spacious and well equipped with amazing views across to the mountains from the main floor which includes the living areas and master bedroom. The pool is an added bonus and a good size. The location is great with many activities just a 5-10 mins drive away. Manuela was a wonderful host and we had a really enjoyable holiday. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

We were a group of 5 or 6 people and depended on a flexible arrangement of the arrival and departure time. This has been given to us undemanding. The view was fantastic as the apartment is located above the mountain (own mobility by car is important). The apartment corresponded to the pictures. The apartment was modern, had a well equipped kitchen and corresponded to the photos. There was a larger room with a normal size double bed, as well as another room with a slightly smaller double bed for cuddling as well as a large alcove double bed, as well as a couch. The communication was very nice and the feedback from the rental was quick. We would come back every time.
