This place was a perfect get away; peaceful, cozy and with a view! The hosts were responsive and friendly. The location has necessities close to it by car and it’s not too far away from Burlington if you need a bit more. The house was very clean - our only comment would be that there was a bit of a musty odour to the place. We would definitely return if we’re ever back in Vermont!

I have stayed in a many rental properties over the years and I have never had a kitchen so loaded with everything a cook could ask for - very helpful! Amazing views and a 20 minute drive to Jay - just a great experience. The property is on a dirt road, which is no joke. Make sure you have the right vehicle for Vermont mud season and you will have the time of your life. Highly recommended!

I absolutely cannot wait to come back. We originally booked 2 nights and ended up extending bc it was so great. The pics don’t do it justice. Everything is so clean and cute. Plenty of towels, comfy bed, tv in living and bedroom. Beautiful dining area, comfy couch, plenty of pillows and blankets. They plowed when it snowed, and Christine was always available. We even utilized her dog walking and sitting service which saved us from rushing home from our activities. We come to Vermont to ski/snowboard in the winter and hike/ bike in the summer, and I’m certain we’ll be back soon!

My wife and I were overwhelmed with the beauty of the surroundings. The host thought of everything that would or could be needed to make us feel like we were at home. From the moment we arrived we knew our time here was going to be very enjoyable. The next time we plan to visit Jay, Vermont, we will plan our trip around the availability of this property. Stayed at Mike’s place for 3 nights while skiing at Jay Peak. Ideal location and was just the perfect layout and space for my party of 6. Even with 3 adults and 3 kids there was still plenty of extra space for additional guests. Some nice restaurants just down the street towards Montgomery. The space was also ideal for cooking in and enjoying time with everyone. Have been to Jay Peak often and would certainly be interested in renting again.

Great house and responsive host. Kitchen was very well stocked for cooking and there were plenty of books/games to keep you occupied.

House is even better in person: high quality furnishings, beds, etc. Florence was very easy to communicate with and even helped us get some lift tickets. Highly recommend.

Wonderful chalet and amenities, well cared for, great location. The area scenery is breathtaking. Really enjoyed the coffee&bike shop combo down in montgomery center.

What a beautiful place! We enjoyed Chris's place as a lovely retreat after long days of skiing. The kitchen was well-appointed, the wood stove was so enjoyable, and the kids loved all the games, pool table, and dart board. Here's hoping we can plan another trip there again next year!

We had a lovely stay at Molly's house on the lake. The area is rural and beautiful; we spent days kayaking, cycling to nearby islands, and just sitting on the back patio enjoying the lake. Molly was responsive and friendly.

We had a wonderful stay at Mark’s cabin. We skied at Stowe and although it was about 50 minutes away, it was an easy drive and close enough to other local things to do. I would definitely return in the future!

Fiona’s place is absolutely stunning! I went for a birthday trip with a few friends during the coldest weekend of the year, and our stay exceeded expectations! Fiona was beyond communicative and the house had amazing amenities that kept us busy including games, gym equipment, and a sauna! The house was extremely close to smuggler’s notch and was a great place to gather and enjoy time with friends! We would love to visit again!

Very great place to stay for a little vacation or just anything really. The sunrise over the lake sitting on the front porch in the morning is absolutely wonderful. Room are very decent sized and beds are very comfy over all great place to stay. Also very decent restaurant right down the road

We are repeat visitors and loved our stay again. The home and property are wonderful for our annual group trip. It is away from the crowds of the mountain and downtown Stowe, but yet so close. The view, the natural surroundings, the privacy make it just the escape we need. The space has lots of separate areas so kids can and adults can all find areas to play, read, watch something on TV, stare out the windows, or cook and hang out in the kitchen. It checks all our boxes.
