The house is beautiful and the views are just breathtaking. From inside the house, you get a beautiful view of the lake and then the porch is amazing. You can kayak, use the paddle board or use the canoe. You can also sit by the lake and enjoy the campfire. The surroundings are very beautiful and peaceful. The host is very responsive, solved all our doubts and was flexible with us during check-in and check-out, which we appreciated very much. At check-in, we were greeted by a great bottle of wine and chocolates, which was a great touch. The house also has a ping pong table, books to read and board games. The kitchen was well stocked with the basics. We had an amazing stay, we highly recommend this property :)

Staying here is always a joy for the entire family! It has become an annual tradition that we all look forward to in winter. Thank you for being so accommodating with our schedule and a special thanks to Mitchell for going the extra mile to snow blow a waking path for me and the dogs to keep our daily routine of visiting the horses, after the last storm brought over 13” of snow. We loved the character of the house. Its historic age was quaint and added charm to our weekend. It is located on in a quite area even though it sits on the main road. The large room on the back of the house was perfect for our large group to hang out and spend quality time together. The kitchen was decorated to match the character of the house but had modern soft close cabinets and great appliances. Adam, the host, was attentive and very helpful with our needs.

Great place, right on the lake. We were there for a ski trip but will definitely stay there in the summer to enjoy the lake!

The lake house was beautiful! Literally a lake house it's on the water. The kitchen was great to use and socialize at the same time with a wonderful open floor plan into the living. There was a squall on the lake when we were there, so it got loud at night. I had ear plugs, so it was cool :). the fire pit was delightful. There are great restaurants in the area as well. Thank you for sharing your home.

Absolutely incredible experience! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this place was something special. The property was immaculate—clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Every detail, from the cozy bedding to the pristine kitchen, was perfection and made our trip unforgettable. Judith went above and beyond in every way, and clearly thought of everything a guest would need to feel right at home. She is also very responsive and easy to communicate with Without question, this property sets the gold standard for all Airbnb rentals. This is a beautiful, brand new, and pristine house. The location is perfect, close to Meredith. It’s a very short drive to Fun Spot and a close walk to the neighborhood beach. Very clean and modern. A great stay!

Beautiful space - perfect for two couples or small families. My husband and I went for a weekend away with my parents. Loved the location being close most places around the lake and Megan was super responsive to anything we needed. 5 stars all the way!

This is our extended family's third visit to Windy Peaks, so that speaks to how much we enjoy the place. It is a very comfortable house in a beautiful setting that easily accommodates our family of 7 adults and 4 kids. Depending on the weather, we've enjoyed playing pickleball, ping pong, pool and board games; the very nice playground; sledding; fire pit; and skiing at nearby Ragged Mountain. The kitchen is well-equipped with plenty of room for multiple cooks to work their magic. (It is on a mountain top so can get windy, though, thus "Windy Peaks".)

This is an absolutely fantastic home base to explore the NH lakes region as well as eastern VT! Jesse was an amazing host. He was super helpful and offered a myriad of hiking and dining suggestions well in advance of our stay, and even offered an earlier check-in time! The directions were easy to follow, surrounding location exactly as-described, and check-in was a breeze. Inside: The home itself was very well appointed, including a lot of really fun games! We loved how the focal point of the main gathering space was a great table rather than a TV. Excellent idea!! Plenty of space for our family of 5 including 3 older teens. Outside: The deck was lovely, and the neighbors waved to us when we passed, which made us feel right at home. Super close to Newfound Lake, and Squam too- if you want to see where “On Golden Pond” was filmed! :) Odysea was great for coffee and a quick breakfast, and Hannaford is super close for groceries. So sad to be leaving. Don’t miss this treasure!

We went to Steven’s home on Lake Winnisquam for our daughter’s graduation. The house is direct lake front, stunning panoramic views! The home is beautiful, updated and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is fully stocked, the washer/dryer convenient on main floor. Gas fireplace chased away coolness of the spring mornings and creates cozy ambiance. Comfy furniture! On the roomy screened porch the furniture is excellent quality. There is a drink fridge and ice maker on the porch for your convenience. The baths and bedrooms were immaculate. We appreciated full size beds. The neighbors are friendly and had a smile when we walked our dog or drove to the house. Great parking spaces, beautiful lawn area with firepit, seating space under the porch, gas grill, private dock, kayaks and more. Lake is pristine. Steven responds very quickly to inquiries and is a top notch host! Great coffee/tea station, thoughtful amenities! Will come again in a heartbeat!

I was planning on my proposal and wanted somewhere special. The window house was exactly that. Private, peaceful, super clean, amazing views and wildlife. Taylor and Marla were EXTREMELY good at communicating and getting back in a timely manner. If you and your significant other are looking to get away, this is the place. It’s sublime.

This house was perfect for a weekend getaway. James was responsive and checked in and out was super easy. The house was super clean and has everything needed. Waterfront with access to kayaks. Great for fishing and boating, lovely nature surroundings. Very peaceful. Quiet neighborhood and private. Close to Laconia and about an hour to Conway. Great stay. Would definitely recommend. We plan to go back!!
