We loved staying at this property ! It was so cute and the beds were extremely comfy ! The outdoor area is so adorable ! We cooked steaks and ate outside !

The house was exactly as pictured and the pool and hot tub were amazing! One thing I would note is there is a rooster nearby that starts crowing every morning around 5:30 and it can be heard very loudly from the largest bedroom downstairs. We would definitely still rent again, but I recommend bringing earplugs if you’re sensitive sleepers as we are. But the house was immaculate and had everything we needed!

This home was stunning! The house was HUGE. Our large group fit very comfortably. The pool was great and the lot itself was beautiful and very relaxing. We enjoyed being in nature and seeing the wildlife, but it was also very close to town. Pictures do not do it justice! We had everything we needed to cook and felt right at home. We will definitely try staying again!

We stayed here for a quick Spring Break staycation with friends and kids and had a wonderful time!

This place was absolutely top-notch! From the moment we arrived, it felt like home—clean, beautifully organized, and welcoming. The pool was spotless and perfect for relaxing after a long day. One of the highlights was the Green Egg grill on the premises, we had a great time barbecuing and enjoying the outdoor space. Check-in and check-out were seamless, which made everything stress-free. Overall, this stay truly enhanced our trip. Highly recommend and would definitely come back!

Had a great weekend with a full house! Easily accommodated the 9 of us and the pool was fantastic. Less than 10 mins from downtown as well, very accessible. Would stay again!

We had an amazing time at this house in Kerrville. The photographs of this house just don’t do it justice - It’s even better in person. The location is 10 minutes max from town and has the most lovely views from the backyard. The kitchen has everything you need to make meals from scratch- probably the best equipped kitchen we’ve ever had in a vacation rental. The beds are very comfortable. The living space was roomy and had such interesting artwork. The back porch was a delight to sit out on any time of day. The pool was a little chilly the weekend we were there but that’s just because a big storm system had gone through the night before. We still had a fun afternoon in the pool. If you are not there in the height of summer and want to swim, you might want to consider paying to heat the pool- but remember that you need to do that in advance. We would highly recommend this rental home and hope to return.

We stayed a week at the river hollow retreat. We got lucky recent rains had the river over a two feet high in most places the fist couple of days. The property was beautiful and if you want peace and seclusion with no other people in site this is a great option. We had a 5 yo boy and a dog and never did we worry about where they went in the river. The location is great close to anything you may need but far enough away from kerrville to feel you are in total seclusion. The hosts were great and very tentative to your needs if they arise. My family will go back to the river hollow retreat.

Clean home and solid construction off the beaten path provided a wonderful night‘s rest. Early morning rise followed with tranquil outside seat and first cup of coffee followed by a second. Every box checked for a weary traveler seeking to refresh and replenish a dwindling reserve. Old books and vast views exist side-by-side and up-close with hill country nature and healing.

House was beautiful! Only “complaint” is for those sensitive to the light: there are no black out curtains provided. It’s worse in the front room because the flood/spot light by the garage is motion activated and turns on every five seconds, shining right into the room. Other than that: everything was amazing

Book this house! We absolutely loved our stay here! The owner was extremely responsive and accommodating. The home was immaculate, with every amenity you could need. It is centrally located to many different restaurants, wineries and breweries. It felt safe and quiet and we saw so many deer on property. We ended up having to bring our children (4 & 3 yo) and it was perfect for them as well. They even found some kids toys and books to keep them busy and happy. The beds are very comfortable.. The showers heat up quick and provide great water pressure. It is the perfect home for 2 families or 4 couples with the bedroom and bathroom setups. Book it! You will not be disappointed. We can’t wait to come back!

We loved our stay! The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. James was a responsive and helpful host. We experienced a minor kitchen drain issue, but with it being a holiday weekend, he stayed in touch and we found an easy workaround—it didn’t impact our plans at all. We spent a relaxing weekend lounging by the pool and enjoying the beautiful space. Overall, a great experience and we’d definitely stay again!

1. the house was fantastic. looked just like the pictures, lots of room, very CLEAN, and the back porch was perfect for relaxing. Covered parking for those hot summer days++++ 2. So close to great restaurants, and winerys. Some shops, but great shopping in towns near by. 3. Pedernales falls state park is 15 minutes away. Great river to soak in. The little ones and dogs would love it. Our yorkie did. Well worth staying at.

This was a great place to stay! Michael was very accommodating and helpful! We really appreciate them for being flexible. The space was bigger than expected, which was a good surprise! The drive to town was only around 3 minutes and one night we even walked home and had no problems. Beautiful place!

Beautiful home, and beautiful land. We had such a great weekend at The Ranch House. We had all the peace and quiet we needed and were comfortable. Clear entrance instructions and easy check in/out. Would definitely book again.

Sydney was a fabulous host. The home is beautiful and very well equipped and comfortable. We loved the pool and appreciated the extra touches that she provided such as toys for the kids, pool toys and floats and towels for the pool/lake and much more. Our family had a wonderful vacation!!!

What a great stay! We wanted to leave the chaos of the city behind for a few days and what a relaxing and peaceful place we picked. The area is rustic, charming, and not filled with people. The gravel road that leads to the house is not advisable for sports cars but any other car SUV is completely fine and easy. The first thing that you notice at the house is the view when you walk into the great room, it literally smacks you in the face and you can't be in a bad mood when you wake up and walk into the kitchen and see that view. The grocery store isn't too far away it's a nice scenic Drive there's a few restaurants with a close drive as well and plenty of parks and places to wander. We chose this place because of the scenery and because we wanted to be a little bit more secluded than the busiest areas of canyon lake and the property delivered it in spades. communication was excellent, the house was clean and smelled fresh when you walked in, the recent renovation looks great.

Great house and great location close to town!

We had a wonderful stay! We really enjoyed the saltwater pool and hot tub. The location was perfect, offering a lot of privacy. The house was clean and well-stocked with everything we needed. Jonathan and Valerie were very responsive to any questions we had. Overall, it was a great experience, and we hope to stay again next summer.

What a wonderful serene stay. Very private. We saw no one but the sunset, stars and moon! The pool and hot tub tied our stay very nicely. The hot tub is big. It fit 6 of us comfortably. So many jet options. The art was intriguing. I believe was the owners. Very neat to incorporate into the rental. My friends were in awe with all the nature and amenities in the place. We brought out our kakaraoke machine and sang our hearts out with no worry on bothering the neighbors. Tied in our night with scores over the fire. Billy thought of everything we could think of. So many nooks and crannies to relax in. Already planning our next stay at Billy's place.

Our stay at this home was incredible! We got to the house earlier than expected, and the host granted us an early check-in free of cost. The door code did not work initially, but after calling, they unlocked the door immediately. They were extremely fast to respond to any questions or needs and take care of them for us. The house is beautifully decorated and has high-end amenities and finishes. The whole space felt very luxurious, but it was easy to settle in and relax. There was plenty of space for the 8 of us! As a bonus, the air conditioner (including a small unit in the garage by the ping pong table) worked extremely well. The pool and dock are spotless, and all of the outdoor furniture is high quality. We spent the majority of our time outside and enjoyed every minute of it. We rented a boat and the boat fit perfectly. We loved the included kayaks and paddle board. Overall, this is a perfect lake house for a family weekend! We will be back!

This place was Amazing! Me and the girls had such a blast here. The pool and hot tub were a hit. Definitely recommend! Plenty of space and shops and restaurants were a 5-10 minute drive.
