Cabin holiday rentals in French Lick

We stayed here for Derby weekend and couldn’t have been happier with it. Only thing we wished was different was a longer booking! Beautiful views of the Ohio River and very peaceful environment. Darlene was great with communication and instruction. Would recommend this stay to anyone looking to get away from all of the city commotion.

Andrea is personally invested in your satisfaction as a guest. She is responsive and friendly. She has organized this space with guests in mind: extra hooks, shelves, storage spots, little extras here and there, sensibly placed for easy access. You'll know what I mean when you visit. And do. it was perfect for me and my husband and three teen daughters. Thank you, Andrea!

What great place to stay! Centrally located to so many cool destinations in Southern Indiana. The home is clean, beds are comfortable, and the setting is private. Kitchen fully equipped. Enjoyed the hot tub and listening to a huge variety of birds. We would highly recommend!

Our stay at Patoka River Hideaway was wonderful. The cabin is peaceful, secluded, and offers a great deal of privacy. My wife and I had a perfect getaway and really enjoyed the opportunity to relax and reconnect. The host was responsive and helpful, and everything matched the description provided. We noticed a previous review mentioning low lighting in the kitchen, but there are buttons underneath the stove hood that turn on lights—these lit the stovetop perfectly and also activated the exhaust fan. Also, due to the wooded location, it’s a good idea to download offline maps beforehand as cell service can be spotty. Once you're at the cabin and connected to WiFi, this isn’t an issue. We loved our stay and are definitely looking to come again!

Wonderful stay, everything was great. Loved the peaceful surroundings, the hot tub, porch swing, fire pit, and various other thoughtful touches and amenities. Host was friendly and checked in with us to ensure all was well. Would stay again for sure.

My 2 sisters, my niece, and I stayed here for a random girls weekend! There was plenty of room for 4 adult women and the screened in hot tub was so awesome. We ended up not doing a lot of the activities because we didn’t make reservations for kayaks or boats in advance and we were only there 2 days. Overall we had an excellent time and I would definitely stay there again.

The cabin was very clean and cozy. We loved looking out at the river from the back porch and we had an amazing time paddling down the river. We even put our boats in the water from the cabins beach, which was also a beautiful place to hang out near the water. We would love to come back again, very soon. Thank you!

Our stay at this cabin was absolutely wonderful! The host was incredibly accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed. Despite the first day being rainy and the second bringing heavy snowfall, we still had an amazing time. The views were breathtaking, and the cozy atmosphere made it even more special. I highly recommend this place and can’t wait to come back again! I forgot to mention that this was our second time staying!

Visited over Labor Day weekend from Evansville for a weekend of boating, fishing and family time. The place was awesome and had a nice secluded feel but yet was close to French lick or Patoka lake winery. Plenty of room for our truck and boat. Also had power at the fire pit which I used to charge my boat’s batteries. The cabin was easy to find was a couple minutes drive from multiple different boat ramps.w Our family of 5 plus our dog enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to staying at Patoka herbs cabin in the future

Our family had a great time. The home is delightful. We watched lots of wildlife visiting the property. The list includes deer, a ground hog, a very vocal couple of woodpeckers, squirrels, a raccoon and more birds than I can name. Drinking morning coffee on either the front porch or screened porch was a treat each day. The proximity to the lake is a huge plus. The house was clean, comfortable and cozy. We hope to return soon.

Patty was a wonderful host! She was always responsive to any questions I had, and was always willing to help out with anything! Her cabin was perfect for a small weekend getaway with my husband. We brought our toy poodle with us with no issues. Beautiful property a surrounded by the woods and a small pond. A perfect place for a quiet getaway. I would recommend her place and would love to revisit again!

By far one of the most peaceful cabin rentals we've stayed at. The cabin was neat, tidy, and extremely dog friendly with lots of open space for them to run around. Sitting on the porch watching the sunset and rise with no sound or light pollution is a commodity these days - highly recommend for a complete offline experience!

Great place to have our girls trip! Def had a blast at the cabin. Cozy,clean, and cute! Definitely would go back and highly recommend

David's place was nice and spacious for our family of 4. Well stocked kitchen to cook, however there isn't a dishwasher and you have to hand wash dishes prior to leaving so don't plan to do a 3 course meal. We liked the cabin feel and it was plenty warm on a cold night. Beds were super firm (if that's what you like) and some of the sloppy mudding in the bathroom made the tub look dirty but it really wasn't. No shampoo, conditioner or body soap so be sure to pack your own. For the money, it was a good value and would stay again if I'm looking for an economical option for the family.

The cabin was beautiful, easy to find, and had plenty of space for our group of 6. It rained the whole weekend so soaking in the hot tun in a screened in area listening to the rain was so peaceful. Location to local stops was perfect. Highly recommend staying here and would stay again. Wes is a great host who would have been available if we had needed was very responsive and accommodating to a sort of last minute change. Great host, great place!

Our stay was amazing! Much needed getaway. We rode our motorcycle and the views did not disappoint! This was our second time at Tim’s place and plan to visit again next year!

A little slice of heaven. Lovely and inviting, 10 stars!! Everything was beautifully and thoughtfully appointed. We appreciated Ashley's place had wonderful energy, happy plants, was spic and span clean, had reverse osmosis filterd water in the kitchen and was super convenient to walk to the beach and restaurants from. We would love to come back and would highly recommend this Sweet Retreat to family and friends.

What a peaceful retreat! Super easy to get in. Check out was easiest in a long while! The hot tub was amazing. Of note, I’m tall so the hot tub was nice when it was just me and just enough room when my husband joined, but I wouldn’t want to add anyone else. The main bed was very high up like the pictures but there was a step stool if needed and SUPER comfy!!!! Huge plus!! Ashley was very quick to respond and gave us great recommendations for food around town. Definitely would go back!
